Fire Emblem Fates

Hey all, I've managed to get the file-system for the Fire Emblem Fates 3DS games, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding the actual models. I was looking specifically for the models of Niles/Zero, but all of the BCH I find are just 2d graphics. Can anyone help?

So, I'm currently going through models in Solatorobo: Red the Hunter and exporting them.
I can't do a lot, really, without blender, but I can get basic previews of the models after exporting them to .obj


However, the folder I've directed my attention to has a bunch of models whose shared textures are stored in a separate file, with a few exclusions.

I have the capabilities to export the textures, in fact I already have. However, I'm having to re-name some textures to get the model to load them. Like, say the model has a pet cat somewhere on it. My texture would be 'cat.png' , and the .mtl file is asking for 'fel.png' (not that I have any models there meeting that description, this is just an example)
I can re-name the cat.png to fel.png and then it will be loaded, but just wondering if I'm potentially doing something wrong?

Far as I can tell, the textures are correct.

Is it unheard of for the models to ask for a texture by a different name than it's actually saved under?
I don't mind manually re-naming files according to what the .mtl specifies, I'm just worried I might be doing this the wrong way. So far, I've re-named enough files to correctly display three models in this directory with their textures.

Do the exporters ever export texture references improperly?


Besides that, does anyone have the ability to convert maya models to .obj? (or anything that I can open , render, and edit for free, something blender supports is ideal)
Or the ability to make a model converter export to another format?

I was doing research about starfox assault ripping, and landed on a thing for extracting adventures models.
Good news is all the files still exist, and any post on the thread/forum I've found for this indicates it works, with maybe a slight hiccup or two. Bad news is the chosen export format would require me to:
A: Have a computer that can run Maya (i don't think i do)
B: Learn how to use Maya to some extent (rather not, i'll consider myself lucky if i ever learn something besides sketchup anytime soon)
C: Purchase or pirate Maya (again, would rather not...)

The person who made the ripping tool has provided the source code to it.
I would greatly prefer an option that avoids the use of Maya at all.





That's all for now, I'll maybe post some screenshots of that first issue tomorrow.

Well i was going to practice more 3D modelling, but i cant seem to draw the characters in a position and angle, i would like to ask if someone could do it for me? Isnt that hard (If you know how to draw) here are some examples:

If someone can, i would like to request if you can do it with the legs a little bit opened, and the fingers of the hands opened too (It makes rigging easyer)

Someome have free time and likes to draw? i guess i could give you the .blend files when i finish (I use Blender)

I'm making my first custom model, but now I've already ran into a problem. I can't figure out how to turn this: http://i.imgur.com/s4VRnnp.png
into a blob-ish curved mesh somehow. 
I almost forgot to mention I'm doing this in blender.

This is some sort of game? I have no idea what I'm going to do. But I have a engine done.... sorta.

After seeing how unoriginal my quickly made "Stencyl-tale" engine was. I decided to throw out all the spoiled eggs in the basket, and make something that isn't hackish. The engine has had some tweaks (It's barely even an engine, anyhow). I have been posting some test graphics for this quite a bit, and I finally got the test compiled up for it to be not trash? Anyhow, here's some new stuff compared to Bootleg Undertale.

-Text scrolling has been optimized, it can now also automatically spaces fonts so one can actually read it.

-Running! NPCs can't do this yet, so they lag behind.

-Very barebones NPC following scripts. It's rather buggy, and I have been trying to fix it up, hence the debug info on the test game below.

-Talking animations for NPCs (Dunno why I never supported it before. They also now face the player on contact)

-Corner walking and animations (Always found the older walking style primitive)

-Proper layering! NPCs and maps can now have tiles above and below the player!

Nothing in here is perfect. In fact, it's pretty buggy. But if there's any changes you want, I might try to implement them. Most of the sprites are test sprites, so ignore how much I reuse the one NPC sprite set.

Hi there,

I have just signed up for this forum, however, I have been coming to this site for a few years now.
Grabbing sprite sheets. Messing with them. For fun. Stuff for fun. I keep meaning to do an open BOR game but then only getting the levels done and realizing I can't program.
But I have a big collection of saved sprites now, for some reason, ha ha ha.

Anyhow, I was making a few levels for another person's game, using stuff from Batman Returns on SNES. I loved that game as a kid.
Then the person I was making it for said maybe I ought to try a Batman game. Well, I wasn't certain, but then I ended up playing a bunch of Arkham Knight and reading comics and a story got into my head, so I kind of thought I might try.

I looked at the Batman Returns sprites but a few were missing. Where were the fat clowns? The knife throwing ladies? Those stupid stilts clowns who keep throwing torches?
So I ripped them. Stuck them into sheets. Now I have those sheets.
However, I have no idea how I am suppose to go about submitting them. I'm looking around, but I can't seem to find it. I guess I must be missing wherever that info is.
Can anybody help me out?

I may end up ripping the bosses that haven't been done for that game yet. Well, maybe. We'll see.

Here's a list of 10, but I thought this was interesting to talk about, especially the potential for a cure, or at least a stopper for cancer.  So many people died from cancer this year, and hearing some good news in that department is more than welcome.

there was a sprite/pixel art only/tailored towards image hosting site

and in japanese Pikuseru zendō which means "the entire nation of Pixels" 

and literally just have so clean and simple 
push browse, select file, then have the image simply appear on the bottom. 
no gallery view, no seeing what everyone else has posted, just like literally, i need to upload a sprite. done.

Unity 5.3.4 Ripping?

Does anyone know a good way to rip assets (Texture2D, Sprites) from Unity 5.3.4 games (such as Pocket Mortys?)

I was using Unity Studio before to get .dds images that I could then convert to .png with ImageMagick, but the most recent update (Pocket Mortys 1.4.1) is using Unity 5.3.4f1 textures that no longer seem to be extracted properly with Unity Studio.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm returning to make a couple new sheets for Genesis, and revise old icons and sheets that were replaced during site changes. Its been a few years, but I remember using a utility provided by the site to make my icons. Is there a new one for the larger icon format, and where on the site can I download it? Thanks.

Sugar Rush Models in N64 version

These models designed by The regressor, we can give us an idea of how it would be if the game Sugar Rush (Wreck-it-Ralph) really existed in 1997. I always knew that development should be a fake, but I read on a page saying that the game is canceled as if they were really developing it, and I also found a download link, which seemed to me a good opportunity to download them.

Looking for Sprite, Tile & GUI Price Quotations

Ahoy all!

Some of you may know, some of you may not, but I've been working on an My Little Pony fangame for a while now. I think I've developed quite a cool gameplay style and want to turn it into a unique IP rather than a simple fangame. I've gotten someone who will be remaking the engine from scratch in C++ and we're hoping to get everything going in a few months.

While the end goal is to pay someone for sprites, tiles and GUI work, what I'm after is finding who would be interested in working on a project like this, it will be a long term project with a Steam/Android/IOS release as the end goal. I'm looking for price quotations for the graphic work so I can put together a budget before diving head first. I'm also wanting someone who'll be willing to work closely with the concept artist for the creation of the assets.

The N64 had a release of June 23, 1996.

And thus, the console's 20th birthday has become. Due to that, does anyone have any memories with the console?

I wasn't really in the N64 era, but it was my 1st console. I have some great memories due to that. My greatest was playing Mario Party 3 with some friends, and getting whooped. Even if I lost, I had some really fun times.
