MegaMan X - ZETA Protocols

Greetings to the VG-Resource Community!

I would like to present my current project in development called: Mega Man X - ZETA Protocols.

Platforms: PC, Mac OS X, iOS, Android

General:
Mega Man X - ZETA Protocols is a Mega Man X Fan Game project I have begun programming in April 2016 which is estimated to release in Fall 2017.
The game and it's engine is being programmed in C++ for a smooth framerate on all platforms with the best optimization possible only requiring a PC or a device with the hardware equaling the processing power of a Playstation 1.
Also the Graphics API SDL is employed which also allows me to port the game to Mac OS X/iOS and Android so everyone can play the game anywhere they want.

Story:
It is the year 23XX and the world took cyberpunkish nuances evolved rapidly due to new discoveries in robotics.
Doctor Wren an introverted computer/robotics scientist achieved to decrypt the mystery of the 'conscience' and founded ZETA_Labs to profitize his achievement implenting conscience chips to reploids of governments, household devices, open public vehicles and terminals.
This achievement leads to lessening the necessity of the humans leading to tension betweens Reploids/Robots and the Humans.
Reploids manufactured by ZETA_Labs begin to turn Maverick due to an unknown cause and attack humans in the year 237X reactivating the Maverick Hunters who were in hiatus.
Fact is that Dr. Wren is not responsible as it seems on first sight for the Reploids going Maverick.
(This is just a snippet of the story, there is more but I do not want to spoil too much because there is one or two surprises for MegaMan fans)

Gameplay:

The gameplay will be the same like MegaMan X1-X3 in terms of physics whereby the character sprites will be based on the MegaMan X4 ones while altered in their style.
Regarding the stages I will not recycle Tilesets/Backgrounds from the older titles, new ones will be created to fit the X4 character sprites.
This game will not be a 'Megavanoid' aka. Open-World and will be classical - stage based with the exception that there will be a Hub where you can buy Upgrades/Chips/Custom Armors/Custom Weapons. (Custom Armors do not mean Armors Like the Blade/Shadow/Ultimate armor and so on.)
Custom Armors and Weapons will be available in the Hub store after unlocking them defeating specific Robot Masters from older MegaMan games whereby their corresponding stages will be remaked totally and extended with new portions of sections.

Features:
*3 Playable Characters (X,Zero,X-KAI and a new one which you will unlock after reaching a special story event in the game)
*12 Robot Masters
*New Tilesets from the ground up (*Current ones are placeholders*)
*MegaMan X4 Physics
*Dynamic Lightning and Light Strobes
*Particle system for better effects
*Central Hub with a shop
*Custom Armor and Weapons
*Classic Armors reimagined
*Compatible with iOS and Android Phones
*more to come..

Screenshots:

will be uploaded once I am satisfied with the progress of the engine.

Adventure™ (a Mario & Sonic thing)

Description copy-paste
Quote:No logic is not suppose to be strong.
I created the audio source for this nearly a decade ago... heh, now ain't that something? And yes, I've got the history of it right below!

Back in the day my brother and I use to make (and every so often still create mini) audio tracks we like to call "Adventures", and these would be shared just between us two because we never had any friends that were into such things, and we weren't exactly on the internet back then either (even if so, just posting the audio alone would have been just... strange to strangers). You may think just audio is boring... nope! Our imaginations took us where our lack of animator skills couldn't!

The audio taken for this video was a scene taken from my very first Adventure as a tribute to the whole series we made out of it. What you see here was just the start of what it was like. As time went on we got more lines from the shows (and better quality rips of them!), we started using more sfx (it was bare minimal at the start) and we got more experienced at making these things. They got a bit less random (to an extent) with better sub-stories, and by far got greatly improved than what you see here.

These adventures usually involved a cast of Mario and Sonic characters traversing all over worlds with countless guests characters appearing in between. Video game worlds, movie worlds, or non-media worlds at all! Not even we were sure where they'd head off to next!

Questions & Answers
-----------------------------------
Q. Why are the characters jerks?/why are they so easily offended?/Why does Sonic say "here we go again" twice in the same scene?
A. Simply put, at the time of creation of this Adventure I was very limited in the amount of lines I had, so I just threw random stuff together and tried to make something out of it. Truth be told, some characters ended up carrying over some of their jerkish attitude across several Adventures. xP
(It got so out of hand that it was addressed in one episode Tongue - and no that was not a boring Adventure.)

Q. How long is a normal "episode"?
A. An Adventure™ on average is 10-15 minutes in length. Mini-ventures are 2-3 minutes.

Q. Why is the mall so empty?
A. Well, Mario did say "there's something fishy about this place" did he not?

Q. Can I get the complete audio for this Adventure™?
A. I might consider it if you ask nicely. Cute

Q. How long did it take you to make this?
A. A week and a half. 6 seconds a day on average I'd say.

Q. Do you plan on doing more? Even a full episode?
A. I've considered doing more, but with the time it takes, sometimes I just want to take an animating break to pursue some other hobbies, or perhaps even just animate something different as a break. You know how it is just to look at one thing for a long time, right?

Hey all! I need new stuff to rip. Preferably, any big projects to keep me busy. I've been on the down-side of ripping all the stuff I used to be, and I'm too lazy to return to them. Any suggestions? I need some ideas Tongue. Thanks!

Rippings and extracting models from Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 Ps2 iso game

Hello
I want to extract all of playable characters 3d models of the ps2 game Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3. I read somewhere, i had to save and do a bump memory during playing at the game if i want to read in my hex editor the eeMemory.bin file without the encrypting protection. But my problem is at this moment, what am i supposed to do after opening the file in HxD software to have the model in obj format ?
I also know there is another solution to extract 3d models on pcsx2. I have to use 3DRipperDX and capture by pressing f6 key a moment of the game where my desired 3d models appear, but i think that method can't work with naruto ultimate ninja 3 :/
Thanks you in advance and sorry for my bad english, i'm french =)

Trouble ripping images from an Android game

There is a game called "Pocket All-Stars Smash Bros" on Android. It's a Chinese rip-off game, using Nintendo's characters. However, the sprites are original, and I would like to rip some of them as I like how they look.

http://nintendoenthusiast.com/news/super...-in-china/

However, I keep running into an issue. After changing the .apk to a .zip file, I extract everything. I then go to the assets folder, and look at all of the images. They are all in .png format, so it should be no problem to open them in any standard program. However, for some reason, I can't open them at all, and they don't have thumbnails either.

I was wondering if anybody else knows what to do here? I feel like I'm so close but I can't find any solutions to this problem.

By the way, all of my other .png files still work perfectly.

Hey everyone! I recently delved into Morrowind to rip some of the sounds since it's like the best game ever, and right around that time, Anex happened to be working with Skyrim, so we'll be posting our rips here and working together when possible to hopefully finish up some of the ES games! *applause*

There's still a few things left to get in this game but not a whole lot. I'll be moving to Oblivion once I'm done here so that'll be fun. Anex has a few things already in the works too so look out for those!

Uh... this is the end of the project's first post.

Nailed that conclusion.

I have made lots of "one-shot" pixelarts that don't warrant a topic on its own but I don't want to flood the general thread so here ya go

Hello, I am Super_Sp0nge. I was Sp0nge80b, but I forgot that email and account's password. I had to make a new account. The old account, I uploaded mainly custom really low quality textures.
If someone could show me around...

Apparently, i'm a newbie at images too. I'll try to fix the title.

I really liked that this site has sprites, models etc available and I thought I should join in an effort to say "thanks". Smile I have downloaded a few models so, later on, I'll go to thank the uploaders.
I'm a super newbie in spriting and 3d modeling (especially spriting) but I just like em as a hobby anyway. Tongue

Anyway, this is pretty much it. I'll see you people around!

Hey all. I've been sorting through some of the game files for Rise of Mana, and I'm not sure what to do with them. I'm hoping to rip Deathjester and a few others, but I'm not sure where to start. I can upload files if need be. Can anyone help figure out how to rip from this game?

The Last Express

So I decided to add The Last Express to the pending list, however I wrote the title under "The Last Express (1997)". Years in parenthesis is not allowed on the titles of games, would it be possible to have the year removed by an administrator once he/she submits the game to the site?

Sonic Rush Adventure

Okay,  this is driving me crazy. I've been looking through the files for Sonic Rush Adventure, searching for the model of the true final boss (the "Egg Wizard") and  I just CANNOT find it anywhere. I'm going through each and every model file in the extracted folder of the game and I cannot find it ANYWHERE. Can someone end my issue and rip it for me? I have no idea what else to do at this point but outright ask.

EDIT: I found the file that contains the model and texture data. Only problem is I don't know how to extract them from it.

Help assembling a character portrait sheet

$

I've looked around the internet for awhile now, however I haven't found anything that answers my question.

Essentially I downloaded the character portraits from a game, however they came disassembled (not really sure how else to phrase that). For example they would look like this: [Image: XxiySkY.png]
My question is is there any program which would assemble these pieces into a complete portrait, or is there something that would allow me to do it easily without the need to manually piece it together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
