New user here, looking for feedback

Hello! My name is Reversinator, known in some places as GreenDisaster and Time Turner, and I wouldn't mind getting some feedback on a sprite sheet. I've ripped a few collections of icons from lesser-known titles such as the souvenirs and microgames from WarioWare: Twisted! and the characters and Gaddgets from Mario Party Advance, but I didn't think about uploading them here until Daxar's Sprite Sheeter made it really convenient. I've used plenty of sprites from this place for the Super Mario Wiki (and I will be eternally grateful to everyone here), but this is the first time I'm uploading anything here, so I wanted to know if I was doing anything seriously wrong. So far, I've only done a sheet for Twisted's microgame icons; I don't want to spend time on all of them before finding out I wasn't doing something right. I'm probably being more cautious than I should be, but better safe than sorry and whatnot. I'm mostly concerned with the stuff I did with GIMP afterwards, like the heads next to each character's name and the credit tag at the bottom.

i made these at work with 0 references ( a dumb and bad thing for me to do ) and i was thinking of dragging my dead ass back to pico-8 here and maybe trying to do something with them, but they need a little c+c especially on animations as far as where i'm going, standard limited palette from the Super Gameboy 
i'm not a very good pixelartist but

this is my last art outing attempt in my life i think while i'm here, and i want to make it count this time and see if i can finally do it

Yeah, so, this game has exclusive content not featured in it's Wii U counterpart. I'm fairly certain this little detail frustrates and annoys gamers and rippers alike. So, here I'm hoping we can make some progress towards ripping from this game properly. With any luck it will not be as ridiculous in nature as it's Wii U counterpart, but knowing how things go with this sort of issue I doubt it. Anyway, I've got a link here to the main archive of the game and it's corresponding index file. Any help would be most appreciated.

SMBZ:RX - Credits roll animation

This was done in two days, uploaded on YouTube late Friday night, and shown by some. Now it's time to share it on this forum.

This is a credits roll animation I did for my Super Mario Bros. Z continuation, Super Mario Bros. Z: resRXion (pronounced "resurrection"). It got its inspiration from the second ending to Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and like said ending, it is set to "Let It Out" by Miko Fukuhara. I hope you all like it.

I was interested in the King of Fighter's voice files for awhile but have been stuck on what to begin looking at.

There are a large number of folders and files that may contain what I'm looking for but I'm having no luck with finding tools to open them.

hello all,

i was hoping someone might be able to please help me to get the three precursor ottsel models from jak 3?

i've been trying to do it myself, but pcsx2 will not run on my laptop when i have any video plugin set to hardware, and when set to software nothing is extracted at all.
i don't currently have access to a desktop that it could work on, so i'm a little stuck Sad

if someone can please help me it would be very much appreciated Smile

Wanting to rip sounds from a PS2 game I don't own

I'm wanting to rip high-quality sound files (Namely voice lines) from a game of my childhood: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3 for PS2. I have the program necessary for ripping PS2 sounds (PSound), however, there's one problem.

I don't own a copy of Ty 3. Nervous

I tried downloading an ISO ROM of the game and scanning for sound files in PSound, but this process takes forever, and I don't wanna wait that long. Is there another way to rip sound files from a PS2 game if you don't have a physical copy of it? Like, are there any other programs I can use?

I'm asking this because I wanna rip voice lines from this game really really badly, but don't wanna record game footage with background SFX. Very Sad

There are some games I want to rip that use the RenderWare RWS format. However, the only viewer/converter I can find for said format is mere source code, and I don't know how to compile it.

Could someone please help?

Is vertex shading allowed on model exports?

As some model formats, like FBX, can do vertex shading exports, I thing.

Mostly because I spent a couple hours doing this, as someone sent me a clean Conker model rip, something I struggled to rip myself right, vertex shaded it myself with heavy reference on the actual model. Not 100% accurate, but it looks pretty decent.

Came here to get a sprite sheet for Arthur from the arcade version of Ghosts 'n Goblins but after noticing frames and entire animation sets missing, I made a new sheet. I still need to double-check my colors to make sure everything still matches the game palatte, but I figured since it is my first sprite sheet, I'd upload it here to make sure it is cool before submitting. I did all the work using Mame.

Hello everyone,

Long time observer, but first time posting hoping to make some contributions for all the amazing models the community has provided. 

I am a fan of animal based models, and have been trying to rip out animal models from mobile games (Android/Ios) such as Deer Hunter 2014, Jurassic World: The Game and Jurassic Park Builder for personal use. These games have incredible 3d models, decent animations and great texture that I believe this community would benefit from. 

I've tried my hands on ripping Deer Hunter 2014 (Android) through their kinda obvious <animalname>.unity3d files but have not been able to get a dae, obj or 3ds file. Using Unity Studio or Disunity, the best I can achieve is an FBX file with lots of animations but seems impossible to view/edit in Unity nor convert for other software to use (eg Blender, Cinema 4D etc). I've looked through the entire forums including the popular "Sonic the Hedgehog ripping thread" that have some insights on decompiling .unity3d but that is as far as I could go alone. 

Thus my main question is does anyone know how to convert .unity3d to .obj or .3ds format? 
I have some spare time this week and hope to provide a more diverse animal model resource base. Thanks.

I recently ripped Godzilla90's from Godzilla Save the Earth, but i don't know how to unflatten it
and make it appear in Blender after converting it to an Obj file

Was really glad people liked the sounds I've been able to contribute to the site.
Though after recently getting back in the ripping mood and looking back on those past sounds,
I knew I could do better.

---PC---
*  Doom/Doom II
* Quake
* Final Fantasy VII (2)

Was kinda surprised Doom wasn't already on here tbh. This rip is from Doom II and should cover both
games, though I'm not certain if the original Doom had exclusive sounds or not.
Quake was already on the site, but only included sounds from the shareware episode.
FF7 is an OLD rip I did back when the game came out for pre-XP Windows, and only now noticed some
sounds are cut off. Hope to possibly update this one in some fashion in the distant future.


The following collections were updated on September 1st, 2016:

***Technical Rant***
All of these sounds got a 0.05 second of silence added to the end to prevent playback cutoff.
Excess silence was trimmed from the beginning of sounds that needed it (Gunstar Heroes).

Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania were reripped altogether to be quieter and clearer.
Most other sounds were made quieter as well.

Missing sounds were added to Ninja Gaiden and Streets of Rage 2.
The former was previously ripped from an .NSF instead of the actual sound test, which I only then
realized going back to it was missing the iconic enemy/container explosion sound. For shame! Tongue
The latter now has the crowd sound from the Stage 4 Boss arena which isn't part of the sound test.

The main conflict with redoing these came with the Genesis sounds, some of which sound vastly
different in Kega Fusion instead of Gens. So I decided to compromise and include the Gens versions
of sounds with the new Kega rips where applicable. Gunstar Heroes however was done exclusively in
Gens since too many of it's sounds differed between the two, with me preferring the Gens versions.
***End Technical Rant***

Phew...that's all for now. Hope you enjoy, and hope to bring more to the table in the future

Apparently the servers were down for quite a bit today. Did Hurricane Hermine knock 'em out by any chance? I figured because it's just rolling into the east coast I felt somewhat that the main servers resided there.
