Battle Revolution .fsys files

0
0
Pokemon Battle Revolution has many .fsys files that I'd like to get sounds from. I've tried to use gcfsysd which extracts two files, one ending with a .000 file extension, the other ending with a .001 file extension. I haven't got a clue how to use these files.

I've read that these particular files contain not only the attack sounds, but the attack animations too. How do I separate the sounds from the animations, and how can I convert the sounds into .wav or .mp3 format?

I've attached an example file.

[PAID] Looking for a few battle voices from Disgaea

So I'm trying to find Priere's english battle voices (DLC character) from Disgaea, preferably from Disgaea 4 but the others would be fine as well. It'd be greatly appreciated if anyone would help me rip them or if they happen to have them just post em here, it's not much but I could pay $10 for the trouble. She looks and sounds like this btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBimOoaOUpY (starting at 0:57)

Ripping from LEGO Island 2, many textures are strange

For some strange reason, about every model has a strange UV map. Either, it inverts, or if it's a ripped .WIB, some models will show the whole face, instead of the main face. (or whatever has a .WIB )

Hello everyone!

The name's Allaura, but that's a mouthful so you can just call me vleize. I'm 21 years old and spend most of my time playing video games or drawing. I'm a game dev student in my final year (!!!) of school. Ironically that's for 3D, though my passion primarily lies in 2D art, currently of the pixel variety.

I'm really enamored with the idea of making my own game, but that's one really, really (really really etc) long project because I'm crazy stubborn ...driven? and don't want to share the story with anyone else, so I've got to teach myself pretty much everything (yes, including programming. And audio Ouch! )? I'd really like to share my progress with the art though! I'm currently teaching myself how to sprite and animate, as I actually have very little experience with creating actual game-ready sprites. So we'll see how this goes!

I don't generally do the whole forum thing - I've been using sites like deviantart and tumblr for years instead. But I'm pretty stoked to be here - it looks like you guys have a really awesome community!

Anyway, thanks for reading! I hope to share some of my stuff with you soon!

Ripping sounds from Unity Engine

Hello friends, I like to rip the voices of the announcer of the game Beat Stomper, I've unpacked the IOS version and I've found that is a Unity game

I've tested a pair of tools like Unity Assets Explorer and a quickbms script, but I can't get a succesful rip, I get stuck with errors and corrupt files Cry

If someone knows how to do it or can help me, would be nice. Thanks for reading

Caveman Ninja (Arcade) - Unused Enemy?

A saber-toothed cat. I don't remember it being in the actual game nor being mentioned at all.
It has all the frames needed including the alternative ones, being burned and electrocuted.
Which is odd why it wouldn't appear with the complete frame set.
If anyone has seen that enemy before, please let me know. Smile

Anyway, it's the very first sprite rip I've made here and I'm a complete noob.
May I ask what should I do with it next? Unsure

Best rip mthod? Kyle Hyde (Hotel Dusk/ Last Window) DS series

Hello in advance.

As I'm trying to advance in my ripping quest from time to time, I managed to get my job done easier due to the Debug Menu on Hotel Dusk. However I've stumbled under many problems, not only with Hotel Dusk, but also with Last Window, and I would like an answer as hasty as possible.

Question Block How can I rip sprites with ''watercolour textures'' -A sprite with such texture is this:

and when I rip them to my usual methods I get this:
What should I do? I can rip them in colour, but I need to struggle to get a black backround in a nick of time, by switching backgrounds and pause, since I cannot disable the background. And even if I succeed I need to correct it in Photoshop and I guarantee it leaves annoying pixel imperfections. AnimGet or the emulator's screenshot integration simply won't do. These ''watercolour textures'' have an animation too, and it annoys me.

Question Block Last Window Debug Menu - If anyone knows a method to enter the game's Debug Menu, I'm interested. Proof or existence:

I need the menu because just one frame of a sprite gives me like 7 puzzle pieces to arrange back, and this would simplify matters.
I'm open to suggestions.

Very late introduction

I never really formally introduced myself to this community. But hey, better late than never, right?

Anyhow, I will make this introduction brief.

Hi everybody,

I am Yunpol. You may have seen me in RTB's Pokemon XYORAS Ripping Thread from time to time if you frequent there often. As you can easily tell from my title, I do Garry's Mod and Source Filmmaker ports on the Pokemon XYORAS models and I do make GMOD and SFM artwork on my free time.

However, I have also been planning to maybe submit some Pokemon XYORAS models to the Model Resource, but the problem is I don't where to start as I am still a beginner in ripping in general. If anyone can give my tips about submitting models or the submitting process in general, that will very helpful.

Notable Japan-only Games

Some of you may know that part of my job involves creating videos about Japanese exclusive games. The main appeal of the show is for people to learn more about the history of game development in Japan, and I'd like to continue to expand that show even further. I have a list of around 100+ games I plan on covering at some point in the future, and I'm just curious to find out what games you guys personally feel are either notable Japanese releases in some way or particularly obscure, good games.

We've only made 3 episodes so far, but we're expanding that to around 8 before end of the year. We'll keep on going from there.

Let me know your thoughts!

Star Ocean Till the End of Time Rip Issues (Program assistance? I think?)

I've been searching, digging, and trying for the past 2 years to rip just the models from this game, and I'm miserly failing.

I noticed someone managed to extract them in the "models" section, but I can't seem to get any of the programs to extract anything.

I followed every step in the PS2 Model Ripper tread.

I have TexMod up, and it shows the red text telling me to hold down "*" and whatnot, even just hit the "+" and "-", but it won't let me cycle through any textures. It always says "no textures selected".

3D Ripper won't recognize it either. Is it because it's an ISO?

I'm a multimedia and game design major, so I have a decent knowledge of troubleshooting and programming but I'm 100% stuck on this.

My computer has an Asus X99-A mobo, i7 6 core processor, 16 BG Corsair DDR3 ram, and an Nvidia 1080 Founders so hardware shouldn't be the issue.

I've been digging through these forums as well for years trying to see if there was an answer and I couldn't find one.

I apologize for being a new member and asking so much...

Final Fantasy III (PSP) unknown files

Hello everyone!

I was searching a method to decrypt the font files from the PSP version of FF3. The problem is, I tried using GLIntercept with the PPSSPP emulator, but that only shows the letters used at the moment you play the game (for example, if you see the command "Attack", using GLIntercept only decrypts the letters A, t, a, c, and k and nothing more).

I searched then with the UMD Gen in the rom files, and I found a few folders that contains 2D data from the different languages of the version. Inside every folder, there is one called "Font" and inside, the font files used for that language. The files contains a .pgf format, but I don't know how to extract or decrypt them.

Also, I found 2D files with .rssa format, but I the same as bellow. I don't know how to decrypt them. I tried even with the Ravioli Game Tools.

I uploaded some of the files here:
FF3 PSP Font files PGF
FF3 PSP 2D files RSSA

Thanks in advance for the help!

What's the best way to deal with draw distance on map rips?

0
0
For those who rip maps from games via the screenshot method, what's the best way to go about dealing with games that have a short draw distance? (I'm currently tackling this PC version of this game).

I can think of two ways:
1) Create increased draw distance hack (extremely hard to do on a game with limited videos settings, like this one.)
2) Stitch rips together and get lots of duplicate faces (unless there's an easy way to remove dupes?)

Anyone got some other suggestions or comments?

It's like pixel art animation but w/o the pixel art [Animation][Art]

I'm here to post a couple of things that I have done over the past semester while I've been here in Brooklyn.

I'm also making this an art thread because I intend to post some drawings here that I did for another class of mine but yeah, this is a thing
