Hi!

I've been looking around for Cars models but I couldn't find much.
So I have to get the models myself, when I checked the contents of the game I found .bar files I managed to open these.
But now i'm stuck with .bdae files which I can't get openend, I looked around and tried the GT Racing 2 BDAE Importer but unfortunatly nothing happens.

Anyone else have any ideas on how to open these?

The Hobbit 2003

Hello just wondering if it's possible to rip models from the Hobbit 2003 in T pose, with UV co-ordinates and perhaps with all the maps. It's one of my favourite games so it would be very interesting to see all the models properly.

Would be also interesting to hear the audio files.

The games folders files are: .000 and .DFS Using game extractor did not seam to help much but it did bring up some sub files when trying to open them.

Ninja Ripper brought up the meshes and textures but the UVs were missing.

3DRipper had the meshes all distorted from the angle they were ripped in but the UVS worked.

Screenshot of them here after installing the game from the CD :

PSX V-ram help?

Hey, how goes it. I've been following the V-Ram guide here. to the letter when attempting to rip sprites from Breath of Fire IV (there are so many that aren't present in the resource page, and I'd like to fix that) I got as far as changing the file to a 7z, extracting it, and dragging the file onto the main window of V-Ram. However...that's as far as it goes. Nothing loads up on V-Ram and no matter what I do I can't seem to get that image up there. I can't try PVV at the moment because my work net has the romhacking site blocked (doin this there at the moment out of boredom and curiosity.) But what I'd most like to know is, is there some step I'm missing?
Overall what i did is as follows:
Opened up V-ram.
Opened savestates in ePSexe
Dragged savestate (not containing ".pic") to the Vram Folder
Changed file to "something.7z" to test it (without the commas,)
Extracted the file with Winrar.
Dragged the extracted file onto the PSX-Vram main window.
And then, that's where it stopped. Nothing came up and the image that remained is the default image.
So, any help you guys could offer, or a link to a proper guide, would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

The Last Express files statistics and ripper

From what I have gathered based on the files I have ripped from The Last Express, using a toolset found here: (http://wiki.xentax.com/index.php/The_Las...ss_Toolset) Here are the statistics for the general files before converting them using BG2BMP, HPFExt, NISExt, SBE2TXT, SEQExt, SND2WAV applications:

There are 270 cutscenes in total (including the Brøderbund Software and Smoking Car Productions logos in the start of the game), 954 audio files, 225 subtitle files , 1,961 backgrounds, and 8,264 animation files.

If anyone has a copy of the game and is free to use or upload them out of interest, be my guest.

Help to decompress game file with sevenzip lzma compression

the game is: 舞力全开:活力派 (download: adl.netease.com/d/g/justdance/c/gw_pcclient). In the pastes of installed game there is a paste called Setting, in older versions of the game this paste contained files .json that can be easily readed.

But in the current version, the paste Setting contains .z files that cannot be extracted or readed. I want to read the text in the setting files but it is kind compressed. So I decided to use dotPeek to decompile the Assembly-CSharp.dll (an dll from the game) and I discover that it uses sevenzip lzma comprfession, So I got some interesting codes that can be useful to decode these files.

Here is the Setting old and current files https://www.dropbox.com/sh/d64b1pjx3sp8r...uHNxa?dl=0

and here it is the codes I decompiled https://www.dropbox.com/sh/frejsrezln9yc...-Hiaa?dl=0

If someone can help me I will be thankful

Recommend me a good program for spriting

Was hoping I could get some suggestions for good (and preferably cheap to free) drawing programs that are good for spriting. My first attempts where in MS Paint and Gimp (which I'm told is not great for pixel level art)

What do you all use?

7th Dragon rips

I ended up ripping all monster sprites (as far as I'm aware) from 7th Dragon after someone mentioned that there were no rips available (apparently???) I may rip more stuff since the graphics seem to be (operative word: seem) straightforward to deal with (Full colour, no compression.)

Monster sprite rips

Note that I have not played 7th Dragon myself, so I have no clue if this is a full rip of all monsters in the game or not (the developers might have done some weird trick like make the background a monster or something???), so let me know if I missed something! It'll help if you can provide a screenshot or a youtube video of the missing graphics so I can see it in context and figure out how it's stored.

.BMD to .DAE/.OBJ (Wii Model Conversion)

Ciao! My name's Mario, and I'm a new forum member. For a long time now, I've been incredibly passionate about everything Super Mario Galaxy; collecting merchandise, hacking, researching - you name it, I've probably done it. I've lurked around this site as a guest for a while, only now signing up for the sole purpose of adding new models to the Super Mario Galaxy/Super Mario Galaxy 2 category on Models Resource. I know how to rip models and their textures, but the only problem is... I don't know how to convert them to .DAE or .OBJ. I'm aware that BMDview2 allows you to export .BMD models for use in 3DS Max, but... I can't get 3DS Max.

So, what do I do? Is there any simple way to convert .BMD models, or is there a complicated, lengthy alternative? I'm willing to do whatever I can to help out on Models Resource. I'm even willing to collaborate with somebody who knows how to convert .BMD models! I can rip the models and anybody with the required knowledge can convert them and post them up as collaboratively ripped/converted models. Please let me know if this post is undesired, forums have always intimidated me and I'm afraid of upsetting people. Thank you!

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I'm surprised nothing about this game has turned up already. Either that or I'm not looking in the right place. Either way, the organization of the game's files are ridiculously simple, the files themselves however, are not as simple as one would hope. They appear to be similar to the standard 'bfres' models frequently used in Wii-U games, having the extension ".sbfres", but at first glance I'm going out on a limb to say they are compressed in some way, judging by the file size. I was hoping someone would be willing to look into them and help figure out a way to extract the models and textures properly. Here's a sample of an NPC model and it's accompanying textures, specifically for Prince Sidon.

BOXBOY! SFX ripping help!

I am wondering how one would extract playable sound files from the Nintendo 3DS game BOXBOY!, and what programs I would need to do so. If anyone could reply with how to do this and what programs I would need, I would greatly appreciate it!

Anyone awesome enough to rip this? Assuming the sprites are the same on 3DS and Switch - not sure which is easier to rip from.

I would do it but... I have no idea how...

PC, 2006, by AWE Productions along with And Then There Were None. I hope the files will be easy to rip given the accessibility.

Hi there!

Hey, I've used this site for quite a while, and I figured I may as well start contributing some of my own rips to throw into the database.
I have a decent amount of content I will be sorting and uploading relatively soon, specifically Persona 4 Golden content, and I hope you all can find some use out of my uploads!
I may participate in the forums, I may not, I'm not entirely sure I am experienced enough to add anything to the conversation for now in most of these topics. Either way, I exist, I think.

Help Ripping Models from Marvel Disk Wars: The Avengers - Ultimate Heroes (3DS)

I decrypted the RomFS of the game but all i came up across were .tarc files with TBAF headers. When I viewed them with a Hex editor, they seem to have .bch models in them. Can anyone help me figure out how to extract models from these .tarc archives?

GumballYes DisneyJrNo's Sound Rips

Well, I was browsing through the filesystems of several games I have ripped sprites and models from, and I noticed that some of them have sound files that are easy to rip. As the idea of ripping voices from animated film games is as cool as ripping models, I decided to give it a go.

Like my model rips, my sound rips will mainly come from video games that were based on animated movies.

I ripped voices from a few characters from the Bee Movie Wii game.
And all of the main characters and a few minor characters from the Chicken Little GCN game.

Kevin Triebel: The Legendary Shitposter. Who was he?

I used to frequent Pixeltendo many years ago, when edgelords and shitposters were plentiful.

Anyone here remember the Kevin Triebel spriter/shitposter?

I've been gone for so long that I wouldn't know, but I'm just curious as to if it was ever revealed who he was?
Was he a resident user trolling as many suspected? Or is this still shrouded in mystery?

Also, hello, to all my old pals from PT/tSR.

Rigged Model Ripping from PS2 in DAT and HED Help

0

Hey there. So, I figured considering how many obscure games are able to be easily extracted with rigging in-tact.
For me, I specifically have been looking for a way to rip rigged models from Cowboy Bebop: Serenade of Serenity for the PS2. I cannot seem to find any way to retrieve the rig itself, which considering how intricate the models are, including facial rigging and mouth rigging, is quite frustrating. After opening up the ISO, there seem to be 2 major files in both the DAT and HED format which I assume hold the models. Any suggestions to how to go about this? If I can figure this out, I would like to go through and transfer all the models here for everyone's use. I have attempted to manually extract with PSCX2 and TexMod, but honestly the results are not only subpar, it also has the added problem of being rigless. Suggestions on where to go from here?

Cheers,

About Pokemon Shuffle Sprites

0

Hello,

I was wondering, since i saw loads of Pokemon Shuffle sprites around sites in different sizes and resolutions..

Why The Spriters Resource don't have extract any sprite from that game? Is it impossible to extract them from 3DS, iOS and Android versions?

Btw, i had read all sections and since this is a question and NOT a request, i hope this is the right section to ask about this.

Thanks.
