Mega Man Maverick Hunter X Extraction (money opportunity)

Hi folks.

I have a small project and I'm looking for some advance QuickBMS users to help me extract assets from the game Mega Man Maverick Hunter X.
I know that a script to extract models from this game already exists ([color=#005784][size=small]https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-29836.html) but I need textures, sounds and principally animations as well.

Such as Primal Rage II, Vicious Circle and Tenth Degree.

The later is like Street Fighter EX.

I wish they could be resurrected.

Dumping .std and .saf files? (NDS)

Hello!


I'm translating Pokémon Card Game Asobikata DS (Learn how to play Pokémon Card Training DS), also it's my first translation i made.

So, i was happily checking the data of the game, and surprise, there aren't NDS common files, these are others i never heard. most files of the game are .std and .saf images
as i can see, .std files seems are like images, because i can see in /card/ folder there are .std files and that can gave me the idea .std files are like images files.

The issue is i can't find any tool to open .std and .saf files. 

i already asked in GBAtemp and nobody replied it... Cry
i always wanted to translate a game, but now i see it's not easy as i thought. lol

so, does anyone know dumping these files?
I will attach some .std and .saf files as sample.
hopefully someone can help me!! Shy  and thanks for taking you time for helping me!

Fire Pro Wrestling: World Ripping project

Ok, so fire pro wrestling world came out on steam. If you've never heard of fire pro wrestling, it's ok. The series has an extremely robust and MODULAR SPRITE BASED Character creation suite. You can quite literally make any character you want (from comics/movies/games/sports/etc) with all the body parts available. A full archive would be a very useful tool for any game designer, hobbyist, or someone who just loves sprites.

Moving on, this version of the game was built on the unity engine. Using the Unity Assets Bundle Extractor 2.0 from this link: https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread...-ExtractorI've finally had some success ripping FPW body part sprites. Problem is, there are a literal TON of sprites to rip, and the method is easy but tedious as all hell. Would anyone be interested in helping? I'm currently ripping the thigh sprites. Near as i can tell, the parts are all broken down into:

1. head   (head and neck)
2. chest   (upper torso)
3. waist   (abdomen and lower torso parts)
4. thigh   (from hip to top of knee) I'm currently well into ripping these.
5. calves (from knee to ankle)
6. upper arm (from shoulder to top of elbow)
7. forearm    (elbow to wrist)
8. hands
9. feet

Anyone want to focus on another body part? With enough people involved we could have this done in no time. 

Please note: Opening the sprites in something like MS Paint will display some funky looking results. to fix that, I use irfanview to open the sprite sheet, then copy it. From there, I open it up in MS Paint, and paste the clean image over the funky one. save, and now you've got a 100% clean image. There are certainly better ways to do it, but this method works for me.

3d animation apps for android?

Does anyone know of a 3d animation app for Android that's similar to 3ds Max or other animation programs (Blender, SFM)? It doesn't have to be from the Google Play Store.

By the way, I know about Iyan 3d (an animation app), but, I'm looking for an animation app that can support multiple textures and has facial animation which Iyan 3d doesn't have.

Any help at all is appreciated.

I really loved the Namco System 2 arcade system.

It got a slew of arcades in the late 80s to the beginning of the 90s.

I wish Phelios, Burning Force, Dirt Fox, Mirai Ninja, Finest Hour (that's the 1989 shooter) and Ordyne made it to the United States.

But then again, Steel Gunners 1 and 2 are fun.

Hello, I'd like to get the model of Tetsugoro's car from Silver Jiken for Playstation one and convert it to .obj or .3ds. I've scanned the cd image file and found 1 .TMD, size 13 kb. I tried importing it to Milkshape but when I do it, it says ''Found out of range normal index (-1) in object #0'' and if I try to import ignoring the error message, it says ''Encountered premature end of file (file is propably corrupted)'' and it fails to import. Neither did Resident Evil EMD viewer accept the model. So I presume the file is encrypted/compressed? How would I go about of getting the file be importable..

Ninja Ripper and Bluestack

I've seen people (from sketchfab on) who are able to use ninja ripper and the android emulator Bluestack.  I've seen the rips they make and they are very clean and great. That said I've asked over and over again if these authors could tell me how to use ninja ripper with bluestack so I could do my own ripping and well none of them ever reply. I've burned through Google trying to find threads on it and so far have come up empty (maybe it's just me who knows.) 

 so for those that know please can someone tell me how to use ninja ripper with bluestack. some games are going away soon and I want to rip as much of them as I can before they won't connect and thus won't play anymore. thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Hello,i just got into character modeling, and im wondering if anyone knows of any good ios ripping tools. i wanna get the model for the Lin Kuei character from Mortal Kombat X, but i dont know of any ios ripping tools. if anyone can redirect me to a thread with information, it'll help me greatly

im not requesting any ripping software, merely asking a general question.

As you can see, the SpongeBob model has rather strange lightning. It's the cutscene model, and the whole scene I ripped in all had this
effect. Yes, I removed doubles and recalculated.

So, Nintendo Switch models are now dumpable. How do we do that?

Recently saw that somebody dumped Min Min's model from Arms and ported it to SSB4 Wii U (https://youtu.be/Tm-zD59-HO8) and now it has me wondering... how can we dump models ourselves?

Hey, guys! I'm new here, and I just had a question about which of the following, if any, would I be allowed to charge commission for?

(By "Existing Character", I mean a character that's already existing and not one of my original characters; e.g. Mario, Sonic, or Spider-Man would be "Existing Characters")

1) Rigging an existing character to an original boneset
2) Rigging an existing character to another existing character's boneset
3) Vertexing(i.e. Model Editing) a model of an existing character
4) Adding something(e.g. An original hat, or sunglasses made from scratch, etc.) to an existing character
5) Editing textures of an existing character
6) Recoloring textures of an existing character
7) Model Effects Editing(e.g. Making a model glowing, partially transparent, etc.)
8) Making a sprite and/or pixel art based off of an existing character
9) Making a drawing of an existing character
10) Making a model/textures made from scratch that resemble an existing character
11) Adding a DLC character to my own fangame
12) Ripping models, textures, and/or sprites of an existing character
13) Ripping music
14) Making a GMV video
15) Animating an existing character
