Exporting Pokemon Models w/ Animations

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to get the Pokemon models from Sun/Moon/X/Y/OR/AS with all their animations? I have tried using Ohana3DS and SPICA but I never succeeded in getting all the animations, I have the models downloaded from https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-25872.html I can view the model with its textures and animations in Ohana3DS but when exporting each animation is its own .SMD file, also when importing said files to Blender its a whole mess

I've seen games that have the models with the animations like Ark Survival Evolved: Pokemon I feel like I'm missing something, rarely I see someone asks about the animations.

Hello, I've been trying to crack the .pak files in the PSP (not Vita) version of Gakuen K -Wonderful School Days- (here's a VNDB link of it) and have been getting no luck with it. The .pak files are BGM.pak, Data.pak (Which has bgcmn.dat, thanks HxD, and probably another .dat or two with the character sprites and UI elements), and Voice.pak. I've tried going through Noesis, PakUnpacker, Crage, and Arc Unpacker to try and extract them, but with no luck. Would anyone know/have ideas on how to extract the assets, outside of ripping during gameplay?

Any help would be much appreciated, good luck and thank you!

P.S.- Here's a copy of the BGM.pak and Data.pak

For a while I had this on my mind, so I decided "why not?". The idea is to add rips of new games to the various systems which are currently under the "Other Systems" subsection in order to expand them and maybe get some of those systems promoted. I'll be taking this slowly, and any help is very much appreciated.

Game: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (with Sonic & Knuckles add-on content included).
Sheet: Data Select & Menus.

As indicated in my S3K Ripping Project, I have completed a sheet on the content within the menus in the data of Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles (excluding Competition and Title Screens); this includes Sonic 2's 2-player mode menu, which is in Sonic 3 for some reason. Since the last post I made in that thread, I've fixed and added a couple of things, as the Data Select background was somehow broken in previous images and I missed this.

I have an icon ready, but I'm struggling with transparency - GIMP won't allow me to save in standard image extensions (PNG), so short of putting up an icon with a non-transparent background, I don't know what else to do. Some pointers, please?

I have ripped Throwback Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2 to realise it was miscoloured. I assume this is because it used vertex painting. it shows fine in the viewer so I am curious, is it possible to get the values of the vertex painting?

So I was reading this thread about "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?" and it was really helpful. I was able to fix what was wrong with some of my submissions. But I couldn't fix the most common problem that was holding my submissions back in approval limbo.
reason #3: The sheet is fine, but the section icon isn't.
This happens when ther is no thumbnail for a pending game, or the thumbnail just sucks. when a SHEET is missing a thumbnail, you can either wait for the staff to make one, or you can edit your submission, and add the thumbnail yourself.
Ther is no way to edit pending submissions of the game itself thow, so even if all of the sheets you have uploaded for a thumbnailless pending game are perfect and follow every rule, they will just be stuck in approval limbo (or approval Hell) I'm Evil! and there is nothing you can do about it.
so I sometimes cant get a good thumbnail because everything in all my screenshots is too big to fit, and I don't want to distort it by scaling it down, but that shouldn't be my ONE CHANCE to get the game approved! Angry
Ther are a couple of games that I have created thumbnails for since submission, but I wont be able to use them to get the game approved faster UNTIL THE GAME IS ALLREDDY APPROVED! Angery
Why isn't ther a button to edit pending games just as you would pending submissions? Sad VGResource staff, I beg of you, add such a button. Very Sad add it to the "your pending submissions" Page. Add it to the "Add a submission to a pending game" page. I don't care, just add it! Cry

I've been wondering how long the approval process for sounds added to The Sounds Resource is. I'm getting kind of worried if some sounds I've submitted will be approved or not. I know that some of the admins are busy with several submissions at a time but, It'd help clear my head if I knew around how long the approval process takes.

Is there a way to request a sheet for deletion?

Hi. In the upcoming Heroes of the Storm update, the portraits section got merged and there's no longer "Ink / Sepia / Remastered" Portraits and etc.

Is there a way that I can request a sheet to be deleted? The game now organizes the portraits per game universe (Starcraft, Warcraft, and so on...).

Right now I don't have the sheets ready (because I'll wait for the patch to come in first), but I'd like to know how I'm able to request a deletion, if it's possible.

Been wanting to look into the original game and it's console versions for a long time but I have never gotten the tile viewer for MAME to work properly on MD, nor can I seem to find any tools helpful with PSX/Dreamcast ripping.

There is also a rare PC version but I sadly don't have access to that one. I'm uploading the "GRAPH" bin from the PSX version, hopefully somebody can look into decompiling it?

Ever Oasis GAR Files and Bin Files?

Hello, This is my first attempt at actually trying to Rip models from a Game.
I managed to get the CIA File for the Recent 3DS Release, Ever Oasis.
I converted it and Exported it's contents. Only to find those said contents are all .GAR Files?
What is this file format?
I tried to open them in Ohana3DS. And Yeahhh...That didn't work.

Is there a way to take this .GAR File type and convert it to proper readable files? 
Or are these .GAR Files totally useless?...

If you know what to do, I can supply you with the .GAR Files.

On a side note, there is also a romfs.bin File that packs 792,644 Kb
Is this where the Model's and Textures, Etc are located?
Is there a way I can open the Bin File and view the contents if there is any inside?

It would be nice to see these Models ripped, They are pretty nice!

Arx Fatalis HD with his Friend Skyrim

Hello, one of my favourite game is arx fatalis, a first person RPG skyrim-like but in the underground.
But beside the fact that is one of the best rpgs ever made, this one have actually 2 BIG problems:
- Old wooden 3D graphics (really low poly)
- Small World Map (and relatively short story)
So, is wish of mine fix these problems from years ago,
but i see no one take care of this great game to fix it.

Now, my ideas are relatively two:
1) Estract Arx 3D models, starting from the characters/enemies, edit it, smoothing his shapes and then re-put it in the game.
2) Convert Arx Fatalis in to a skyrim mod, using his textures on skyrim modified models, placing his dungeons somewere in the map, like was a dlc.
(Converting his spells sistem in just a ordinary new skyrim spell)

So, for the first, i need to know what programs i need to do this work, i never re-put models in the games, i don't know how it works...
For the second one, i never do a skyrim mod, but i know that a lot of people do it, so i can help by adapting the textures to the models, estracting the dialogues, and the editing of the models.

For the second thing, i think at a story start where the main character falls in to a crack on the ground after a earthquake and lost his memory (and powers), then return to his life after beating the final boss and exit from the underground world, also freeing the people under there.

Who wish/can help me to make at least one of the project become reality?

(I hope this was the just section of the forum for these things)

Game titles in Red Letters?

I have a couple of questions I wanted to ask you guys:

First off, what does it mean if a game title is in red letters in the Pending Submissions page?
Here is what I'm talking about.

Secondly, are .rar files a better substitute for submissions instead of .zip files? Because I've already read the thread regarding this issue and saw that it takes an incredibly long time to process those.

I was looking for a way to rip these games's sprites and I can't find any tool to help me to it. Does anyone have some idea to help?
Note: the conception file is a prx file and the summon night file is a dat file.

So I created a whole bunch of sprites for a turn based RPG like old school final fantasy games. Wondering what you guys think...
These sprites include:
3 Russian Soldiers, Russian Sargent "Valentine Nightwalker" and Tank Commander Sasha Petrov
2 WW1 German soldiers and Flame Trooper
Captain Lonley's squad (Which contains Captain Lonley, Private Andersmith and Field Medic Davidson)
And 4 Generic Soldiers

Chibi-Robo .dat format (Gamecube)

With some help, i was able to extract the main file of "Chibi-Robo! Plug into Adventure!" for the Gamecube. However, all the files are in .dat format, which suggests this is some kind of archive, containg the models and textures. I read some stuff about Smash Bros. also using .dat format, but i am not sure if they are the same. Are there any tools to extract/convert these files (except hex editors, i can't work with them)? Below are some file samples, if anyone wants to take a look. Thanks.
