I've been ripping background images for Disney's Animated Storybook games but I'm having trouble with a few from The Lion King. Some images I've had no trouble with but others appear to be compressed and don't show all of the pixels. Ive been using Pixeldbg to rip them. The images are stored in .CXT archive files along with the audio.

Could anyone help with this issue? The only options I can think of are to somehow decompress the files or to make the backgrounds appear in-game without the sprites covering them but I don't know how to do either of those things. Any help is appreciated.

Hello! I've been working on trying to obtain Sprites from Trauma Center: Second Opinion for the past few days and obviously.. they have turned out horribly.

Everything I have tried simply doesn't work at all..

I even tried dolphin's texture dump, which makes the sprites come out in Greyscale, so I'm thinking the .tpx files have the palettes for the sprites.

Please help?

So, Sonic Xtreme's map files are in a .def format, is there any way to convert that to an obj?
I can't seem to find anything on the internet about .def files, is this a Sonic Xtreme exclusive file type?

Hi there

I'm Majikiki. The name is basically a fusion of the Japanese word Majikku (which I used as nickname in several forums) and my real life nickname Kiki. It's also the name I use for cosplaying. Yes, I'm a cosplayer, although not for long to this point. But I used to make theatre costumes before doing cosplay (which I wanted to do for so long but I simply didn't have the time to) and I'm still making them.

I came to the VG Resource because I was searching for a 3D model from Samus Aran's Fusion Suit - that's a dream cosplay to me and some day I definetly want to do that. I'm a huge Metroid fan and Metroid Fusion ist one of my favorites. I still have much to learn regarding 3D models. However, I signed up because... Well. First I need some help I guess as I've never done 3D modeling or ripping before. And second... There are some great artists here and you should know that I'm also a little spriting fan. I haven't done this for a long time (guess I'm still a beginner), but I really like it and I definetly want to get better doing it, as well as see other people's work. And third... I think that you should support such a wonderful project (which is especially wonderful for cosplayers like me who discovered that 3D models are sometimes the best reference you can get).
If you want to see some of my sprites, I added two to this post. They're actually from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. I just changed them a little

This is an anime series I am working on with my friends called Medieval 3000. I wanted to do this as a series since I've been watching anime and reading manta. I never wanted to do this alone thanks to my friends.

Medieval 3000 short plot synopsis
It is the year 3000. The world has suffered a thousand years of regression from a
Great Calamity of the past millennium, and now the remnant of humanity has
dissolved into an echo of Medieval culture mixed with remaining ancient technology of the 21st century. Ken Omega, steward of a now lost kingdom on the hunt for a brother that single-handedly murdered his entire family overnight, Elli Shadowheart, a young hunter from a nearby forest realm seeking adventure and a greater purpose, and Crystal Rose, Princess of the thriving kingdom, are drawn together by the red thread of fate. Demons have appeared into the world, and their goal: to destroy all that is left of humankind. Fate has chosen Ken, Elli, Crystal, and a few other companions to wield the power of Rui: ancient spirit weapons created by the ancient ancestors of the 21st century at the time of the Great Calamity with the power to defeat the demons. They are the worlds only hope of saving the world from darkness and rescuing Kens brother, Soul, from the evil that has corrupted his heart.

I'm attempting to extract audio from the Danganrompa V3 demo, but I've hit a wall with trying to convert the hca files I got from converting the awb files I extracted from the cpk. I have tried using hca2wav, but it didn't work, and I don't really know much about hex editing and file headers, so I'm not entirely sure the headers used by the hca files. So,recently i've been trying to rip models from Sonic the Fighters using an emulator named Model 2 and Ninja Ripper,especifically Honey the Cat,but the model comes flat and i can't fix it by simply stretching it in the Y axis,could anyone help?

Hello guys, sorry I interrupting your daily works and/or posted on the wrong section.

I just noticed that the VG-resource wiki has no article update at all since about 3 years ago, and login function of the wiki is currently broken. (it only shows the ip address and not allow to edit the articles even though I mets the requirements.)

So, my question is this: Is VG-resource wiki currently dead?

I have fpk files from Tatsunoko vs Capcom but I am unsure on how to extracts files from it. I know there is a FPK tool but I don't know how to use it. Does anyone know how I can extract the files?

Hey there, so I`ve recently been playing around with trying to rip the models from Danganronpa: Another Episode with Ninjaripper, and i`ve made some progress but there`s some problems I`m having. I can only get the ripper to work if I use the forced rip function, and although I can get the background models and certain parts such as the hacking gun and Komaru`s bracelet to rip just fine, this is what happens to Komaru herself





The mesh sort of explodes, and ends up split across multiple .rip files. This happens to Monokuma too, and even though I haven`t tested beyond the first area I assume it`d happen to any other character model too.

Can anyone help me out? I`d really like to get the models from this game. I could always go into the games files and try that way, but from what I`ve seen the model format for this game (bnc for pc and bnp for vita version) hasn`t been entirely figured out yet so I`m at a loss.

I was trying to add new model on models-resource of Princess Elise the Third of Soleanna from Sonic the Hedgehog(2006) on xbox 360 section,but adjusting image with specific image resolution picture is annoying to me.It seems your website don't support .mmd and xna lara .pose files if I want to upload 3D model.I wish to learn myself I hope Blender despite 3DS Max can support models upload on models-resource.com in future.

I'm about to finish up work on a Crash Bandicoot model, but depending on the answer to this next question I'll be spending a lot more time adding animation frames...
Has anyone here exported vertex animation to a Collada DAE before? I want to know if it's possible to convert shape keys to key frames to a COLLADA export in Blender.

I've lost interest in doing any game rips, and I feel like I've not really done anything since I've joined. I don't need to be part of a community I have nothing to contribute to. If any admin would, I would like to have my account deleted so I could forget it ever existed, I'm also ashamed of the idiocy of my forum posts, so I'd like if those could be deleted too, so I can move on. I feel like I have no real value, and what's even the point in being in a community just to do absolutely nothing to contribute to it? I ripped a 3D character from The Penguins of Madagascar Wii but this file has a .RES format, no .BRRES. It also happens with PS3.
How can I extract it?
