Sonic The Hack Ripper

Hey guys look I'm not dead. Might be posting some more rips in the future since the site allows stuff from hacks now, so might as well throw my hat into the ring. So, enjoy Atomic Sonic. Might update him with some credits on the sheet but since I already have all the sprites ripped, might as well just post it here now. Probably can get around to that later. Currently working on also ripping Sonic South Island Warped.

the games like "Digimon World DS、 Digimon World Dawn & Dusk 、Digimon Story: Lost Evolution 、Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Red & Blue"
How to extract the pictures from the .NDS file?
I've been researched how to extract pictures from NDS games for a long time...I don't know whether it's extracted from the template layer of the simulator or need other tools ?
I really want to extract pictures(icons and sprites)from digimon's NDS games. But I really don't know how to do it.

Hi. I just wanna some help about rip sprites from Shadow War of Succession.
I extracted the CD Files on a folder and there are 4 files.
Most probably that the sprites are on the .IMG of the game. I tried to open the .IMG file as a .zip file but it doesn't work.
Can someone help me with this please?

The Sonic Boll thread

There's a fangame called Sonic Boll that recently updated to version 1.7, which is drastically different then prior versions. The basic premise is that it's worlds 1-1 through 6-4 of Super Mario Bros., but you can either use modern moves (ground pound, wall jump, spin jump) or play as a Sonic the Hedgehog character. Additionally, you can switch graphics, music and sound effects, and it's a very modular feature. (e.g. you could play as Fang the Sniper but with the levels using Super Mario Bros. 3 Graphics and music)  It has a small community, but it's somewhat of a niche appeal right now. Just posted this thread because there's no mention of it anywhere on this forum, even though custom sprites are rather common here. While the graphics can be swapped, there are five 'base' characters: Mario, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Mecha Sonic (The Sonic the Hedgehog 2 variant). Some default 'skins' (as the alternate looks are called) such as Ashura, and Wechnia, and even some fan characters (albeit only memetic ones), and there is even an Eggman skin for Mecha Sonic, I kid you not. I've been making some skins myself, so I made this thread to discuss the game...and to show off a bit.

I'll show pictures of one skin for now, but to raise interest (because I pretty much never get listened to. Ever.) and because I'm too lazy to decide myself, I'll take poll votes.

Why did I self-parody a couple times there? I'm not feeling all to well. November has not been very kind to me so far.

What to do with models in .ACT format (old Disney game)

I have a copy of an old Windows game called Mickey Saves the Day: 3D Adventure, and I went digging in the files, and managed to find nearly all the character models as .act files, along with .skl and .scc files (and .bmp textures). I did a lot of Googling, and as far as I can tell, the format isn't used anymore, and heck if I could find any programs that support it that I could still buy or download.

Any ideas how I might convert them to more useable format?

Bubsy the Woolies Strike Back - file formats

I have been trying to find bubsy's model, with no luck. I ripped the entire .pak folder (as mentioned in a previous post) which gave me all the sprites, music, voices from Bubsy and even leftover animations from the Giana Sisters - Twisted Dreams. No bubsy model in sight though, and Plenty of files seemed to small to contain it. the only formats i do not recognise are .x86, .bin.win32, .gfx, and .block . If it helps finding what they are, it uses Havok. If you can help me with recognising these formats and maybe programs that can help rip them please tell me. I might submit all the so

After learning that making a new thread everytime I rip something is dumb, I decided to compile all the rips I've done so far into 1 thread!

Just decided to do something else than sprite ripping on the site. First thing to show is Bubsy's voice from the SNES version of Bubsy: Claws Encountered Of The Furred Kind.
(Also uploaded it to a pending version which didn't have a thumbnail.)

PNG images, but I can't open them

Here is an example:
https://www.file-upload.net/download-127...0.png.html
Size: 17,6 kilobyte.
File extension: PNG

This is from Orc Castle, a PC game. Apparently, the game uses a special PNG version (?) to hide its graphics. Manual Pictures, cursors, etc. are displayed, but the rest can't be opened.

Is there any trick to it?

Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3 Model Ripping Problem

0
0
As of a year ago model ripping for both Crash 2 and 3 is 100% possible through Werenhuis Model Ripping Program but the problem with this program (and probably with a lot of other games like spyro) is that most of the models are heavily Vertex Shaded so making 100% accurate model rips with only textures and such will be a bit of a problem. Unlike some Crash 1 models these have a lot of gradients making the simple process of Texture Baking a bit hard, not to mention that most models use both vertex shading AND normal textures. I've tried submitting the Scrubbing Bubbletron from Crash 2 a while back, before we had 6-item model export, but it was rejected as it was in the .ply format and it takes a bit of work to make it look right.

So I would really like some help to somehow put the Vertex Shading and Textures together into one larger texture or at least some help on converting it into a format acceptable to the resource.

Also before anyone asks I did try Texture Baking and it really doesn't work with these models and if you need any models/model data just ask
