Question regarding submitting content from chinese games

Lately, I have taken a liking to browsing chinese android game sites and extracting some of the games content, sometimes it's as simple as unpacking the apk and extracting some ccz files, other times the games are made in unity which, as far as I know, make asset extraction impossible.

Some of this games have really gorgeous art that deserve to be archived for everyone to see, this one for example ( http://android.d.cn/xiaoqianlaile ) has beautiful art that's a shameless rip off Muramasa (they are chinese after all Tongue ).

Now, my question is, should I submit these? How should I call the games? the romanized name in the url? the google translation of the name or the chinese characters?

Also, does anyone knows how I can batch extract pvr files from texture packer pvr.ccz files? Currently I use Watto Game Extractor to take them out, and then save as .png with PVR Textool; this proccess is painfully slow but I don't know any better, so help would be appreciated.

And another question, I have some .png files that won't open, my educated guess say that they don't have a header, the program pixrecovery manages to fix roughly 10% of the files, which is a bit too low. I tried fixing them with hex but the truth is that I'm kind of a moron and I don't really have an idea of what I'm doing; I attached a couple of these files if anyone wants to take a look at them and give me a bit of a hand on how to fix them.

Stunt Race FX (SNES) Track Maps

Hello fellow spriters.
For about the longest time I've been wanting to do a rip of all the track maps from the SNES game Stunt Race FX. However, at the moment I am missing three maps:

*The tutorial track, only available before completing any of the three "Speed Trax" series of races.
*The map for King's Forest (Expert Class Round 1)
*The map for White Land (Expert Class Round 3)

The first I cannot acquire as I do not want to risk losing my save file, and the last two I cannot rip as on ZSNES; the maps of the two courses do not scroll on-screen thanks to the fog effect present.

iOS Sprite Ripping

Hello, I have a question about sprite ripping for iOS.

How do I convert XCode compressed PNGs into normal ones? The application I'm trying to rip is Danmaku Unlimited. Since I am using Windows, I cannot find a program that will work on Windows.

Actually, I'm trying to take only one sprite, which can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/sw9462g8bj..._atlas.png

Also, how can I convert them back on Windows?

If I cannot do this on Windows, can someone else do it for me?

In my spare time I've been working on a game that combines elements of Castlevania, Ducktales, and Super Mario Bros 2. I've been doing some of the artwork, but the level artwork was commission for a friend who needed some money. Besides that, I've also been doing concept art and all of the level design.

The setting of the game is inspired by the American mid-west and the gold rush.

I've also felt that I can speed up production by scouting for talent for anyone who would be interested in paid work to improve sprites or make new ones. The main goal is making an authentic looking NES style game, so everything is being done in the NES limitations (with rare artistic license). Right now this is a game being done when I have time (or just plain feel like it), so sprites would be commission.

This is the only spriting community I really remember or know about, so I figured this would be a good place to start seeking help.

These were early tests made in Clickteam Fusion 2.5, but the game is being considered to moving to Construct 2 for its Wii U compatibility. The Castlevania style physics will also probably be done away with for something more along the lines of Zelda II or Super Mario Bros 2.

This 2 games have a bunch of sprites, and they are hard to rip.
Mostly because I just can't find any in the games, only textures and models, which doesn't have to do with the actual game at all.
The only method that I found to work was the hard ripping one.

So, if you can, please help me with this. Its kind of a big project and I can't do it by myself. I managed to rip at least somethings, but its still nothing compared to what I want.

NOTE: The layers of this game are pretty damn weird and that could mean a bigger challenge.

Hello !

Lately, I just had a crazy idea of comic and it was time for me to test my own FF6-styled Yoshi sprites.
For those who are not familiar with FF6 : Terra, the protagonist, was controlled by the evil Kefka with a Slave Crown to turn her into an Imperial weapon. When Kefka first tested it, he asked her to wipe out soldier and so, she wiped out 50 of them within 3 minutes.

And now, what if Kefka controlled someone else with as much potential as an imperial weapon and that isn't necessarily from a FF universe ... then Yoshi came into my mind.

PS : [MyNotSoInterestingLife] I hesitated a little bit before posting or even making this comic because my self-esteem isn't very high. Nerdy kids like me (with even a disability in my case) were easy target for bullies at school and I'm still struggling with the aftermaths such as anxiety. So it doesn't take much to make me doubt about if an idea is good or not because I'm always afraid that it wouldn't. [/MyNotSoInterestingLife]
So if this attempt passes the test, I might make more comics as new ideas come into my mind.
