    Hi guys,

    I'm a software engineer and I've decided as my side project at work (20%) to build a browser based game and build an engine for it as well. I'm looking for a designer and generally a person to brainstorm some (some action RPG multiplayer online game) and help me build it. I'd do all the coding / development, just need a person to design stuff for us and help with the story line etc. If you are interested and want to have some fun, please hit me up and let's start the journey.

  • I'm trying to see about ripping the sprites of Clockwerx, a PC puzzle game. Most of this is me just needing the graphics for the clock hands for a personal project of mine (It's a secret thing but I'll need the sprites for it), but figures it wouldn't hurt to organize a project for all the sprites to be ripped if I'm gonna look into busting this game open.

    Thing is, most of the game objects themselves seem to be contained in a .BIN file, which I can't figure out how to open in. Yes, I tried WinRAR, 7ZIP, and even converting the thing to an .ISO didn't work. So, uh, lord knows what to do there. And by lord, I mean "probably someone here who would be more than capable of figuring it out compared to me".

    At any rate, anyone wanna help me out with this?

    Hey guys,

    I'm working on making a shadowbox from Earthbound and have been utilizing the sprites available to reference while I create vectors of them, however for the life of me I can't find the sprite for the mailbox in front of Ness's home. I'm referring to this page: https://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/earthbound/ . Could anyone point me in the right direction?

    I extracted an apk file and it gave me a bunch of .mbn files so I don't know how to open or extract that type of file. How can I extract images from the mbn file?

Noticed that music was missing for Mega Man 1 through 6, so I'll likely focus on that first, then maybe work on getting sounds for the Game Boy/Color section, seeing as that section is severely lacking in sounds...

    I don't know if this was explained a while back or in some other thread (and if it was, please let me know) but personally I would love to be able to see what submissions are pending.
    Pending Games are visible, but it'd be nice to know a head of time what models/textures/sprites/sounds are waiting to be approved to avoid multiple people accidentally submitting the same thing or people waiting indefinitely to see if something shows up.

    For example, GoldenEye 007 & Perfect Dark have editors which allow you to extract all the models & corresponding textures but I have no idea what is currently pending, if anything even is pending. I don't want to waste time submitting a model that is already being pending & just hasn't been approved yet, but on the flip side I don't want to see the games empty just because no one is submitting any models when all the models can be extracted from the roms directly.

    This would not only help submitters but also viewers too because then we wouldn't have the big problem of having to explain in the comments if something has been submitted and just needs approval.

    I need a hand in ripping these darn things, I can't find the location of the models using Wiiscrubber.
    I know how to decompress the onz's but whats the point if I can't FIND the right onz.
    I know some of you will be able to help me out, and if you can, please do, I really want these stage models.

  • So I think it's been obvious for some time that The Binding of Isaac (Yeah, referring more to Rebirth/Afterbirth/Afterbirth+) is missing a lot of sheets or have some that are incomplete.

    A LOT of items (at least ones that give graphical effects to Isaac), the familiars and transformations are absent. There are also sheets for the characters that are missing one or more things (Eden, Azazel, Lilith and Keeper's sheets).

    I was originally planning to go ahead and revise Eden's sheet, but of course there was one problem, which was the hairstyles. They were absent on the current sheet (along with the other skin colors), though the issue concerning them is that when I was going to add the hairstyles to the sheet I've started there were a LOT that I had to put; as in, there were exactly 40 hairstyles for just one character (to be honest, I wish I was kidding when I say that). I put it to the side at the time and went ahead to revise Azazel's instead (his Brimstone charge, boss screen, and level transition sprites were missing; arguably an easier fix than Eden). I might revisit fixing Eden's potentially; for now though I'll be focusing more on Lilith and Keeper (nothing much was left out other than their boss screen and level transition sprites, so it's not a major revision).

    But in the meantime, here's one of the few sheets I put together and waiting on:

    That's all I got to say currently, anyway. I'll probably update this at times, but I don't think it'd be necessary.

    Hey..I'm Looking for AVP Evolution Models to be ported to garry's mod..
    I mean Here's what Predator should have for bodygroups/skins:
    Bodygrouped masks
    Bodygrouped armors
    Bodygroups wristblades
    Skins
    Weapon props

    Now, Alien should have:
    Different ragdolls for each Xenomorph, including Alien Queen and Praetorian
    Ragdolls:
    Runner
    Drone
    Warrior
    Beserker (Yes, there actually is a Beserker Alien in the game.)
    Predalien

    Hello!

    I've been looking to rip some audio from a .hack Quarentine cutscene. I have a CCS file for that cutscene, which is effectively the storage format CC2 uses for any games that run on the .hack engine. When I open it up in the CCS model viewer I'm using, it actually recognizes PCM audio at a specific Offset, providing the following info:



    Duplicate sub object definition for object 0:
        Type: 8704(PCM Audio) at 0x158CC
        Originally defined as Type: 8704(PCM Audio) at 0x58B4
    Duplicate sub object definition for object 0:
        Type: 6144(Shadow) at 0x290DC
        Originally defined as Type: 8704(PCM Audio) at 0x158CC

    It appears that the audio is located at offset 0x158CC, however I can't seem to find anything that provides any output when I run say Audacity and have it check the file at that output.

    I decided to start ripping sprites from Kim Possible 3, and asked the admins about posting the opening, due to it being bits of the TV show's opening and treading into possible grey areas, and they told me to get community feedback. Should this be posted to the database or not? Here's a link since we can't upload mp4 to the forums. Note: It's about 11 and a half seconds long, and I recorded it at 60fps.

    Hello everybody!

    I'm DibujanteTM, a "cinema artist" who plays The Movies game. I don't know if you ever heard about this sensational game, it gives you free ways to launch your own animated movie. Personally, I like these modding stuff I found in your site, specially at models section. Although I don't know how to animate in external software (Blender, c4d, 3dmax, maya...) and I'm really a beginner in riggind models, I know how to convert the models into The Movies, so I can film my own projects with them really easily. 

    From here on, I will add vg-resource and these mod submitters into my project credits. I just wanted to leave a message here, you have a wonderful site and it helps me very much!

    I wish you keep on updating the site and uploading more models. Thank you very much for all of this.

    I am trying to rip models and animations of the astromons from the game Monster Super League. I was able to rip the models with Unity Studio and open it on Maya, however I can't say the same for the animations.

  • Hey, I know this is on several forums but I'm still struggling with getting the models out of the game, I've managed to use a quickBMS script for the textures and extracted the .cpk files, my problem is with getting the .dat files to extract, the MGRR link to download is down, upon finding one on the internet, it doesn't give out any extracted files when saying it's done extracted, hence why I'm asking here, if someone knows how to extract the models from the game, preferrably to extract the .dat files.
