I had just downloaded the Nintendo 3DS Model Viewer, and files of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, but I need some help finding Nabooru's model in these files.

Can you help? I'm just infatuated with this Gerudo Sage.*

She looks like this in the photo I attached below.

Klonoa Beach Volleyball?

So i'm taking a break from klonoa 2 and trying to get models out of Klonoa Beach Volleyball instead, Specifically Klonoa and Guntz, i have managed to get the data out of the game and get models using psxprev, but so far only stages have come out right, i havent found a trace of character models, also i got the models textures but the alpha channels are wrecked to hell but i can fix that. i found most if not all of the models are either in tmd or pmd formats. I can send the image.bin which is where i got the models from or even some of the actual model files i exported as objs or the one batch of .ply's i did. I really want these guys and if possible klonoa's taunt animations (they're freaking hilarious.) Also i was told there's a way to rip psx models using a emulator called no$psx, which i happen to have on my computer, does anyone know how to go about this? i know how to open the vram viewer on the emulator but what i can actually do with it.

Wind Waker Map Ripping

Hi guys,
I want to rip some maps (3d maps) from tLoZ: the Wind waker (gamecube) I have already spent countless hours trying to find a guide that shows how to get the map files into a format that i can convert into a .mdl file (which is my end goal, i want to port a windwaker map to the source engine), but have not found anything really helpful.

What I've already done:
-extracted the map files from the iso
-unpacked them; received bdl, btk, dzb and bzr files
-converted the main .bdl file into a .3ds file and a bunch of .tga files

What I want to do/ where i need help:
-get the model of the map with all the textures (not seperately)
-convert it to a .mdl file (or find another way to get it into hammer editor)

Any help is appreciated.

Hey all. Even though I'm unable to get the 'obb data', there's still some info I was able to get from the base APK. I wasn't sure what to make of it, as most of the files included are far too small to be anything worth bothering with. However the formats are clear, and I was hoping someone here could get the obb data for it so we can extract models and textures from it. I personally want to get the model of the Planesgorger. Anyway, here's all I could get from the APK

archive.psarc file for corpse party?

so ive gotten into corpse party blood drives files and found 2 of these archive.psarc files and a resources.assets files which i opened using a program to open unity .asset files but it woudnt open it no matter what i did so im turning to the arcive files and was wondering if the script used for noesis for playstation all stars battle royale works with any other vita games possibly? this game cant be to hard to crack since this was the creators first attempt at making this series in 3d, so it wont be like seriously insane in difficulty to rip, someone already got models from it but they arent rigged. Is there any other way to open these psarch files possibly? there's also a folder called package that contains about 6 bin files. once named body, another named head and so forth, i dont know what those would be for though. http://prntscr.com/jf3t2a however none of these bin files are even a mb in size, so they might just contain data or something. I uploaded the psarc file and the resources.assets file and a eboot.bin file i found and might prove useful.

Hello there, I'm Duck Type and I finally got to register after knowing and using the site for what looks now like 15 year, give or take? As long as I remember, this is one of the oldest sites I remember. Damn.

Should I introduce myself a bit more? I ended up as a programmer by looking on hidden data, bugs, spritesheets and misc.Seeing how a game can be dissected is a enriching exprience for someone that has enough curiosity to break them apart, I think?

If I should give a favorite game era? I'd say the 90's and right behind the 80's. I grew up with the regret of having missed out this era of games and sometimes I like to buy one or to games to see how they were back then.

I don't know how to end this post, so see ya later on the forum.

Hey everyone, BigBellies here. I want to show you my progress on ripping models from Crash Twinsanity. I'm planning to rip the big bad chief of N.Sanity Island, Papu Papu himself. Unfortunately, Twinsanity Editor keeps having pieces of his model in separate parts like his belly, feet, etc.

So, I'm afraid I only got his staff. Take a look.

Ripping from Mario Party 4

This is a completely different game ripping topic focusing on Mario Party 4.

I was hoping to learn how to rip the models from this game I had played since childhood, and the model I am focusing on is the Fat Mushroom Genie of the Lamp. However, I feel like I need the right program to rip these specific models and I hate to have to go play through Story Mode on Dolphin and try to use 3D Ripper DX.

So, if there's a tutorial on how to rip models from this game's files, let me know okay?

I am looking to change that. As the games are large (i.e lots of areas, enemies, etc). It would be nice if i could get a group together to rip them.

Trouble with Splatoon 2's BFRES files

I recently got a hold of Splatoon 2's files and decided to rip some models. Using Wexo's toolbox I extracted one of the bfres models (specifically, Callie's appearance during the final boss fight) but I encountered multiple errors upon attempting to rip the model:
-Upon attempting to extract the textures with the bfres toolset I normally use (see https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-28678.html), no files were found or extracted.
-When trying to use a 3DS Max script to rip the actual model, I got an error. (Screenshot: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/3...nknown.png)
What went wrong here, and how do I fix these errors? I've been wanting to rip these models for a while now.

I got the files extracted from Mega Man X7 [PS2], but I don't know what these kind of models are. The archive is full of *.EMI and *.ENG files. Or is it in one of these DUMMY.bin files?

The model I'm seeking for is... How should I describe it? Here's a hint. Yes, you can call me crazy, if you want.

Master System Project

Since there is already a NES Ripping Project, it only makes sense to have a project from its rival the Master System.

The good news already is that a majority of the games already significantly ripped from this console. What makes it even better is because there are less games on the Master System than on the NES, it is possible and a bit easier for tSR to have the complete library. Also there is some variation in terms of the games whether they are shoot em ups, RPGs, platformers, fighters and yes even sports games so its not as restricted to a genre, even a few classics are here.

After some calculation, there are 30 games left until the complete US library is done:

Aerial Assault
After Burner
California Games
Casino Games
Choplifter
Dead Angle
F-16 Fighting Falcon/F-16 Fighter (only US Master System game that runs on SG-1000 mode)
Fantasy Zone 2: Tears of Opa-Opa
Galaxy Force
Gangster Town*
Global Defense / SDI
Golvellius: Valley of Doom
Great Baseball
Great Ice Hockey
Great Volleyball
James "Buster" Douglas Knockout Boxing / Heavyweight Champ
King's Quest (USA)

Monopoly
Paperboy
Parlour Games / Family Games / Party Games
Poseidon Wars 3-D
Power Strike
Rambo III*
R-Type
Shooting Gallery* - WIP
Slap Shot
Super Tennis
Thunder Blade
TransBot

* - Light Phaser game
** - Advertised as a dual compatibility game as in that it works on both the Master System and the SG-1000. Optional.
*** - Unsure whether it is its own game or the JP version of Great Baseball. Lack of info.
**** - That's how its spelt, not a typo.

Luckily for most of the remaining Japanese games they either can be played without any language barrier problems, are baseball games and High School Kimengumi has an English translation patch. Only the Sherlock Holmes game and Tensai Bakabon would have problems with the language barrier due to being adventure games.

As usual, all it takes is one sheet to have its own section.

How come some games are missing?

This is because they are already on the site. Some Master System games re-release to use different accessories so Sports Pad Football and Sports Pad Soccer are there as Great Football and Great Soccer/World Soccer. American Baseball and American Pro Football are on the site as Reggie Jackson Baseball and Walter Payton Football. Some Master System games have a Game Gear version that is on the site that use identical sprites such as Wonder Boy 3: The Dragon's Trap. Some Game Gear games are literally Master System games in Game Gear cartridges, some examples include Castle of Illusion, Out Run Europa and Rastan.

Also while tSR does have a few on the site, the MSX ports are not counted in this project as they are not officially classed as Master System games and many were also on the SG-1000 as well, some with RAM adapters. The exception are the Zemina games as they are cross platform between the Master System [Samsung GamBoy] and the MSX as well as Sieco and FA due to the games are original rather than a company adapting a random game usually from Konami or Compile with the copyright changed or removed. Another reason is that not all of the MSX ports are dumped due to their rarity.

How can I rip from these?

There are two emulators for the system, they are MEKA and Emulicious. Both have tilemap (background) viewers, tile viewers, MEKA also has layer removal if you want to capture. For some games, you may need TileMolester to rip them if the sprites are dynamic but for many of the games, these two emulators are basically what you need. Since the Master System only has two palettes with half for sprites and half for backgrounds (even though some game do have palette cycles and changes), it also means that you will have less trouble finding which is the correct palette. For someone who wants to start sprite ripping, it's a good system to start off with like the NES or the GBA. It is beginner friendly, feel free to join.

Finally, how come you decide to go through the project?

After all 11 years ago, my first rip on tSR was from a Master System game. A long time ago, I was ripping Master System games almost single handedly however got burned out since there was a lack of interest. A passionate ripper came along and did an excellent job ripping from the console. After seeing 200 games on the site, it is a case wow how many games are left to do. It would be a great idea to have a complete library from a console on the site, especially from a console that is sort of well known.

As for rewards, well this is an unofficial project so its mainly more for fun rather than for badges. Now there are no limits.
