First off, let me say I don't expect this character to make it into TFR and I am primarily spriting him for fun. Nevertheless, if I can finish this character, we'll one more TFR-style example and I'll learn a lot along the way! Heck, if I feel like it, I could later turn this guy into a M.U.G.E.N. character. Anyways, here's Bit Rot. He's not a persona or a mascot, but a character I created specifically for TFR. Comments and critiques much appreciated!

Ubisoft: All-Star Smash Fest! (Help Wanted)

Hey, guys. Sorry if I may be puting down a request/advertisement or put it in the wrong section, but I am looking for a team who can help me out with a fanmade game I am working on called Ubisoft: All-Star Smash Fest!.

About the game: Ubisoft: All-Star Smash Fest! is a game similar to SSBB (Smash Bros. Brawl) which features many iconic characters from Rayman, Raving Rabbids, Assassin's Creed, Evolution Worlds, Watch Dogs, Child Of Light, Prince Of Persia, and more! Keep the brawl goin' with Ubisoft, in ONE battle at a time.

Need:
- Custom Sprites (In the style of Super Smash Flash 2 for characters, items, assist characters, and stages)*
- Sounds/Voices/Music (Including your announcer voice, which I might need to send you the line through email)
- Story for the Story Mode in the game (As many chapters you can think of)
- Whatever else you guys might think 'll need, IDK
* if you are doing some of the characters, I will give you a roster and a picture of a character will will select with a moveset, along with the assist characters)

Hello all!
Haven't been here in nearly 4 years, but I thought I should drop by again. I've been messing around with some sound design lately, and this place has been a great resource for finding samples to mess with, so I think it's only fair I post some of what I have that hasn't been uploaded yet, starting with Psychonauts!

This rip only includes the common sound effects in the game (not stage-specific) and the common voices in the game (again, no stage-specific dialogue). I know submission guidelines required complete rips, but with so much dialogue, I'm afraid I would be uploading near 5gb of sounds. Let me know if this submission breaks any rules, and I'll upload the rest of the files.

On a side note, I also have the complete sound pack for League of Legends as well, however, half of the sounds were not ripped by myself. I was wondering is it against the rules to upload them even if I give credit to the original ripper?

I am trying to rip sprites from one of Konami's arcade games "Vendetta", but I can't find any program that can get image data from a rom. I have seen some people do it, someone even ripped sprites from Vendetta but I can't figure out how to do it.

Original TMR Large View Icon Template

When making the new icon templates, I ended up deleting the TMR Large View Icon template by accident, and now I can't seem to find the template to download anywhere.

All of my model submissions have been stuck in the pending stage for weeks now, and I think it may be because of the fact that I don't have a large view icon to provide them with. Does anyone still have the old template? If so, then could you please send it to me? It would be greatly appreciated. Smile

So, I am opening this up since I am drawing more than normal and doing modeling. so I present a drawing of the female Mega Man character I made, Lust. Anyways I kinda like it but at the same time I hate it, very conflicted with it, then again I never like my drawings. I title this "Tell me i'm pretty."

I'd really appreciate if you guys took a look at this. Its something I've been working on with a friend and the idea owner for a while now, and we need someone more competent than I am at sprites. You don't have to do that, but that's the main concern right now. I mainly just want some input.

FusionFall Resurrection Demo 1 Models

First off I am new the the forums and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right or if I am posting this in the right place or even if I should be posting this at all on this site.

With that out of the way I would like to say here is a couple of models in textures from the 1st demo of FusionFall Resurrection. I would like to say that the models need to be slit in to other small models because I used 3D Ripper DX, which rips the everything in a single frame on a map. I can't split the model myself because my computer my computer is low on memory (both harddrive and ram) so I can't do it because the program will crash.

I know I put a request up for these and didn't read the rules beforehand and I apologize for that. So I decided to try to do my own sprite sheet for them and they turned out awesome.

So what's the best way to practice programming? By making a minigame, that's right!

Super Arisa Land is my 'sandbox' for programming. I'll be posting stuff here as I learn programming techniques. Of course, you can play and check it! The purpose of this thread is to have fun controlling Arisa and maybe learning one thing or two. I say maybe because I'm not good at programming. I literally started this today ok

The game is being programmed in Game Maker: Studio. So far there's not much, but you can already have fun controlling Arisa.

Press LEFT and RIGHT to walk;
Press Z to jump;
Press and hold X to run.

I posted a topic a while back about these. I forgot to upload the voices (even if they aren't wanted by anyone.) Emil's and Marta's will be first. I'll post the rest later. Also, If i messed something up with the formatting, or anything please let me know. I uploaded it on the Sounds Resource so it's pending. I'll post when it's finished and when I add the other characters.

Smooth shading with Blender tutorial

I have seen a number of models on the model resource that could use some work in regards to smooth shading. Applying smooth shading doesn't work as well as it should. But there is a solution. For this tutorial, I will be using the Lopunny Model from Random Talking Bush and Mighty Jetters to make it look fluffier. I will also be using Blender 2.70 for this tutorial.

Before we begin, I would like to warn people that I have seen this cause some issues on some models I have experimented on, so it is a good idea to keep a back up of your model around just to be safe.

First off, load your model into Blender. You might see it as a white object. Don't worry too much about the lack of color. The concern of this tutorial is the sharp edges. Start by selecting a flat object. Look for where it says object mode at the bottom of the 3d view window. Change that to edit mode.

With all vertices of the model you want to smooth selected, you should be ready to take on this next part. If they are not selected press the A key until everything is (usually once or twice). In the tools tab on the left side of the window, click Remove Doubles. You'll get a notices about removed vertices. This is a sign you did it right.

This next part is where we finally make Lopunny fluffier. With all remaining vertices selected, click the Shading/UVs tab. Now click smooth.

You'll notice the selected (yellow) portion should look smoother now if you followed the steps in order. If you had skipped the previous step in hopes of making your model look smoother faster, you might not have gotten the results you wanted. Go back and do step 2, that should fix it.

If you find this tutorial useful, I am considering one that involves meshes with holes and lines in them next.
