    I would like to ask if anybody knows how to rip sprites from *.player files from 2D Fighter Maker '95 games (NOT 2K!)

    I'm trying to rip from the Magical Heroines Plus! game (the engine is 2DFM95).

    Well.... i'm kinda desesperated here..

    so, i'm making this comission, i'm offering  100$ to the one that can rip the Winter outfit of Amy rose with the rigg, so as fbx or dae i guess...
    it can be from the Sotchi or Rio one, its the same so one of them will do..

    I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I'm on the right place to ask my question, sorry if I am wrong.
    I'm plannig to create a game that I will possibly post on an app store (google play store), and I was wondering if it is legal to use some of mario sprites to create it. the game will be totally different from the super mario game, these are the sprites that I'm planning to use:

    Yeah... I don't know why either.
    Funny enough, the date is actually a coincidence. I didn't know it was the day of until looking up the names from the Wikipedia article.
    This is not my first dump, but it is my first submission onto the website.

    For some reason, only the women wouldn't dump correctly. The UVs never worked. So, I just ignored them for now. We have:

    • John F. Kennedy
    • John Connally
    • a random Police Officer
    • two random Secret Service members
    For 2004, the models aren't absolutely terrible, but not great. No facial animations or flexing whatsoever. You play as Lee Harvey Oswald and the entirety of the gameplay is scoping in on JFK while he's in a moving motorcade, so these details can't be easily seen anyway. There's also a lot of detail to the pants and lower legs, something you can't really see when they're sitting down (especially the back legs)

    Hello, prestigious pixel patrons,

    I've been working on a project these past several months involving particularly edgy Mega Man X character Vile - all of this being based on an unfinished endeavor from a user on DeviantArt [just some tragic backstory].

    Recently, I've run into a problem of shading (which always has baffled me.), and creating perspective with the movement of the cannon that would sway left to right during the character's motions.

    Is there a reference or tutorial I could be directed to? None of the questions I've asked in the faithful search engines has yielded results, for those quick to mention our dear friend Google.

I've leaned towards 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit era of gaming and have taken a greater interest in it due to my newfound passion for flash animation with sprites. I've also gotten into the habit of revamping Mega Man X sprites in my spare time just for the sake of doing so.

    My ripped model of one of my favorite Heartless, the Fat Bandit got rejected from the first Kingdom Hearts game.

    They accused me of stealing Perseus’ Fat Bandit model that was already submitted but my Fat Bandit model is very different from his or her model.

    His/her had two textures while mine had six textures when I ripped the model from the KH1 Model Viewer and Noesis put together.

    I'm planning to upload a large amount of sound from Grand Theft Auto V to the Sounds Resource but there are a couple things I'd like cleared up before doing so.

    First up, the easy question. What is the size limit? My upload speeds aren't incredible and I'd rather not find this out through trial and error. If there isn't a size limit, is there a certain point at which it becomes a good idea to split archives into multiple uploads (e.g. "Ambience 1/3")?

    Now the complicated one (simple if the answer is a resounding "no"). I understand there is a "no music" rule. This is understandable, for copyright reasons. But are there any exceptions, such as royalty-free music or original music from an old game by a company that no longer exists, or if the game's copyright is in limbo?

    In particular, I recently uploaded the audio for Green Eggs and Ham. A lot of it is less like a video game and more like a short animated movie. Its soundtrack in the files is mixed with the dialogue. See https://youtu.be/OX38TylcjwM?t=59s for an example - what you hear is exactly what the raw files sound like, as the game only ever plays one audio track at a time. Does this exclude it from being a candidate for the website (unless those files are removed, but then the archive would be quite incomplete)?

    Thinking about it, is "no music" the only rule? Would large amounts of dialogue be seen as useless?

    Hi all!

    Recently, I've encountered some trouble with descrambling some Unity-based images and spritesheets that I've extracted using Asset Studio.
    As you may know, many of these sheets tend to come out all cut-up and out of order and not really human readable, see below.

    For an image like this, it can be truly difficult to hand-assemble the picture in a way that is representative of what is shown in-game (see my best attempt below, which left out some small transparent edges that I couldn't faithfully position).

    Sure, while this looks absolutely fine and the little edges could go easily unnoticed, I just can't brush off the fact that this is technically incorrect. So, is there a way to extract a script or something from the game files that properly assembles these images, or even a standardized algorithm for reassembly?

    Hey, guys. I really need help. There's this game that has all the casts of Azumanga Daioh. They look like this.

    I wanted to extract them and use them as models to put in 3D animation programs like Blender and such, but it wasn't easy as I expected to be. I had to search a lot of times and most of them confused me or got me nowhere. I'm not that smart with all this PSX technology except the fact that I learned that Playstation games have no z-depth or buffer I think. (Or is it the other way around?) I tried jPSXdec, but it only ripped the textures and the sprites like the ones I saw on the Spriters Resource, but sadly not these.

    The Only Folders That Came with the Game were 3 Folders Containing
    Backgrounds,Music,Voice Clips
    The game was Made in Game Maker but the Files Were Mostly .dll,.gif,.wav or .sav 
    If you have any Ripping Softwares that Could Help me Get more Sprites
