I will introduce myself
My name's Arifkunviid, I'm retro game lover & designer
My favourite video game genre is action-adventure (either "Metroidvania" and sandbox), beat'em up, simulation, puzzles, and racing.

I usually searching to sprites of my favourite games for making some custom sprites as motivation & I'm glad this site is the proper place to find some of those needed. There's some missing sprites of spritesheets that I want to help as long as I can.

I also want to join some interesting discussions here for sharing thoughts, experiences & creations. So this is going to be fun place for.

I didn't know where else to post this thread, I apologize if this is the wrong place,
I also apologize if I used too many images,
With that said, remember Admiral Oink? The character that had a portrait in Stage 5's Background? Well, turns out
he's actually in the game unused! Sadly his palette doesn't seem to exist.

And that's not all, Princess Angelica is in the game too, much like Admiral Oink, Princess Angelica doesn't seem to have palette data.

And there is an unused stage that the codes calls Stage 2-B (Unused) which contains a bunch of garbled up
tiles and an unused Santa Claus is here too, albeit with the wrong palette.

Rash has an unused stance, which is more like Zitz's, I don't think I found all the frames though,

Rash also has an unused flexing animation, which i assume was used before they made the pelvic thrust animation,

Professor T. Bird also has unused sprites, also without a palette.

Zitz has sprites for getting hit by honey and then proceeding to eat said honey,

I found more but I didn't want to add too many images (although I probably did anyway)
For example, there are sprites of scammy with a present, and the 'Toads seem to have get up attack sprites, as well
as Pimple and Zitz having some kind of throwing forwards animation... Or something and Rash having a back handed punch like animation.

I would have ripped the sprites, but for some reason my MAME wont render the game at the right aspect ratio.

Bonus info: Rash has his red arm bands sprited on, for some reason the devs changed the red color green on his palette to hide them, that is why Rash has a green tongue, you can see the armbands if you put Pimple or Zitz's palettes on Rash with the cheat codes.

Edit:
I also found an unused music track, go into the service menu with F2 and then go into the sound test and then use the play sound cheat code's 4th entry, it will play an unused theme.

You don't have to name the files I just need them ripped! A bit short on cash so I can only offer 30 dollars for them! Oh I forgot to mention transactions are done through paypal through the gift option that way no money is deducted during the transfer!

Hey!

So, macOS does this dumb thing when it creates zip archives using Finder. It creates a hidden folder called "__MACOSX" in the archive. This folder is invisible to Mac users, but Windows users can see it just fine. 

It's annoying.

This link here has a fix for it. I recommend editing any submissions you to remove this folder.

I'm new to this community and this is my first sprite rip project so I could use some advice. I've been ripping through this game for the past few days and have compiled a lot of sprites, background textures, and notes. Here is a master spritesheet including everything I have so far:

If you're not familiar with the game, it was a Japan-exclusive puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance developed by Compile, the company known for the Puyo Puyo series.

I'm using mGBA to emulate and Gimp to edit.

My goal is to rip as much as possible since I love the art and I'm sure others might as well. I don't really have any way of knowing the complete amount until I reach the end, but if I had to guess, I'd estimate that I'm about halfway through the entire process. There are lots of different text renderings and 25 animated cutscenes (I've only completed one so far and they hold a lot of great art so I assume the other 24 are going to be a lot of work as well).

I'm thinking this is way too much content to fit into one spritesheet, so I've been trying to strategize on how to split them up. Currently, my list looks like this:
  • Background textures (tiled, full screen)
  • Text (fonts, logos, menu options, section headings, map legends, etc.)
  • Menus (text areas, word bubbles, puzzle menus, etc.)
  • Sprites (characters, icons, vehicles, objects, etc.)
  • Animations (separate sheet for various animations)
  • Champ's Bodyguard minigame (separate sheet for the minigame)
So am I on the right track? Should I be doing anything differently? Thanks!

Hello there.

First of all, new user here, so please forgive me if this thread is in the wrong category. I'm not sure if it belongs here or more fitting as a Request thread.

This thread is basically my last resort regarding my effort trying to do this. Considering how obscure and mediocre this game is, the unlikeliness of this bringing any interest is very high.

Anyway, some background info. I only have the Windows version of this game. I don't have an Xbox to get the XBLA version. I'm suddenly interested in ripping the 3D models of all 8 characters seen in-game, but no matter what I do, I can't get the models (but I did get the textures). Here are my attempts to get them:
  1. I tried the Ninja Ripper route, since I had some success with it in an earlier PC game. But here's the catch: The game can only be launched on Windows XP or Windows 7. Any other Windows version will not work. So, I ran it in VM. Without the ripper, the game works fine, but using Ninja Ripper on it only results in "d3dcompiler_x.dll load error. Install last Direct". The error came from the ripper itself, but I can't find/Google anything that discusses this error. The error happens on both Windows versions, both x86 and x64 architectures each. Note that the error isn't thrown when I try to run Ninja Ripper on my Windows 10, but then again it's probably because the game can't be launched there anyway.
  2. I read on the show's Wiki that the game consists of (apparently) a Half Life package among other things. I assume it's the single .wad file that appears after installation. Out of curiosity, I tried extracting with WinRAR. It works. Got the files. Got the textures (.dds). But the models are in .mdl, so I can't see what they are in common 3D model viewers. I tried specific model viewers like Noesis, (original, Jed's, HL Tools) HLMV, and Crowbar, but none of them can read the .mdl. Later, I read an unanswered Discussion message on tcrf.net which mentions that, as it turns out, the .mdl files aren't the Valve ones.

It would be nice if there is a way to solve this model ripping problem. I'll appreciate your help. Once again, if I made mistakes in my post, I apologize.

I have found some 3D model files by Rough Chrysalis over on DeviantArt, one of them is of Zinogre. Can anyone help me convert this into something that uses .obj rather than the other 3D model files in the file in this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dZH77Id...p=drivesdk
If someone could help me convert that would be awesome as I do not have the tools to do this. If someone could also tech me what some of these files do that would be helpful as well.
Side Note: The drive link goes to the selection of the 3 variants of Zinogre, please disregard the Stygian Zinogre and Thunderlord Zinogre files. Please focus on the regular Zinogre please, thank you!

I am needing Sprites from the game Wargroove. So I am wanting to take these sprites from the game and put them into another applications called Stream Avatars. I am wanting to allow my chat and community to use them.

I personally dont have any ripping or programming knowledge. Looking into the game files, i noticed that they are using a generic .dat file format for all the files in the assets folder. If I personally knew how to open/edit them i would.

I want all the character, animal assets, and maybe gallery. Since there are a quite a bit of assets im not sure how long it could take. This is why im letting you guys choose how much i need to pay.

Hello, I've been searching across the Internet for info on this, but kept coming up empty. I've seen a YouTube channel with Blinx mods on it, but no tutorials. So, my question is rather simple: is it possible to add extra items into a Blinx level? Like for example, add trash used to shoot the time monsters with, or add a time monsters itself in? All help would be greatly appreciated.

Need help. PS4 Game File transfer to PC.

Here's the gist. I put my PS4 copy of RDR2 onto a 256GB flash drive. Formatted it to act as an external drive. Now I'm having trouble placing it onto my PC because Windows doesn't recognize the format. The format is just known as PS4 when placed into my console. The question is, is there either, A: is there a way to access it on my PC, or B: is there a program that can read PS4 formatted drives and can extract the files on the drive. [Image: g1hla09cbm321.gif]

South Park N64 Ripping UV Problem

Is there a better N64 model ripper that can work with the South Park games?
It rips the models some of the Uvs on the Characters and some of the props are distorted.

Is there a better ripper so I can upload some rips?
