I know I made this request before the big update, but since then, no models from the game were submitted. So, I'm going to request again.

It would be nice if any of the characters, including King K. Rool, were in the T-Poses.

First time ripping sprites, need a little advice

I'm trying to extract the rest of the sprites from bleach: dark souls on the DS. I have the ROM and the save file with all the characters unlocked, but I'm not sure exactly where to start to rip the sprites. Can anyone help me out?

EDIT: I know I'm a noob about this but google isn't helping at all. I really can't figure out where to start. Is it possible to do using DeSmUmE? Can someone please point me in the right direction to get started?

I've been on Vacation in Colorado (in the US o' A) for 3 days now! I dunno WHEN exactly I'll be getting back, so son't expect me to post much unless I get hold of a laptop or something and not my 2DS. XD

Tiny Toon Adventures: Defenders of the Universe Ripping Help?

This is only my first post on here, even though I joined like six months before the reset.

And now to the topic-I happen to have a ROM of this cancelled PS2 game that I've been trying to rip models off from. I do know that the models are in .mld format and the textures are in the .tex, format, but no matter what I do in Noesis, it always shows a "file could not be previewed error". I was wondering if there's a way to fix this error so that the models can actually appear and then be exported into an .obj file and then into Blender and then export to a COLLADA file from there for importation into Trimble Sketchup.

EDIT: The probable reason that Noesis didn't load them-I opened one of the .mld models in Notepad and there was only garbled text, indicating that the files are compressed. Do you know how to decompress .mld and .tex models?

Shantae Kickstarter/Paypal

Wayforward had a kickstarter last year for their Shantae: Half-Genie Hero project. It was successfully funded, but some stretch goals were not reached, so they decided to put up a paypal account for further donations which will go to unlocking stretch goals. The game is coming out for Wii U, PS3, PS4, VITA & VITA TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam.

Cookie Changes

In the process of working on a new feature for the sites, we've made some changes to the way the site handles its cookies. While this change did fix a problem we were having, it does unfortunately have one side effect - you can no longer log out. In order to rectify this, you'll need to clear your cookies for our domains and then re-login. We're sorry for the inconvenience and searched for a way to fix this from our end but that doesn't seem to be possible.

Well...I tried to get help elsewhere and got yelled at...so I have no other choice but to ask here. Can someone figure out how to unpack the two types of archives here.

If this can't be done HERE I'm completely out of luck. It looks relatively simple in hex but like I've said before I know nothing of decompression and scripting. Can someone please help out?

Also if posting game files is for some reason against the rules here, then I'm sorry. Just delete this post and I'll know not to from now on. Though that notion is a bit of a paradox based on the nature of our entire operation...but what the copyright Fascists say, goes, I suppose.

Hey there! I know I haven't been around for a while, but here I am, and with something new. This is my first foray into professional game development, and I hope everyone else can be as excited about the project as I am.

We're hoping to release the game on Steam, and have started on Greenlight concepts, from which we'll work our way up.

So, let's see a little about the project:

The apocalypse has left the world barren and broken. Most of humanity has succumbed to the toxic fumes throughout the atmosphere, and the sky is shrouded in dark mist. Samuel and Sarah are two survivors, struggling to stay alive in an unforgiving world. Their survival relies on Sarah's ingenious gadgets, but when she goes missing, Sam begins a journey in order to rescue her and discover the truth about the past, armed only with a lantern that Sarah left behind, and the advice of the scientist Doctor Williams.

Song of the Firefly is an exploration platformer. Explore the streets of post-apocalypse England as Sam, making use of gadgets left by Sarah and her firefly lantern to find your way around the world. With the lantern, you can make use of both light and dark to explore the world and use your gadgets in different ways. But be warned, total darkness will press in around you, and you may find yourself assaulted by shadows, which shun the light.

Sage's/Forte's Sprites and things

Hi.

A lot of you don't really know me, but I've had this account for awhile now. I'd really like to improve my overall spriting ability, and I've heard that this place is really known for giving good criticism. My more common name Is SageHarpuiaJDJ, or Sage for short. I'd change it, but I don't think I can since I don't have a lot of posts or have special powers in my account. Anyways, here's my current work:

The style that these sprites are in are akin to JUS, which is a style that I'm trying to learn in order to get used to making movement and fighting game sprites. The style was suggested by a friend.

As for the sprites themselves I'd like some comments and suggestions for the designs as well as the quality of them. I don't mind rough criticism, as long as isn't basically bashing and sounding like an elitist. So, yeah, crit away I suppose.

Mother 3 soundfont?

I've looked everywhere I possibly can, and can't seem to find a mother 3 soundfont. There seems to be one that was passed around in 2011-2012, and I was wondering if anybody still had it/had a download link. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Editing own model details

I actually need to be able to edit my model or other submission details that I feel do not have correct names like this submission that I named it puftup for Sonic all stars racing transformed game that was submitted to the textures resource:

That above is the example that I need to be able to change the preview icon and the details I want to edit like changing the name back to Puftup where I named it as that pufferfish weapon used in that game is no longer a Donkey Kong enemy after they made it's final appearance in the Donkey Kong ds game "DK: Jungle Climber". We do need the button in-order to edit the details and the icons so that I can rename that back to where I initially named it "Puftup", which is somewhat a known pufferfish enemy that was in Donkey Kong for years before 2010, one for Banjo-Tooie and Sonic racing series is the only 2010s game that Puftup actually appeared in that was back in 2012.

I would like to know if someone can rip sprites direct from the source game:

I tried to find a reliable method, but I could not find anything which I could rip.

If someone knows the correct ripping method for that game, then I might try myself and share in the site.

The game have multiple stages and is rather difficult to win and rip victory poses.

Kyrodian Legends

Forum restarted, so gotta make a new thread for this.

Kyrodian Legends is a series I have planned that takes place in a world called Kyroda, which has an economic system that revolves heavily around mercenaries. There are many large guilds, clans, and factions that employ them, and one can also make a living in a small team or as a single freelancer. The main characters, as you might expect, are mercenaries.

The gameplay is a lot like Zelda 2 and Gargoyle's Quest, but with some Metroid aspects mixed in. Character upgrades are found by defeating new enemies and exploring, rather than through grinding. Some upgrades can be bought, but money can be earned both through contracts and through grinding; I'm trying to downplay grinding as much as possible.

Each game features a different protagonist's POV, and each has their own play style. Midi's game is more combat-oriented, Shacklebolt's uses physics puzzles, and Trey uses stealth. The fourth game, which I don't yet have a concrete story for, allows all three to be played as. If I can work out good AI, I might have CPU partners for this game as well.

I've already got three games of storyline planned, and you've already seen the sprites I'm making for the game in my sprite thread. I'm working on my own SDK for the game, so programming hasn't begun yet. If Game Maker supported Linux ARM, I'd be willing to shell out the 800$ for it, but since it doesn't, I'll be programming it in SDL/Squirrel. A bunch of songs have already been made as well, almost enough for the first game.

I'll post some more info on each character later as I get more art of them.

I wanted to ask this question about the requirements in-order to submit a file for their resource sites here on the Video Game resource when logged in if they don't have positive reputations. Are you sure no-one is required to have one positive reputation before they can submit anything to those 4 resource sites?
