Masked Dedede 3D render

I made a sprite sheet of Masked DeDeDe. Not any sprite sheet, however. I made a sprite sheet of masked dedede's 3D render from the cut scene: the TRUE arena.
Before I upload however, I wanna make sure it's alright i.e. Good enough quality.

[gameboy] Mario Golf

I don't need any ripping help or anything, I just have some questions about sprites in Mario Golf and I don't know where else to ask, so I came here. I apologize in advance if this is the incorrect place.

This is a screencap from a game called Mario Golf for Gameboy Color.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if this map is based on tile design or just pure texture for the entire hole.

Here's a case where it is zoomed in when the ball lands near the ground:

When you see the zoom part, you can kind of see that everything is tiled.
But when zoomed out (ball in the air), it seems everything is irregular and shows no signs of tiles, but the trees kind of say otherwise... I can't grasp how they designed the courses.

Time to remake this thread, better than it was originally!
And hopefully get tons of C+C ripping it apart so I can polish into a really well made and balanced game.

RM Type is my megaman fan Shoot em up.

Yep, I'm re-imagining the classic megaman series as a Shmup.
Sort of like how Battle Network was classic megaman reimagined as a cyberpunk RPG thing.

Half baked Story:

The year is large enough that they start using letters for the numbers to make it easy to write.
Mankind has colonized space and it has been 2 decades since the CRO-RQ Rebellion, where the fully automated military supercomputer packed up and left, taking all the military ships with it, none to ever be seen again.

With a galactic ban on having autonomous AI control the vast armada of mindless drone robots, a new solution to controlling them was developed. The RM-Type.
Able to be piloted by a human being with advanced software that learns the pilots behavior allowing one to control vast numbers of automated ships as if you could devote all ones attention to that single ship, and still not be distracted in your piloting of your own ship. The pilot imprint of each individual RM-Type led to them becoming highly personalized, and a tradition of a pilot taking on his or her ship's name as a call sign was born.

The two decade long peace wasn't to last much longer, as a new, large scale rebellion was beginning. And with no military to stop them... it may be up to the members of small maintenance and ship development corporation and whomever they can convince to join them to stop it...

I mean this in all honesty. Try not to treat this too much as "oh its a WIP". It may be, but the sooner I can iron out any not fun areas, the better. So feel free to take of any kid gloves (like TSR uses those) and put on the adamant diamond incrusted ones. If you'd like that is.

I am an animator in training and I love video game cutscenes so naturally I couldn't pass up the chance to make some myself. using the Ocarina of Time models I was able to test run a few fight scenes and I've posted it below. also thanks to whoever ripped these models, they worked perfectly. Cute



"Realistic" Color Vs Versatile Color

We're all familiar with the trope, Real is Brown, yes? But how many of you actually like those kinds of graphics, versus graphics that have a more versatile color scheme?

Naturally, I like vibrant and colorful colors. It adds so much more beauty to the world, and is also so much more appealing to the eye. So naturally, when a remake of a game comes out, that tries to be more "realistic" by blending brown with everything, it turns out looking like shit in my eyes. For example, compare these versions of Final Fantasy 4's Dwarven Castle.

SNES (Original)

What the hell happened to the color variety in the DS remake? That makes the area so much more bland and dull looking in my eyes.

I downloaded some of the pokemon ripped files from here, and when i import them onto rpgxp, i only have access to the the tiles on left side of the file. There is no option to scroll right or left, just up and down.

First of all, I've never saw an open matte version of Sonic Adventure DX's menus such as this character select screen that has been formatted from the original zoomed in screen while the game's still on pan and scan (4x3) as I've also saw the matted intro logos for the game on one of sonicmike's SADX beta menus that have never been used in the final game which can be accessible by using cheats and exploits to get those menus.

Hi! I've downloaded several models off the site and some come in weird formats besides .OBJ. Doe de .DAE format come with the model's skelleton? If so, what program can open it so I can pose them? Thanks in advance.

I'm with a problem, one friend extracted models from a PS2 game, the file are 3DS, the models work in Blender, but I want usalos in 3DS MAX, for rigging and put in GTA SA, I leave a picture of how the model is, I can not apply textures, and he has some black parts.

I appreciate the help, thanks friends!

Sonic R Character Models!

I just joined today, and that's for a rather good reason; I have succeeded in ripping .OBJ models of the character in Sonic R. (Wasn't easy either; had to write the exporter myself. I'm not going to take credit for figuring out the models, though. That was the work of the people on Sonic Retro.) Don't believe me? Have a look:

The only reason I haven't uploaded these yet is because I'm still working out a bug in the exporter where the edges of textures aren't cleanly cut, like in the first Sonic picture especially. I think the problem is that the textures are 256x256, but the OBJ format only allows me to define texture coordinates as a fraction of 1. Any of you know how to fix that? (Also there seems to be an entirely unrelated bug where some textures, like the top of Tails' eyes and Tails Doll's nose don't have the correct textures for whatever reason.)

hello this is my custom edit of the b.s.l spaceship of metroid fusion a good chunk of the ship is not visible in the game so i made the missing half based on a partial image from in game. the origanal sprite was ripped by psychtaygar edits by me.

as well you will notice i dident include thrusters on the back because in my mind it flys the same way samus's ship does with those an anti gravity things. except i think those are housed in those weird constructs on the sides of the main section and the bottom of the bridge. the part i drew the back i think is just a detachable cargo hold add on being towed by the rest.

you may have notaced i put 2 in the image one has 2 fins on the connecter and the other only 1. thats because that part of the ship is never visible so either way could be correct. i would really appeciate some input on which way looks better as well as what you think about this.
