This thread isn't so much of a request, so I couldn't post it there.  It's more of a game request, but I know better than to ask for illegal sources around here...  Instead, this is an information request.  

There's been plenty of mobile DMC knock-off games, mostly boring sidescroller beat-em-ups but I just found this thing:






(There's another video "trailer" for it, but it's 95% DMC3 PS2 footage).

Compared to all that other garbage out there, this....actually looks kind of badass.  Devil May Cry meets Zelda with a distinctly Diablo-esque approach to skills?  Sign me up.  And the sprite work looks really damn awesome to boot, so naturally, I want to rip it!

Problem is, aside from these two videos...this thing doesn't even exist!  About the only thing I ever found on this game was a single screenshot from an archived forum post from some obscure part of the web:


That, and it was built by an obscure Korean mobile developer named "Zio Interactive", which later became Neowiz Mobile.  Of course...I get nothing from either.  Supposedly, Neowiz's last collaboration with Capcom was some DMC..ish...I-think? MMOARPG set in the DMC universe.  I think?  But that was roughly a year ago, and not a peep since.

In any case, I just wanna know a bit more about this thing.  Again, I'm not asking for illegal sources - I'll do that after I can find more than just a single screenshot of it.  :/

so out of jealousy of sonic fan games i decided to make my own called Xat Adventures....its name is based off the chat rooms of xat and sonic adventure.....

it will have tons of zones and playable characters...

Wow. I'm surprised this thread hasn't been brought back yet. or if it has I haven't seen one.
Anyway, What's YOUR Favorite Kirby Ability?
I have Three.

• Sword: All versions: Thunder Sword is awesome because it's a sword with electricity coming out of it. Come on everyone has to admit that's cool.
• Yoyo: Kirby Super Star Ultra: You are really just a round blob version of Ness from earthbound with a yoyo and everything.
  Breakdance moves, and Gazer Spiral. That kicks Ass.
• Cutter: You wield a blade that slices enemies in half. That and you can combo them and Fly up in the air and Launch a beam TO slice up MORE enemies. Come on, that's RAD.
  

Pretty cool eh?

I am making a Bubsy fan game and I came across a file called spr_bub.fst that contains the sprites files. I opened it in a hex editor and it looks like it stores some sprites in the from of bmp files. Does anyone know how I can rip the files from it?

I am on a laptop, but the site is stuck on the mobile version... I want to change my avatar, but I can't figure out how to do so on the mobile version. I have tried clicking "switch to full version," and clearing my cache, but no dice. I can't switch on my phone either, which is weird because I was easily switching earlier to the full version and back on my phone. But now I'm stuck on mobile on my phone and laptop. I know there's probably an easy solution to this, but I can't seem to find it. Help will be appreciated.

I don't know if this is where I should be asking this question, but there are some youtube videos that aren't from games that I would like to "rip sprites" from for either mugen or a fan game and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good free image editor to do that with. I have a way to download the videos and convert them to images I just don't know if the image editor I am using (paint.net) is the best for this.

I have just hatched from the new-user eggshell so I'm going to flop around uselessly before I grow feathers, scales, or whatever I might grow here.

I signed up looking for information on how to rip things from PS3 games. After playing one specific game, I decided I'd try and do it myself. I hope I learn how to navigate the files quickly, because this looks overwhelming.

I like the colour green, and I tend to be easily distracted. I'm not sure what else would be relevant here.

Hello, I found a graphics package extracted from FF4 Complete Collection on this page a while back. But unfortunately, the graphics and tilesets included is only of the first part of the game (FF4), and not The After Years. 
This is the link of the topic:
FFIV: Complete Collection (I think his links were down).

So now I would like to extract those files myself, but this must decrypt two .bin files, which contain the resources used in the game. 
One is PAC0.bin, which contains a list of game files (weighs about 400Kb), and then there's the PAC1.bin (300Mb) containing the resources themselves. I would figure out how to unpack those files, since I have already tried with MagicISO and Daemon Tools, and I have not gotten any results.

Looking for other forums (Xentax is one of them), I saw that someone had managed to unpack, but the tool that made it was lost.

I can not give you a link to those .bin files since my internet connection is slow and I do not have much time.

The graphics within these files are in .lzs format as I have understood. There is a decrypting tool made for that format in the folowing link:

I know that's asking a lot for a newcomer, but I also like to contribute something to this forum and also to take advantage of some of those graphics.

hey i was wandering what are some games that you guys have played that you hope NEVER  get a sequal as in so bad you dont want a sequal for it ever. it can be from any system of any generation  cause alot of companys are making sequals to clasic games

Now that the spoiler tags are working in full order again, it's safe for me to resume posting videos onto here, including this one!

Paper Mario Animation

By the way, this animation is uploaded to a YouTube account I intend to use for professional, original animations. I plan to only keep this on here temporarily and then delete it once i create my fan animation channel. Does that idea sound good?

A while back, I made a few Paper Mario styled animations on a YouTube account that I have since abandoned. I don't consider it a big loss because those ones were fairly rubbish compared to what I can do now. Now that I have some fairly decent Maya skills under my belt, I created this recent attempt to replicate the style of the Paper Mario games. How did I do?

Anyway, the big plan is that I want to make this a fan series. Of course, instead of using graphical assets used in the actual games, I intend to create them all from scratch (by the way, big thanks goes to Retriever II for ripping the sprites and textures used for this test). That just leaves the matter of audio to attend to, however. I'm not very good at creating music (especially with the software I have installed), so unless you guys don't mind me reusing music from the games, I would like a little assistance with that and probably the sound effects. As for voice acting, I'm leaning towards that as opposed to the text boxes used in the actual games, so if you want to audition for voicing a few characters alongside my own voice talents, I'd appreciate that. Also, even though I've got the graphics and animation under control, I wouldn't mind if I'd get some help in those departments to speed up the process.

Feel free to give suggestions for those aspects and story ideas.

I want to open some decompressed Club Penguin models in BRRES Viewer, but the app just stops working when I open them. I want to merge them separately so what do I do if I can't open them?

Hello and welcome to this year's Halloween Event!

"But puggsoy, what the hell is the Halloween Event?"
The Halloween Event is an annual event where members make some spooky love for each other. More specifically, people draw pictures of each others' personal characters, but with an eerie, creepy, or just Halloween-themed twist. It's great fun and a neat way to celebrate the month!

If you want to take part, just post below saying that you wish to sign up. Each person who has signed up will be given a random recipient to make a gift for. Keep in mind that while you receive a gift, you must also make one for your recipient. Otherwise some people miss out and that's no fun!

Sign up before the 21st, 5:00AM PST (12 midday GMT). PM me your gifts as soon as you can; because this event was started later than usual, the deadline is the 16th of November, 5:00AM PST, but it would be great to have them all in as close to Halloween as possible.

My dad both seen and tried insanely spicy hot liquids before.


Me I tried a little tiny drop of a Blair's Ultra Death Sauce which is about 1,100,000 scoville units spicy hot! Wow that was spicy!!

Hey, my name is Atom.
I came to this site because I believed I could come here to learn to be a better spriter or pixel art maker.
