Club Penguin Gmod/SFM Ragdoll Request [HELP]

...Ok, he we go.

I'm currently ripping models for Club Penguin: Game Day! on the Wii, and I just have ripped a normal penguin model for it.
But I want to do something BIG, something that I wanted ever since I first heard about the wonderful Garry's Mod for Steam.
I want Club Penguin content in it. With this I mean the penguins, puffles, some objects and, if possible, a full map of the island. Its weird or ridiculous, maybe, but its something that I just can't do alone, and I request many help.

Now, for penguin and puffle wise, It could  have some trouble, since the eyes and other physical attributes from them are made separately. Merging them could be easy, but I want the models to have bodygroups, and face poses, and eye poses, and that could not be easy, since, as I said, many facial expressions for the penguins have separate models and joining them together could mess up some things.
I also want the cloth models and their skin colors for them since also, they have separate models. I also want their penguin colors, and the famous penguins as well, but again, they are separate too. Even right after that, I could do some custom characters as well, like an anime character in penguin form or something.

So as you can see, its very complex and big to do by one noob like me, but, with help, we can do it, not easily, but it will not be impossible. So, if you are interested in helping out some random guy, I'll really really really really really really really r​eally really really really really really really REALLY appreciate it. Seems people have discovered a way of ripping things from the 3ds is possible now that we can the rip the models from the game?

I have yet, another problem with ripping Club Penguin models. When I opened my penguin model, the eye model, its texture goes like this: 
.png   brokentexture.png (Size: 36.6 KB / Downloads: 11)

It also happens with the feet, but thats not so noticeable. The eyes do, and it bugs me a lot. So, how do I solve this? Please answer.

I'm pretty sure most of you here haven't even heard about this, but Roblox added an export function into Roblox Studio earlier in 2014. Why not make use of that feature by exporting all of Roblox's models to OBJ and uploading it here.

How to get these models:

Step One: Download and install Roblox onto your computer.
Step Two: Find the model you want to export.
Step Three: Open up Roblox and click on Baseplate and not Flat Terrain. If you chose Flat Terrain, you'll have to do extra steps by deleting the Terrain.
Step Four: Delete BasePlate from the game. (in Workspace)
Step Five: Insert the model you wish to export to an OBJ or search it up on Free Models. I do not recommend searching through Free Models as it contains scripts that slow the game down. I have an optional step that will let you avoid that.
Step Six: Copy the Hat's name (Halloween Top Hat on site is HalloweenTophat in-game)
Step Seven: Open the hat and move the Handle out of the hat. Delete the hat afterwards, not the Handle.
Step Eight: Make sure the position and rotation are at 0,0,0.
Step Nine: Right-click on the Handle.
Step Ten: Click Export Selection...
Step 11: Export the model with the in-game name for the hat.
Step 12: Close out of Roblox and go into your modeling software.
Step 13: Render two icons for the model. One for the small icon (148x125) and one for the big icon (750x650).
Step 14: Submit the model like with any other model.

Optional Step: If you are using Chrome, I would recommend getting the Roblox Object Viewer & Inserter extension. It makes your life a whole lot easier since you don't have to dig through the Free Models which most of them contain scripts that slow the game down.

Note* The game in question is GDMO = Global Digimon Masters Online from Joymax.

Does anyone here know how to update the freakin' EDMO/KDMO.dmop files?
Every time I try, I get this annoying error message:

An exception occurred.File='src\file\dmopmArchiveFile.cpp', Line='118', Reason='Invalid File Format'.

(Same thing happens when I try to Map the directory).

Here are the pictures showing my DMOP configuration:

I have watched every and all Tutorial videos on YouTube about Texture modding but, not one of them shows you their configuration... -_-

So, if anyone here can help me out...that would be MOST appreciated!!

PS:

If&when I manage to fix this problem my next question will be: "How to configure Nifskope?"

(Again, NO ONE shows you anything!! They all just either show how to import the pre-made textures
or show how to mod them but WITHOUT showing us their configuration!!)

And if you ask a question about what I just wrote they will either:
a) ignore you/dodge the question (possibly due to their own ignorance about the problem)
b) call you a NOOB
c) give you an answer that only confuses you even more!

Games That Deserve Sequels

How's about we make a thread that is much more positive than ... that other thread.

Our topic: Games that we want to see sequels for (but are unlikely to happen).


Here's one of mine:

Super Princess Peach

Hey, do you guys love the Wario platformers? Then you'll love Super Princess Peach. Yeah I know, it doesn't look like it from the premise of the game, but aside from the aesthetics SPP feels much more like a Wario Land game than it does any Mario game, most notably in how the levels are set-up, and how the emotion power system is somewhat similar to the Wario Land status ailment "powers". This game was just plain a lot of fun, and one I highly recommend to anyone with a DS system.

Why it deserves it: Aside from it being a good game that I would love to see more of, the primary reason it deserves a sequel is because one was already planned to happen. In the background of the primary story about Peach rescuing Mario from Bowser, the game also sets up information for a potential sequel revolving around the story of Peach's parasol partner, Perry, his grandfather, and a pair of mysterious magicians. From what we are shown in Perry's dreams, it seems that he may not have always been a magical parasol but was rather turned into one by these magicians for unknown reasons. I assume that the sequel was intended to be about Perry and Peach taking on the magicians, returning Perry to normal, and reuniting him with his grandfather.

Why it's unlikely: Stupidity, mostly. This game got a lot of flak for really stupid reasons. One of the primary concerns that "professional" reviewers have stated is that the game was far too easy; but come on, a game doesn't have to be difficult to be good, and it's honestly no less difficult than any Kirby game out there. But the real stupidity sets in with the unfortunately way too common complaint that the game is sexist due to the emotion-themed abilities that Peach utilizes in the game, pushing the stereotype that women are overly emotional. Ugh ... it's so dumb that it gives me a headache. Never mind the fact that Peach is already one of the most stereotypical damsels in all of gaming. Never mind the fact that the enemies in the game all utilize the same emotion powers, including Bowser himself, who is the epitome to testosterone. Give me a break, guys.


I have more games to suggest but this took longer to type than I expected. More from me later.

Oh, and please don't feel that it's required for you to be as wordy as I was here. This is just how I am is all.

i watched captain n on you tube and i found although it fell prey to some flaws common to that time  that it was quite a good concept and not badly done. so  i was thinking that if given a good writing team someone could make a pretty decent revamp of the series what do you guys think?

I've never actually made proper environment tiles before, so I've been giving it a shot

here's what i have right now (tiles on top, bottom is mock-up)

my biggest concern is the grass itself; does it seem too noisy, or does it repeat too much?

I don't know, its my first time making grass..

Also, I'm aware that i could cut down on my tile total if i used transparency and overlayed tiles, but I like this way better Tongue

Hi guys!new! are there any way to rip game like metal slug directly from the files?? as oppose to rip it "manually" frame by frame with an emulator?? the reason i ask this is that first i need a lot of sprites from a game for a project, the second is that judging the fact that i can see there a abundant amount of sprites sheets for example, metal slug and the sprites are arranged into separate parts, explosion apart, various of body parts apart, i can't help but thinking there could be a way to directly extract the data from the files themselves instead of ripping it manually...

hope someone can pass on some view into this

hi
i'm leo. may not post much here but might as well make at least an intro, maybe that will force me to post at least more than once :U

i do all sorts of things on my free time, but most of the time i'm either drawing or trying to make music.

i used to be pretty crazy about sprite animation a few years ago, but nowadays i just do it when everything else doesn't work or i just want quick fun. been doing it for approximately 7 years. i actually want to do more sprite animations though, but with my own sprites. however, pixel art is hard :C

don't really know what else to add here. signed up mostly because i probably will submit some stuff here and there. through the years tsr provided me with lots of cool sprites i've used in all sorts of ways (and now sounds too! plus models+tex i dont use lol), so i'd really like to contribute in whatever way i can.

Monster Hunter 3 [WII] Audio Files

Hi,
i'm looking for some Help to extract the SFX Files from Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii.

I already got the Ambient/BGM and Model/Texure/Animation files extracted but i can't find any Tool to extract the .whd files which i think are the SFX files.

Here is a File, i hope someone can help me or at least push me into the right direction.

I already tried the tool whdreader 0.2(made for whd files from hitman 2), but it only shows errors.

i searched through out this forums, found Random Talking Bush's a few characters model, but my final goal is to extract the angry birds Go! andriod game's tracker or props 3d model.
Is there anyone kindly to show me how to extract or open the original game file to convert into 3d model? many thanks in advance!
