Hello everyone. For anyone who was here a few months ago you might have known that I was taking as sort of ... exodus. I just want everyone to know I am back now. I am going to try and be a positive member when I am around, though I am not sure of how active I will be able to be now and in the future.

As for what happened to me, well, I was in prison. I'll be more willing to talk more in depth about it late but right now I am content with just leaving the experience in the past for the moment. Just know that I am ok, I'm happy, I have a scary future ahead of me, but I've never felt better.

It feels good to be back.

A thread to talk about games that were fan translated, and upcoming fan translations one are hyped for.

I heard a rumor that Romancing SaGa 3 will be getting a massive translation overhaul, using the new variable width font the Spanish one used and a rewritten script entirely. From what I have heard, it will be released sometime next month to celebrate the Franchises 25th birthday.

Also I am looking forward to Glory of Heracles IV (Still undergoing due to quite a few bugs due to submenus and some tiles) and Daikaijuu Monogatari (Same group translating that game will also be translating its' sequel, and have made a proper translation of Mystic Ark, they are also translating G.O.D.-Mezame yoto Yobu Koe ga Kikoe-).

Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei was recently translated. If you are a fan of the Megaten series, play it; just be warned, it is incredibly difficult and unforgiving.

Mother 3's translation will be touched up to clarify some things.

So I import a model like normal, with the following settings:


and unfreeze the model:


and do you see the problem? It's missing it's shine texture!

And it's not even like that it wasn't exported, it's still in the folder where the BMD script saves the max file.


So what can I do to get the shine? :/

Hello TVGR, this thread is simply out of curiosity. How many of us from the Pixeltendo days are still here? I know Viper Shark, Dazz, Pz and Kosheh are here. While I know quite a few are long gone. But how many of the long time members are well, still long time members?

Hey, I was just wondering if my sprites are still visible and still being evaluated in the pending submissions.

I am asking this because I just submitted some custom shyguy sprites a few months ago, and they still seem to be sitting in the pending submissions list. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, or if any of the Admins/Mods simply missed it. Should I resubmit it? I hear ppl say that sprites could take a long time to be accepted, but i've seen earlier sprites get accepted in like 1-2 days, including the new megaman sprites. I have a feeling that my sprites may have been skipped. What should I do?


I could wait longer... but I have a feeling that there is another problem because last time I submitted them it was almost immediate. Could any admin/mods double check to see if my sprites are still on the pending submissions? They might not be there.

Can anyone help me with these sprites?:



I wanted to get the canons without Wile E.'s head popping out, but it seems impossible.

I tried using the Gens11b emulator's Debugging VDP, but I could only get sprites of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. I don't how to get the sprites for items and stuff.

Can anyone help out?

the producer of captain toad: treasure tracker stated that despite gendered appearances, toads do not have an official sex

"gendered appearances" referencing the standard toad design vs toads with ponytails/pigtails
meaning toad is not male and toadette is not female; they only appear differently

also toad and toadette are officially not siblings (i didnt think anybody thought they were?)
just "adventure pals"


i think this is p neat
i'd like to see vivian return to paper mario as a trans character outside of japan
and maybe confirm birdo

we already see some gay characters (like the bedsmith), i think itd be neat to recognise some as trans and others (the toads) as completely without a sex

The not gifts part is because of people maybe thinking that there are gifts. You can (if you want) read that first with the scroll wheel or scroll bar on the right or with arrow keys.

This thread was made/created by me (i.e. PuggsyEXPERT) to discuss about Puggsy as it is a very nice and good game. It is also to discuss Puggsy (character of the game not the game) and items and enemy characters from Puggsy (the game not the character of the game).

Also now the not gifts part is because there are no gifts/presents/drawings/etc (of Halloween, Hallowe'en, "All Hallow's Evening", "All Saints' Eve") because I needed them for the Lord Puggsy. They have been sacrificed (given) to him/her/it and cannot be returned. I know this is not good but it was needed.

Here is Lord Puggsy (also Puggsy or P)

He/she/it is smiling because of the gifts. There are not as many gifts as he/she/it wants (I think 6 more is better) but there are still many so thank you for everybody (anybody) who made one. I am also sorry that people can not get their gifts.

As some of you have probably noticed by now, everyone was logged out of the forum (and, by association, the sites) last night. This was a quick first measure in response to a database compromise we experienced the other day that I was just made aware of. Apparently, on the 14th, one of the MyBB developer's Github accounts was compromised and the attacker was able to run database backups on every single MyBB forum running the most recent version of the software (we were not specifically targeted here). These backups were then sent off to their IP. I have no way of knowing if the process actually completed, nor do I know the motivation of the attack, so I can only proceed by assuming it was malicious and that the attackers have a copy of our user table.

What does this mean going forward? I am requiring ALL staff (both forum and site) to change their passwords immediately. I encourage everyone else to do the same, especially if you use your password here elsewhere as well. Passwords are stored in an encrypted state so it would take some work on the attacker's end to actually get something meaningful out of the data they have but it's still better to be safe than sorry.

Hi.

So I have my Lord Fredrik custom model ready to be rigged, but whenever I try to export it as DAE, 3ds Max crashes consistently. All I did was vertex edit it to make him look more like the official model from Tropical Freeze. But now it won't export to any format except OBJ, and then when I import that OBJ and try again in a fresh scene, it crashes again.

Help, please?

Also, can I send anyone said OBJ see if the model can be salvaged?

Or textures.
I'm kinda unsatisfied with what we have on the main site as far as Kirby's Epic Yarn Goes so i'm wondering if i could get a ISO of K.E.Y. To help rip the game.
I have dolphin already so if anyone could give me the ISO or the raw files either way that would be much appreciated.
Most sites that claim to "Have" it are usually just advertisments and nothing else or try to force you to go Premium and pay for the damn thing witch is always stupid.
Another question: Does anyone know what format the game uses?
I'm thinking either BRRES or a completely different format but if someone could confirm that that would be great.
