Sly 4: Thieves in Time?

Though I'm fairly sure this has been explored at some point before now, I was wondering if any progress had been made on it? I personally would like to request the model of Le Paradox, and it doesn't need rigging or anything beyond the base, T-Posed model with textures and UV's applied. Hopefully it can be worked out eventually.

Legend of Zelda Link to the Past - 3hr59min49 no glitches no saves Speedrun

Took a break from game creation to play one of my favorite games of all time.  This was streamed before a live audience so you will hear me interact with them.
That said, I made a few mistakes so the time could have been even faster.  Now, I've never looked at a guide for this game so I have no idea where the remaining hearts
pieces are located save for maybe 2.  I also forgot where the Cloak was as well.

I feel if I knew where those were at, I could have easily done a sub 5 hours 100% run.  Anyway, wanted to share this playthrough! Smile

I cut 45 minutes from my previous best time and I didn't even practice which is bizarre.

Inazuma Eleven GO: Galaxy

Hello,

I've been working on ripping the sprites (player faces, in-game art, etc etc) from this game for a while now, using his Capture Card, but he's lost most of his motivation to play the game at all, so I can't count him as a fully reliable means of getting the sprites anymore.

I was wondering if there are any other ways to rip the sprites directly from the game, like how you could use Tinke to rip them out of the Inazuma Eleven games for the DS with some extra DLL stuff I don't fully remember.

If anyone has some tips or how-to-do's for me, it'd be much appreciated.

How to set a transparent "color" for animations

$

So, I'm trying to make an animation with Kingdom Hearts magic sprites. However, instead of having a transparent background or something that contrasts the rest of the sprites, it has a black background. And that seems like no problem, right? I use paint.net so I could just use the wand tool and get rid of it all.

Well...see, when the ripper got this sprite, some of the pixels (alot) were suppose to have a certain level of transparency. So, now that they're merged with the black the wand obviously wont separate the two. I've tried googling what could possibly help me, but got no luck.

Basically, I need something that can set pure black to a default transparency, and sort of scale it somehow. These rippers must have had a reason to put the effects on black, right? There has to be some way to make them usable.

Indie Masterpiece: Cross-Code

DISCAIMER: I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS PROJECT, I AM SIMPLY A FAN OF THE GAME WHO WANTS TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS AND SUPPORT THE CREATORS!

I noticed we didn't have a thread for this game yet, so I figured I would be the guy to make it. Recently I came across this indie title which is still in development known as Cross Code. The game itself is 2D action RPG set in futuristic times, developed in HTML5 and with the impact.js engine. What's really cool about this game (er...demo, since the actual game isn't out yet) is that it can be played in browser, and it looks just as amazing as if you were to download it and play it directly from your hard drive.

In the developer's own words...
Quote:Take the best out of two popular genres, find a good balance between them and make a great game. That’s what CrossCode does. And it works pretty well. You get the puzzles of Zelda-esque dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs. During the fast-paced battles you will use the tools you find on your journey to reveal and exploit the enemies' weaknesses and at the same time will be able to choose equipment and skills for a more in-depth approach in fighting your enemies.

That description is quite the statement, and personally, I think what they've shown off of the game so far lives up to that description 100%. Below is an animated gif from the game itself. As you can see, the game is entirely made up of retro like pixel art. In my mind, it's almost like the art-style from Cave Story, but stepped up a notch.

[Image: 20150224072559-melee-combat.gif?1424791559]

For a few more animated gifs, open up the spoiler.
There are so many cool features and aspects to this game, including but not limited to the soundtrack, plot, in-game dialogue, alternate game modes, and so on! I would highly encourage you to check out the demo of this game right now! And like I mentioned above, you don't even have to download it, you can run it in browser! (Chrome is recommended for optimal experience). All you have to do is go to http://cross-code.com/ and click "play in browser". Though feel free to download it if you would prefer that. (I haven't noticed any differences between the two).

And the last reason I'm sharing this title with you is because it's still in development, and currently running an indiegogo campaign to try and raise funds. For those who aren't familiar with indiegogo, it's much like a kick-starter in which someone can ask for funds for a project that they plan to create. Generally people who contribute money to the projects are rewarded when it is finished. The developers are hoping to raise a total of €80,000. So for those interested in this game (whether you are planning on contributing or not), go check out the indiegogo campaign. Click here to visit the campaign page.

Within that link there's all sorts of details regarding the plans and future of Cross Code. Even if you don't plan to contribute, it's still a really cool page with lots of information regarding the game. The developers have goals to release this title for Windows, Linux, Apple, Steam, and maybe even the Wii U at some point. The game has already been greenlit by the Steam community. Should the developers reach their goal of €80,000, the game is estimated to be released in Q1 of 2016.

With all that said, what do you guys think about this upcoming title? What did you think of the demo? Feel free to discuss anything and everything regarding Cross Code!

AGAIN, I JUST WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THIS PROJECT, I AM SIMPLY A FAN WHO WANTS TO SHARE IT WITH OTHERS AS WELL AS SUPPORT THE CREATORS.

S'up?  I'm Steeve, and I do custom sprite edits and comics.  Figured I'd broaden my horizons, meet some new people, maybe make some friends, and share my work with a larger audience.

I hail from a tiny place called HSC, and post a lot of my work to deviantART as well.  I've been working on a strip based sprite comic called, Steeve n' Friends, that updates on a, when-it-gets-done basis.  Looking forward to meeting all ya'.

Hiya, I'm Cyberguy.

I've been doing sprite animations for quite a few years now, though I've only recently started to really get into it seriously. I wanted to branch out, expand my audience, get some critique, and I thought "Hey! What better place then the Spriter's Resource?"

I hope my work impresses and improves!

Steeve n' Friends [Comic Series]

Hey there, this is Steeve n' Friends; a sprite comic I started back at HSC.

Be forewarned; this comic contains swearing, racism towards benign aliens, explosions, references to the Halo series, nutshots, innuendos, ninjas, old movie tropes, graphic depictions of violence, occasionally hammy dialogue, accents, beards, questionable morals, smoking, excessive onomatopoeia, butts, and inter-dimensional travel.

Viewer discretion is advised.

So on Skype, we were talking about Megaman, and the mavericks. I made a Sarah Plain maverick joke and through that, Obamaman and John ManCain were born. Several of us are now drawing these characters in each of the megaman forms/styles/etc.

I will be posting Obamaman.EXE sometime later.

Enter the Matrix

I am working on a project involving The Matrix franchise. For this project I wish to create a Machinima animation from the Matrix tie-in game Enter the Matrix. Specifically I wish to animate the scene where Ghost spars with Ghost.

http://youtu.be/iXXotIhFUao

I have Poser animation software I only need the models and animations from this segment of the game. I own several versions of the game including the game .iso. Though I work exclusively on Macs so it has been a headache for me trying to find the right software. If there is anyone who could assist me please reply to this post.

Thank you.

Ever thought to yourself, "Man, I wish someone would make Kirby's Adventure harder for more experienced gamers like me,"? Well, have no fear, for, with the help of KALE, I am now in process of making...

Kirby's Adventure: HARD MODE!

Yay!

This is, essentially, my take on Kirby's Adventure, if it was as hard as RockMan 2. This is perfect for those who have always wanted a harder adventure.

As you can see, I'm new, haha.

You can call me Nym or Nymy, that's short for Nymira, which is the name of one of my favourite RP characters. I found this site via a credit in someone's sig on a Pokémon egg hatching site, and I've been wanting to learn how to sprite (even though I can't draw Embarassed ). But I'm glad I found this place so I can get some feedback instead of following tutorials that give do's and don'ts. It will be easier for me to learn this way Shy
