I found a file in this mobile ios game named "sounds.g4" and I have NO clue how to open. Any ideas? Here's the file:
http://www.filedropper.com/sounds_2
Just press the "Download File" buttonSmile.
Any information on how I could possibly decompile the file into the individual sound files, or any other leadway on how to view it would be great, thanks!

Spoopy videos (No, not ARG's)

I'm sure we've all been to "that" part of the internet where things can scar, creep, and sometimes just not make any sense. YouTube being the number one contender in my book.
One video that's kept me awake for the past few days is Illusion of Bias," an experimental short film that possibly has a meaningful message to it. Go ahead and give it a watch if you feel like losing quite a few hours of sleep. (Not for the squeamish, mark my words!!)

What are some unsettling videos that somehow interested you? I'd prefer we don't share videos that are part of alternative reality games or internet mysteries (Marble Hornets, meatsleep, etc.), as they're [mostly] scripted stories and are meant to be unsettling from every perspective. I'm talking more about videos that just exist and happen to be subjectively creepy, like an experimental film such as what I just shared.

How to possibly rip everything in Turok - Dinosaur Hunter

If anyone who uses Steam knows, the game was recently ported onto Steam.

And happily, getting the file archive opened up is really, really easy. Just open inside "game.kpf" with 7-Zip, and extract what you want.

Everything is organized into proper folders and files, so you don't need to do much. All the models are in .bin files, so I dunno how to open them.

EDIT: There appears to be an engine test map. If it could be opened, something may be in there. It's under Levels > Test > kaiser_test.map

Howdy Guys! :)

An odd question - old model involved

0

Heyya! I'm pretty new with things and had alot of questions lately, but decided this one question was extensive/text wall-y enough to have its own topic. I'll just copy/paste from what I started and continue on.  It became late writing this (my computer likes to freeze) so excuse me if I sound tired by the end.

Question Block Okay now this question is totally different. It may be a bit odd...and extensive. So please hang tight lol. For some background, since I doubt ANYONE has heard of this, there's a game called "The 3D Adventures of Sailor Moon"; North American thing, 1997, for Windows. This game is definitely an oddity. I had a download of the game lying around and the way the game is.....the files are all right there. Just in folders. (Heck, the songs are just bare MIDIs. MIDIS!!) So anyway, with the files being so out in the open, I expect to find the actual "3D" models themselves somewhere. Sp here I am looking for obvious files... Turns out they're actually .RWX files, aka basically text-based 3D models. SO long story short I find a program that can export them as something more like an .OBJ file, yadda yadda.

Here's where it gets...quirky. So the untouched pose that Sailor Moon's model (and the other sailors) is in isn't a standard T-pose. It's more like....a weird mid-walk.

Well doesn't SHE look lovely?  Shocked

Amusingly so.

Anyway....so I tweaked some things and eventually had her in a more acceptable T-pose form. Not perfect, but still.

So while I'm on this part of the topic, if I were to upload models from this game, would it be acceptable if as a Zip I included the T-pose version I made AND the original slouchy version since it's THE unedited file? Or....idk. I feel silly now, somehow.

Here's her in the mimic T-pose for reference;

Sweatdrop Smug  She's still a bit off.....

So I try to add bones because she actually moves in the game (who wants to animate a brick?), yadda yadda, fix some things....

TLDR; before I drag on and lose the point of what I wanted to say, is it ok to submit touched-up models (packaged in a Zip with their original models) if the original model was pretty wonky/messed up? Should I even BE DOING touch-ups like this? I'm really new to this, so any help would be great.

Also does the fact that I'm not exactly "ripping from a game file" but still accessing a game's model and putting it into a more modern format mean anything in terms of rules/being acceptable?

Assuming anyone wants these models.

[PAID] Plants vs Zombie DS Sprites

Hello everyone!

I am looking for someone who is able to rip all flowers and zombie sprites from the "Plants vs. Zombies" DS-version!
The sprites should be in the same quality as in this spritesheet, found on deviantart: *click* .

I am not quite sure how work-intense this request is, but I am willing to pay around 50-100 $ (If this is too less let me know, I really don't know what a good price for this task would be).

Also, once we are done, you can post all sprites on the internet if you like.

Let me know if someone of you guys is interested.

kind regards

[ HELP ] Sprites style Hack Slash Claw?

Hey guys, There is a full sprite like the this game?
Is there any way to draw sprite like this, the styles of mmorpg?

Is there an easy way to see what program will open DAT files?

I've been trying to crack open the game 100% Orange Juice for a while now, and I just got a huge break, but now I'm more confused as ever.

The files come compressed in PAK files. After attempting to open said files in every known program, I noticed that the BGM PAK files could be opened in media players such as VLC Player, however they were a bit buggy. While attempting to open the files in Sony Vegas, I accidentally dragged something that wasn't music onto it and it came up with a window to extract the files.

The result was a handful of DAT files, some of which can be found here. Does anyone happen to know how these could be decrypted to their original formats?

I'm intrested in ripping Tennis Titan models but the models are in a strange format.
Models are contained in a .CCT. Seems to be an archive files. I'm mostly weirded out about how every file along with it are also .CCT files like sound and textures.
Any leads?

Cosmic's Custom/Edited Sprites!

Heyya! I'm fairly new to posting in the forums here, but uh.....I thought I should mention I'm an artist. And with that, I like to fool around with pixel art, too!
So I decided to make my own thread for it, because alot of it is singular clear-background stuff or style-fusions with unrelated/original characters; so I don't feel too comfortable submitting anything yet.

Edit: apparently I gave them color backgrounds anyway.

I should probably mention I'm a huge Luigi AND Sailor Moon fan, so if anything here looks like either of them....... Cool & Frosty!

Recently, I've been fooling around with Dream Team sprites. I'll start off with some Luigis I did. (I should note the original DT Luigis were ripped by Ploaj/Teawater)

....I'm weird.

Also I made a Dream Team-styled Sailor Moon in multiple outfits. She started out as me mixing one of her quiz game sprites with her Another Story sprite (i think i got them both from Shyguy Kingdom, i know it wasn't here) and going from there, but she's gone through too many edits to count and now looks completely different. Eventually I edited her into Sailor Venus too.

And here she is next to The Bros for comparison. Because she's REALLY short.

And finally, some Daisys (Daisies? Daisy's?)

The second Daisy is my fusion of her old+new designs with my own twist.

FSB Vorbis files

I used Unity Studio to extract audio files from Odoru? Pokemon Ongakutai as FSB files. However, FSB Extractor refuses to open them, saying "Access violation at address 0044A3BB in module 'FsbExtractor.exe'. Read of address 00000000." and "Not a valid FSB file format FileIVery Sad 0x00000000." The table in the program says that the format is Vorbis.

Here's a few of the files:

.zip   AudioClip.zip (Size: 44.68 KB / Downloads: 3)

Can someone help?

EDIT: It appears that this is also the case with the game Camp Pokemon. Are all FSB files used in Unity this way or something?

girly sprites

Let's just say that it's been a while since I've sprited anything. But my drawing techniques in general has improved drastically, so here goes nothing.

.png   122715a.png (Size: 5.41 KB / Downloads: 4)

Just a succubus I made up that kinda evolved from a character that I created based on myself. She used to be a plain human, then all of a sudden...This. I already kinda know my potential with spriting, so I'll take all the critiques I can get o3o.

(Yes, that is a sitting pose)
(She does have elf-like ears, just forgot to draw them onto the smaller sprite)

Legend of Kay Anniversary .pak

I have been interested of this game at the moment. I own this game on PC version. Compared to PS2 version they have re-model much more details in Anniversary. (I think)

This game runs on RenderWare Engine. Everything is on big 4GB .pak file and I can't figure to extract it. (because I am not the coder)
I just wanna take a look at the game files and extract a 3D model form.

If anyone interest to help, I might be upload the file and send via PM message. (if you haven't own the game, I bought it from Steam) I don't want to be legal the whole game assets on public link.

PS. I have Google anywhere myself and I can't find any helpful for this game. And this game seems quite underrated so far, like, less of people having research on a game file.

Metal Gear Solid 2

I've been looking around the internet for a while, and sadly research into this game is minimal. I am hoping to get a model of Solidus from Metal Gear Solid 2, as well as "Fatman" from the same game. I don't know what method is useful for these games, but I HAVE seen a model of Solidus before, however it was not properly T-Posed so I assume it was screen ripped. Can anyone get me these two models in standard T-Pose or whatever they are in native format?

Trying to rip segmented .mib music from "Wallace and Gromit"

I'm trying to rip the music from the PS2 disc of "Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo".

I've got the original .mib-files from the disc on my HDD and tried to convert it to .wav .

However, it creates .wav-files that are segmented, which means that that it contains all 3 or 4 different versions of a track in one file.

The problem is that it plays the first 0.5s of version 1, then the first 0.5s of version 2, then the first 0.5s of version 3, then 0.5-1.0s of version 1 and so on.

How am I able to rip such a specific kind of video game music perfectly (maybe with HEX editing?)?
Any help is really appreciated! [Image: icon_smile.gif]

Here you have some links.

Deserializing/Extracting Meshes from Unity .assets files

Hey all, this is my first time ripping a model (I really wanna get at least one submission) and I'm ripping from the mobile game "Dead Trigger 2". Now, I have all the *.assets files all on my computer, and I got disunity. I tried to extract them and this is what I got for the meshes:

[warning] AssetExtractor: Can't deserialize Object #320 (ClassIVery Sad 43, Class: Mesh), caused by java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal Capacity: -1073631121

I know that this is from the serialization process, but I wanted to know if anyone could point me in the right direction. Telling by the file size, there's HUNDREDS of meshes stored in here. Here's the link to the file alongside it's external references(needed to extract with):

https://files.fm/u/km5a4ktn

If this matters, here's a link to the version of disunity I'm using (Must have Java installed):
https://files.fm/u/xasehxrk

Any lead-way would be a huge favor. Thank you in advance!Big Grin
