Xenoblade X unknown model format

Hello there,

I'm currently trying to get the 3D models from Xenoblade X (mostly for Cosplay references).
I think I found the models but don't know how to convert the files in something usable.

For example I got:
dl019100.camdo - most likely the vertex/polygon coordinates
dl019100.camtp - guess this is the info which material/texture belongs to which part of the 3D Model
dl019100.casmt - Textures maybe
dl019100.efp - no idea
dl019100_rig.hkt - bone rigging I guess

Here are some example files.

Maybe someone knows this format or has an idea how to convert it?
Many thanks in advance Big Grin

So I've taken a look at the files of this game, and they seem to be in a reasonably simple format, minus the filenames which are HORRENDOUS. Unity, why must you not be friendly to us!?

So, I've attached a few files which I've managed to get viewed in TiledGGD.

As you can see though, they're distorted width wise which I can never seem to work out. There's also some 4,000 files to go through that makes the whole process a real bastard. Within the file's hex are the real filenames however!! Just... They also aren't that helpful since I'm sure they will be shared  across a few different files as they're simply things like "side_2". No character names or anything.

If someone could work out a method of batch converting these that'd be awesome. I've attached a few files that might serve to help give you some similarities etc. Hope it helps!

Things about me

Hey, guys! I've been a lurker for a long time, but I decided to make an account. I'm a graphic designer, but I'm also into video production, illustration, and animation. My favorite games are the old Spyro games. I'm trying to learn 3D modeling and SFM, too, so we'll see how that goes.

[NEVERMIND] Converting .SMK Video

I'd like to be able to convert the cinematics from the Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II disks in full quality, but I'm not sure how I would go about it. Any Video Converter can't do full quality, and Handbrake doesn't support the .SMK file type. Any suggestions?

Edit: Nevermind! SVP seems to have installed the necessary codec, and now, Handbrake works. Smile

Pretty much what it says on the label. It's been a long time, fellas, but the Central is now back online and ready to dispense some new stuff at last! ...Hopefully without me procrastinatin' too much halfway through this time, heh.

DISCLAIMERS, YO~
As per usual, all rips displayed here are guaranteed 100% checked, primed and(Most of the time) complete, with no smudges or unnecessary breaks and the like, barring cases in which some sprites have to be manually polished to keep the quality consistent.

And as always, all sprites, backgrounds and stuff displayed here are all © their respective owners.

And with that, I'll leave ya to the show. Enjoy!

Let's begin with something that was LOOOONG overdue.

HUD Interface [Metal Slug 6]
[Image: Kaj8j9D.gif] <-- Hey guys, look. H-D!!

Hoo boy, we've got a blast from the past already... Remember those little icons from the MS games that I compiled in a sheet way back in Lady Palutena knows when?

In MS6, the HUD got up-scaled to roughly twice its original size, presumably to better accomodate the different aspect ratio of the Atomiswave/PS2. Oddly enough, those sprites wound up in MS7's tile data, which is how I've obtained them. A few things to note:

1. Additional sprites have been included for the "Mission Start/Complete" font and the "IN/OUT" icons, to match the original sheet.
2. Speaking of fonts, there were a few letters from the system font in the tiles, also up-scaled. For completion sake, they've been included in the sheet.

And that's that. Enjoy the sheet, and have fun!

Hey guys, so I'm trying to rip models from Beyond Good & Evil but when I extracted the sally_clean.bf file, I got .bin files and I was wondering if anyone can help me extract them? I have a feeling that they have 3D Models & Textures inside. Here are some sample files. https://www.mediafire.com/?1cuybn13ycbor6d

...That a lot of Ocean's 16-bit games (I.E. Amiga, SNES, VGA DOS) make use of a simple, color gradient background?

I'm not sure if it was because of software limitations, time constraints, or they just thought it was easier to work with, but it's pretty interesting to say the least. Tongue

P.S: What's your least favorite Ocean game?

I badly need feedback on this. I commonly receive the same criticism: my animations aren't all too great.

Hey all, I've been pretty desperately trying to find help with these formats. I want to extract models and textures from the PS2 version of Ghostbusters. However beyond the main archives I haven't gotten too far. I was hoping someone could help me figure these out.

Mislabeled NSFW pages?

Call me crazy, but I think some NSFW pages are incorrect.

For example, the "Sheriff's Office Area" sheet from Mother 3 is labelled as NSFW, yet I don't see anything offensive or sexual in it.

Linky in case the picture is NSFW, and I'm just dumb.

EDIT: It appears pretty much every sheet is labeled NSFW for me, for some reason.

if you aren't in mobage hell yet, hold onto your shit i'm going to do my best to drag you into granblue

if you miss old final fantasies like 3, 4, or like spinoffs that play similarly such as Bravely Default this is probably The game for you, featuring pretty much identical gameplay, and bringing Hideo Minaba (art) and Nobuo Uematsu (music) together for this

it's in japanese for now but in about two months there will be an english 'release' which is just a setting so if the game looks good you can play now and get a jumpstart on waito piggu

have a video on the tutorial

unlike most mobage you can do almost everything if you know what skills do and pay attention to what you're doing, unlike others like Kancolle which is all praying it works out

so this is a phone-game but it plays pretty badly on phone so most people play through Chrome (on phone or on computer, both are good options)

this game has eaten a lot of my time and even pretty much got me off kancolle entirely it's a super fun game, if not a little grindy

A simple animation

So I started trying out sprite animation a while ago, but then life go in the way and I didn't do anything for a while. Some friends and I decided to make a let's play channel and we wanted an opening so I decided to give it a shot. It's short and simple but I figured I could use some opinions and advice based on my first posted animation. Be aware, there is a loud profane word at the end.

Best sprites / animations

What games do you find have the best sprites and/or animation?

Suikoden 2 for Psx: Combat sprites and portraits are okay, but the overworld sprites are really great, they really conver the character's emotion.

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike: 2 words: Those Legs[Image: latest?cb=20080324055009]

Odin Sphere for Ps2 : The whole aesthetic of this game is perfect. Each characters has dozens of parts and they move so fluently. Backgrounds are deep and full of life.

Chrono Trigger for Snes Pretty much the best the snes can do. [Image: 0ekqm1b4dh51e55zg.jpg]
Hmm, weird. Mediafire has messed up my gif...
