All i know they are in win, str and sbk formats. noesis not able to crack it, and i guessing the win file may be the model data.

Hello,
I've been working on this flash game on and off for a few years.
It's a magic themed platformer game in which the protagonist has a special ability to morph blocks of ground into or out of existence. I also have a feature-packed level designer which I am trying to build to go with the game. With the level designer, what I am really trying to do with this game is make a spiritual successor to the level designer in my old game, Super Mario 63.

Hello. My name is Matt, and I have a YouTube channel called EscapeRouteBritish. I've decided to register here at VG Resource for a couple of reasons - cross-promotion of my YouTube channel, another cool community of people to talk to, and because I've recently taken to ripping content from games as a hobby and it would be great to share that content here where it can be used to the greatest effect.

So, I'm CosmykTheDolfyn. I get the name from F-Zero GX.

I was a fairly active member of VGFacts. With the server issues and this forum being up, I joined here. Not sure how well I'll fit in here (mostly play games, not make them), but maybe I'll learn a thing or two.
I am also attempting to speedrun games. In particular, Hot Wheels Turbo Racing for the N64.

Postal 2 Complete (All Sound Effects / Voices)

Here is a full set of voices and sound effects from Postal 2. Presented in their native *.wav format ripped from Postal 2 using HyperRipper, which is faster than painstakingly exporting each file by hand in UnrealEd.

This is the fully complete collection of all sound effects and voice clips from Postal 2 and from the content added in the recent updates on Steam and GOG. Where there are multiple folders, I have clubbed them together (i.e. there are four LevelSounds types, all are in the one LevelSounds archive).

Postal 2 is an M rated game and as such please be aware that these voice samples may contain an abundance of rude words and references to drug use, sex et cetera.

I really want to learn how to do pixel art. Do you have to place every pixel manually? Is there a specific program I should use? If anyone can help I'd be extremely grateful.

New Brian (in the style of Family Guy Desk Buddy)

Well, when VGR was down, I started working on a sprite sheet of another Family Guy character in the style of Family Guy Desk Buddy. This time, it's New Brian, from FG0705, "The Man With Two Brians".

First is the idle sprite:

Now that the latest Family Guy game, The Quest for Stuff, has been released for Apple and Android devices, I'd like to request rips from the game, be it characters or tiles.

Removing garbage noise from a sound stream

I read somewhere on the internet that by choosing "Raw Data" from the Import list, you can use Audacity to access certain sound files from games, so I used it to open a soundpack from Cel Damage. The soundpack in question is TalkToMe.dat, and includes all in-game voice clips. Since VGS Converter does not support this file type, I had to use Audacity to look at it.

After making many adjustments, I got it to the correct pitch and speed that the voices are supposed to be at. Unfortunately, there is still lots of garbage noise mixed in, making the voices sound somewhat garbled. No matter what I tried, I could not remove the noise at all. How do I go about removing it?

Um... so yeah, I'm new. Registered today. Hi everyone. And since there is a lot of masters here, and I'm kind of laggy at my pixel technique development (?), I wanted to share some stuff. =D.

Most of my sprites are from scratch, at GraphicsGale. BUT! Sometimes, I make first a pencil sketch, then take it to the PC, and work over it. I'll start by now putting one of each here. And obviously, I'm awaiting to be stoned to death (?). Not really, but yeah, be gentle...

This is a fan-art of Arsenal :love:. Little original Arsenal sprite is there for reference. And for improving the image sex appeal with its gorgeousness <3. Nnnggghhhhh! <3<3 LOVE!

Some AA and stuff can be missing, but... yeah. Also didn't made the cables, because I didn't knew where to put them x'D. But maybe another time.

ALSO, the cannons are meant to be floating, or so they seem to be at the DS remake .-. that's why I didn't care to make them like... symmetrical and stuff.
Of course this interpretation of mine can be prone to errors.

I actually lost some of the previous steps, from the sketch to the first step shown below. But it was cleaning, resizing, pallete reducing... and reworking all stuff.

Pokemon Battle Revolution Animations

Hi all,

a week ago, i started searching for some pokemon games, with decent pokemon models to rip.

Thats how i find out about Pokemon Battle Revolution, and started playing aroung with its files. Thanks to some tools posted here it was easier for me to decompress the wii files (Thanks Imaginary Z)

So i have made a working model exporter that exports the models and the textures (i think i am missing some texture types but most of them are CMP textures, and i've already written a decoder for them)

I've also managed to found some bone information and also some additional models contained in the file that are used for the color mapping of the model.

So here are some results:

It seems that i am having some problems with the bones and their calculated positions.

So i am asking for some help. Has anyone any clue about the bones and the precise way that their positions are calculated?

Also has anyone any idea where the different animation data is stored?

It's a long time since the last time I worked on TOV ripping.I have successfully exported almost all character models from the game. These models are in pieces, with different material and custom normals.It appeals that obj importers for Blender and 3DSMax do not accept custom normals, instead, average normal is calculated.
I found a modified obj importer, and it works very well, but when I enter Edit Mode in Blender, the normal is recalculated,so, be careful!

It seems that the server is down, so I just post some pictures here:
