FIGHTER DESTINY 2 - Sprite RIP REQUEST

Hey so this is something that id love a tutorial for in general but for now ill just make a paid request. Fighter Destiny 2 doesn't really have much online in terms of image assets or concept art for the game and ive been trying for what seems like forever to figure out how to rip stuff like stage background images and character renders, portraits, logo's ect....pretty much everything that isnt a texture from a 3D model. For now im only requesting Fighter Destiny 2 and if possible Fighters Destiny but I'd love this to be the case for possible all the fighting games that were on the N64. Not really 100% on how much work or effort that goes into a task like this but im willing to discuss a reasonable price for this task.

Trying to rip sprites from Windslayer

Hello! I thought it would be cool if we could somehow save all the art from the old game Windslayer, since it is a completely abandoned game.

I have all the files from the game, but I can't find any way to open them.

The file system seems relatively open. This is what the folders look like:

The graphics are saved as .hsi, .hsc, .hsc1 and .hsc2 files.

I tried opening the files with a text editor to see if it would give any clue, but the only thing I could find in the scrambled mess was that all of them had a "temp_file" line close to the top.

I also tried opening them in TiledGGD, but it's just a mess of pixels just like if you open any random file with it.

So if anyone could give some tips or figure out how to extract the sprites, that would be amazing!

I attached a .zip with some files if anyone wants to check them out.

Super Mario Sunshine - modding?

So, after digging in Mario Sunshine, I discovered the game has a duplicate model of each map and commonly used object for each mission. Would it be possible to have a different map for each mission? What I'm getting at is: through applying mods to the ISO, can we replace Bianco Hills with "the grass world," with each mission serving as a different level entirely? Can we play it through Nintendon't or other loaders?

Sonic the Fighters

The Sonic the Fighters models on this site are ripped very poorly. Using screenshots of textures, the models being slightly tilted, and not having any bones. From what I can tell, these were ripped from 2010-2012. That's at least 4 years of incorrectly ripped models!

I've been searching far and wide around the Internet for anything at all for rips of Sega Model 2 games, I found Sonic Cult, which seemed to have ripped a model of Sonic's lovestrucken head!
I'm very intrigued about this as this seems to be a clear rip of it. Or it could be some screenshot and model swapping thing. I'm not alone saying I wanted to rip the models either, several other people wanted to do it too around here, some even on Sonic Retro I believe.

My main focus right now though right now is Honey the Cat from Sonic the Fighters, just to make sure I can rip something. I might think it's impossible though, as every method of ripping her seems of to failed one way or another.

Please note, these results are from the arcade version of Sonic the Fighters, one of two ports in the game to have her model data.

3D Ripper DX:
[Image: jcD66dp.png][Image: o254RfQ.png][Image: 3pOTqcH.png]

Pros:
  • Not flat like the others.
Cons:
  • Back-culling. Oh boy, does it really show.
  • Skewed based on perspective of the camera.
Ninja Ripper:

Pros:
  • Straight compared to the other rips.
  • Seemed to rip the entire model.
Cons:
  • Completely flat!
  • Missing faces.
  • Again, skewed based on perspective of the camera...
3DVIA PrintScreen:
Crashes computer.

Intel GPA:
See Ninja Ripper.

GameAssassin:
Does nothing.

Any information at all about ripping Sega Model 2 games, various rippers I haven't tried, anything would be appreciated to contribute ripping Honey and eventually, more than just her!

Hello, I'm back and would like to participate in the project. That's why I'm creating this topic.[Image: ok62nT2.png]
These transformations are some of my blows (inspired by Pocket Fighter). The ones inside the red box are different versions. Those of the left are with my colors and those of the right, with the original colors of the characters.
This is the defense pose.
I also want to know if my helpers can be Nintendo characters and my midnight moe, princess peach.
Since I'm in the gaming subforum, I want to know if the ideas I expose will not be stolen.

Champ Games by Champ Programming

Not sure if anyone remembers, but there were some MS-DOS ports of old arcade games (really reversed enginneered through black box testing). The programmer typically added better graphics, some sounds/music, and new levels along with keeping the old levels. I was hoping someone could rip some resources from the games.

By the way these games used to be shareware, but they are now freeware. You can get here:

http://www.champ-em.com

The site hasn't been updated since 2005, but it has all the gamed there; as well as, all, if not most, of the versions, including the shareware and paid versions.

I've ripped all of pikmin's .mod files but...

Issue with Blender importing Armatures

Hello, everyone! I've been away for awhile, but now I've returned because I have something major I want to share with you all. About a month ago, I managed to finally put together a model of one of my all-time favorite videogame characters in Blender to eventually be converted for use in the "Project EF-12" 3D fighting game engine.

Magician Picture 1
Magician Picture 2
Pretty cool, right? Cool

Here's the problem, though. Whenever I export an EF-12(.xsi format) skeleton from Blender and then open it back up again in Blender, all of the bones are too small and none of them are connected to each other.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about:
Magician Skeleton

There's gotta be some step I'm missing, or something I'm doing wrong; however I just don't know what it is. I've been following the instructions in this Youtube video(link here) to the letter, but it still comes out wrong in every attempt. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please let me know as soon as possible. I'll be sure to credit you for your help if/when I'm finished in getting the character ready for use in Project EF-12.

Apollo Justice HD Ripping Help

I'm trying to rip the sprites from Apollo Justice Ace Attorney HD on iOS. It's a Unity Game, and I've ripped all the assets I can from it, but the images of most of the important things like profiles, evidence, and the characters are .dds and are split among multiple 128 byte files. When previewed in unity studio, it's a black square, but there were 2 that looked normal, which I have linked in this post. How can I combine the other images?
