Conker's bad fur day Panther king v1

Still have to fix a few texture issues. have to t pose him and, edit parts to look right. Was a pain since I ripped him in his chair since multiplayer cheat ducttape wasnt working since no button was letting me go to lower case letters.

 So I did what I could  to make him stand up. I don;t know what chapter you fight him in. So till than, this is just a preview model.  Once I figure out wich chapter he stands up i'll be happy to rip a standing up version if there is one.

 The stages are a nightmare.  Excluding the textures I fixed theres over 280 + textures that would need flipped per stage room T.T so i wouldn't have the patience to rip those for free sorry. Time adds up. but, I'll rip more characters from the game .

Ripping UmJammer Lammy SFX

I'm currently trying to find out how to rip the SFX for UmJammer Lammy but all i keep finding is the music in the .XA files 
i know it's in the files because it can't just not be there. it's weird *even the sound resource has all parappa sfx and only stage 4 sfx*
so i'm just confused and i'd like to try and figure out where the SFX is for this
there are these files aswell but i haven't had luck trying to open them *the sng ones anyways. CMP and COP are likely model files.*

Hi everyone!

I am here to find good people on Spriters Resource who can rip some cool graphics from my favorite games I couldn't find around the site yet and I just love to draw and design my own games as well! 

My favorite consoles are Super Nintendo, NES, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, Playstation 1/PSX, Playstation 2/PS2, Gamecube, Gameboy Color and Advance, Nintendo DS and 3DS.

basically the thread for games you got for christmas/whatever you celebrate. i managed to get most of what i wanted:

vita
- odin sphere leifthrasir
- muramasa rebirth
- dragon's crown

ps3
- guilty gear xrd -revelator-
- dragon ball xenoverse

i'm actually pretty impressed with the selection. with the discount on GGXrd, i was able to buy five downloadable games with $150. the only game i unfortunately missed was 1/2 Genie Hero.

SilentBobX's sprites - Shantae-ish sprites

Hello guys, I'm SilentBobX
And first, let me say "SHANTAE SPRITES ARE HARD AS BUCKETS TO DO"! Yeah, behind that cute little bubbly sprite hides torment and agony... And hip-shaking. After studying her sprites, I can fairly say it's hard to replicate the flow-y movement this series has. Which is pretty darn awesome looking BTW. For almost 3 weeks now, I've been trying to create a playable OC to get a Shantae Fan Game going. The result so far, I think is not too bad, but not perfect either.

I've been trying to make a Jump and Shoot character that can fit in the Shantae Universe. I call him Caesar. As the game would start out, he'll only have Run, Jump, Ducking and Shooting at his disposal. And as he goes through the game he'll gain ability's such as Slide, Wall jump and placing platforms in air (Item 1 from Megaman 2)
I have almost all the essential animations done, and when I animate him together he'll need some touching up here and there. So whenever I get a nice big batch done I'll share it here to seek opinions and changes you think Caesar might need. Of course, my time is limited between work and helping out family, so any changes/fixes suggested might not be done right away, though I will try my best.

Hello, I have been trying to get models of N64 or 3DS games, but when I have the 3DScmbViewer the files are .cs and I can not do anything ... Does anyone help me? Please T_T

Help ripping .pac file to get sprites from Trillion: God of Destruction (PC)

I'd like to start off here saying that I've never actually ripped files from a game before but I'd like to at least try. In particular, I'm after the 2D Dialogue portraits and backgrounds in Trillion: God of Destruction, the PC version since that's the only copy I have.

Here's an example of what I'm referring to:
I've tried googling and looking all over the place trying to find a sort of extractor for .pac files but every program I've tried just doesn't recognize the .pac files.

There we're a few .pac and .cpk files in the data folder but I'm assuming the main files I'm looking for might be in these files:
GAME00000
GAME00001
GAME00002

First,  is the Conker models so far

The Panther king ripped from his sitting pose and, reedited to be standing and, will have the better version later .

These models are in pmx form. So move the models to the main folder so they will load correctly in blender or, whatever program you would use to have them seperated. I ported them into pmx editor so I could seperate and, fix the models and, re uv map them.

 Most stages are 400-800 parts so fixing them takes time. Due, to Rare made them game culling / draw distance terrible. I can only rip what Banjoo/ Conker character models see in front of them. Otherwise the game won't let me rip them since that part is gone.

 If you would want a particular stage or, model ripped please let me know. I'll see what I can do /

Shantae: Wrath of the Djinn's (Fangame)

Hello folks. SilentBobX here.
Well, we all know a little title called Shantae: Half Genie Hero is out, aaand I gotta say it was an awesome ride. Shantae is a really fun character, and her games are quite inspiring. So I've been mulling over ideas for weeks on a game I'd like to make based on her series. Not just her, but I also want to do a branching story with Shantae and an original character with different game play mechanics.

The other character I have in mind would play more like Megaman. He's a soldier for the Ammo Baron with a pistol. I've actually been working really hard on creating original sprites, based on Pirates Curse, for almost 2 weeks now. They'll need more editing, but here is what I have:

I made a forum in the sprite section so if you wish to see more, you can head on over there. The characters name is Caesar, the little brother of Vinegar. He's actually the Janitor at the Ammo Barons base, so he hasn't seen any combat at all. He has practiced with a pistol, but never out in the field (Kind of a good thing really.). Anyway, I still have more sprites to work on, and some editing to do, but I'll get him done.

I'll share a little of the story. The Ammo Baron finds a relic, a jar, along with other nick-knacks and plans on selling them off for funds (Money troubles... go fig.) Some days pass and Risky Boots attacks Ammo Barons base looking for said relic. Though not TOO eager to prove himself, Caesar is encouraged by his sister to help fend off the pirates and stop Risky's intrusion.

So, yeah, this is all I really have so far. I'm trying to get as many talents together to make this happen. Art, music and voices shouldn't be a problem to get, but a game engine and people who know how to use them are. I've been looking around for awhile and haven't really found an engine. Unfortunately, i don't have the faintest idea on how to use a game engine to make a game. I have used one before for an Ace Attorney game I made awhile back, but I BARLEY knew what I was doing and needed constant help. So if there is anyone out there who is generous enough to lend a hand, it would be most appreciated.

That's all I have for now. So what I want to shoot for is two story branching campaigns, with about 9 levels, 2 of them being intro stages for Shantae and Caesar, with some variety thrown in here and there. I'd be able to draw up some sprites, level idea, and write the story. Also going for a Pirates Curse look. I hope that's enough info. Sorry if I don't have enough material to show off. This is just really in the idea stages for now. Thanks for taking the time to come by and have a look see.

I tried this myself, but I couldn't figure it out. Most of this game's sprites, models and sounds are stored on a server. Whenever you play a round, it downloads the data temporarily to your Android or iOS device, which is disposed of immediately after playing. The game is Unity-based. I tried using Fiddler, but I couldn't get anything out of the assets I obtained, and now I can't use Fiddler at all for some reason...

I figured that since people here have been ripping other server-dependent Unity games like Sonic Runners and Pokémon GO, I'd ask. Some peopleon YouTube managed to obtain some models, but one did it before the game's files were reorganized and the other refuses to share...

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some help trying to convert or extract the sounds from .SOD files from the game Zone4. Some of these sounds play raw "The BGM's" but any of the combat sound effects do not work on VLC. I was wondering if anyone knew how to extract these sounds and upload them here on TSR.

Alola! Glad to meet you all!

I've finally got 'round to making an account on TSR after SO many years of browsing and perusing the sprites.
I've decided I finally wanna give back to the community for all the help it's given me with my fan game projects.

Sooo..... Pokemon Prism. A Gen II rom hack by Koolboyman, creator of the famed Pokemon Brown hack.

I got the rom. It's great. It's got lots of neato custom sprites.

3D at simplest?

I usually use AC3D for modelling, but is old and some
Things is missing (first of all dont' supports the bones)
I have tried some other programma but looks like hell to me, metasequoia and Sketchup looks practical,
But is very limited at compatibility....
I need new program(s) to use bones,
Someone can help me?
I need a very practical program for Windows.
I want use the right button of the mouse For many
Funtioncs, like change the visual, or moving the pieces.
I have blender but I use it only for conversion,
Have too many buttons and Windows, I don't understand how I have to use it.
If I have to use many little program instead is fine.
I have the same problem with Photoshop, but I have solved it using like 6 art programs, very simple and light (inkscape, paint.net, photoscape, photofilthrestudio, irfanview and some other)
I need a practical easy programs, not a monster with thousands of buttons and all the functions in one,
That need a week of study only for moving or sizing the models.
AC3D is almost perfect, but is not complete and need
Some other programs to compensate it.


...Uh also I search for a simple way to reduce the poligons on a surface, very basic, just to accorpate The flat poligons together.

PS. Sorry for errors but English isn't my mother language..

Strange mesh polygons inside uml files

I have been investigating an older pacman-style game: Pickman 3D. It is really fun to play and my cousins love playing it every single day. With a little background programming experience, I started looking into the files the game is made of.

There is one archive.game file which is easily decompressed using Game Extractor. Inside are practically all the game files, no need to decompress further, as I have seen on some other games. Copying all these files into the root directory and deleting the archive does not seem to stop the game from running. I can now edit and test on the go. Music is in .xm format, but .wav music files seem to work fine. Different file formats: .xml, .max and .mft. .max and .mft files have shown to be simple .xml files with information.

The levels are coded in .xml files as well:
Creaturehouse.xml - Determines the position and texture of the creature house where the monsters come from.
Episode.xml - Determines the music and data location for each level
LevelX.xml - Contains the amounts and positions of the dots, power dots (powerups) and the monsters.
LevelBlocksX.xml - Contains the data for the blocks that the level is made from.
LevelFloorX.xml - Contains the data for the underlying floor.
LevelViewX.xml - Contains camera information (probably about the top view)
RandomX.xml - Contains data on all the falling objects and their frequencies.
ViewX.xml - Contains camera information, definition of the origin and joins the .xml files together.
LevelBlocksX.xml and LevelFloorX.xml both contain unreadable code: xml version = 1.0

I could not open these files in any model viewer, so I took this binary code apart. No file extensions, but the headers are recognized as "macbinary 2 header" and "mp3 audio" for LevelFloorX.xml and LevelBlocksX.xml respectively.

The goal: to convert the unreadable polygon data to a better understandable form and back, so that I can create my own polygons for new levels. This conversion should really not be so complicated for 2D pacman style levels, I could make levels in an Excel sheet very quickly if only I were able to convert them to the right .xml code. That is what I need help with. Try it out for yourself, I included the files and a screenshot of a simpel level.

There is a pattern in the LevelFloor2 binary data if you look at it with a hex editor, but I did not get very far with that yet. LevelBlocks2 binary data is, well, crap. And this is for a simple level.

Sonic Blast Differences...

Okay so there are two main ports of Sonic Blast: the Game Gear version and the Master System version (by TecToy). Does anyone know if besides the fact that the Master System version had lower quality sprites (due to a much smaller hardware palette) and questionable hub and screen screen layout, if there was any other differences?

I'm asking to see if it is worth me ripping.
