Trouble extracting a Wind Waker model

Hello, my comrades. I've recently been interested in extracting and porting models from the GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Almost every single one of them have worked flawlessly, except for one little model.

The model in question is known as 'kusa (草)', or grass in English. I'm almost certain that this is the correct file I'm looking for, as the first stage contains 112 references to the entity. (It may be worth noting that the entity is referred to by the title of kusax1, kusax7, and kusax21 in these and almost all other circumstances.) For some reason whenever I try to decrypt it using yaz0 or some .rarc dumper the program inexplicably crashes. 

What's even more peculiar is that the model doesn't even seem to exist in the game files of the Wii U version (or if it does, it's renamed.) I've heard rumors that the foliage models are, in fact, a singular plane with textures applied. This seems practical -- and quite likely, at that -- but what's strange is that the models refuse to export at all. The attempts that do are completely futile and produce only a small 1 kb bmd file, of which contains nothing.

It would be wonderful if one of you fine gentlemen who inhabit this realm could attempt to dig something feasible out of this. I went ahead and attached the kusa.arc file for ease of access. Thanks in advance!

I extracted some sounds from Ninja Storm and got as far as converting them to a BNSF file but after that point I got confused. Apparently this method works (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f...=756186307) but I don't understand it at all, so could someone possibly dumb down this method for me or if there's an alternative method that'd work too. Thx

Double Dragon NES Abobo sprite sheet

I know for a fact the Abobo sprites in the Double Dragon NES section are incomplete, since they're missing all the Mode B sprites. What's the protocol for adding these? Do I make a full sheet to replace what's already there, or do I just make a sheet of the missing Mode B sprites and submit that separately?

Hey. I'm a very popular modder and data-miner from the Dragon Ball community. I work mostly with Xenoverse games. I've actually been here for over a year, but I want to be more active. At this time I've extracted and shared all the audio from Raging Blast 2 and both Xenoverse Games, as well as a few select models and textures. I could be swayed into ripping models from these titles but sadly they're both very time consuming so I won't likely do the whole games. If anyone needs any help with this sort of thing, feel free to ask. I'll do my best to respond to anything I know on the forums.

I need a few volunteers that can manage to rip TO's audio via Wii Scrubber and editing them using Audacity The reason is. my computer is messed up and I'm not able to rip any audio, I've managed to rip a few models from the game however not able to rip a world :Sadg your interested let me know larry

Ripping DQ GBC Attack/Spell Animations

A rather tedious request, I may make it a commission. 

I would like someone with a good deal of free time to rip the various spells/attacks from DQ1-2, DQ3, DQM, DQM2, all for the GBC.
(Not the monsters animations from DQ3 just the weapons and spells.)

I know that the attack animations can all be found using the Debug codes for DQ1-2, DQ3, and DQM. It's just a matter of ripping them.

I'll probably need the sounds too but that's not nearly as bad. (I'll do that myself)


If anyone would want to do this send me a PM I'll give you how I need it done. I'll also provide save states accessing the Debug mode for DQ1-2, DQ3, and DQM. (its kinda a pain getting to that screen)

I haven't seen anything out of this game at all anywhere, so I figured I may as well bring it up here. Everything in the system is packed into 'Linkdata' files, other than  the movie files. I'm not sure what sort of  formatting  the models  or  textures would be at this point, so I was hoping someone skilled could look into this. I want to get some  of the exclusive costumes from this game (namely Ganondorf's Wind Waker based costume), as it seems there will be no release of them to the Wii U version (which sucks, really).

Modify Pre-Approved Model Upload?

Hi guys,
So a mod here on the VG Resource suggested some changes/fixes to make to my models that I uploaded. I've done that and re-uploaded most, but one of them in particular was pre-approved, meaning it'll be auto-uploaded when the associated game is approved. I have a much better version of the model now, so how would I be able to change the pre-approved model to the new one on my hard drive? If a mod could get in touch and either revert it to a pending model or change the file themselves should I provide it, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I have been searching for a bit now and can't seem to find any info about using FSKA animations at all, besides that BrawlBox MIGHT have it in the future (commented code.) Any info you guys could give me is appreciated, I've pretty much hit a dead end.
