Hey, guys! ^^

I'm ShyGuyXXL, new here. :>
You may know me from other places like the Warioforums. ...or not. ^^

I love sprites, make some myself, and I thought a few games needed more sprite rips so... instead of waiting for them or begging for them I signed up to upload them myself. Big Grin

My first few sheets are gonna be Wario related. Some Wario Land 3, some 2, maybe other series. We'll see.

Hello, everyone.
I am looking for a possibility to extract models from a xe file.
The files come from the game yo-Kai Watch.
One person has already been kind enough to provide me with tools to extract the textures and I am now looking for how to extract the models.
I don't know if there are any tools for that.

Hello everyone!

After some consideration, I decided to post in this forum looking for help on converting models from TMS#FE into a format that's acceptable on TheModelsResource!

I've been ripping models and textures from the game on-and-off, and have built up a pretty nice collection already, but have limited knowledge on things concerning modelling and 3D editing programs.
If possible I'd like to make all the things I've ripped so far public, which is why I'd like to ask for help from anyone more knowledgable than me when it comes to file formats, UVs, bones, ect.

Here's the facts and what models I have ripped so far:
  • Every model in in a .bfres format
  • I have ripped the HQ textures, .obj and .mtl files from these .bfres files
  • The .obj files' UVs seem to be hit or miss
  • After importing them into 3DS max, the entire model behaves like one mesh (I think)
  • Bones are correct but immoble. Don't know enough 3D to give a better description
Here's a list of models that I've ripped so far.
  • All Player Characters
  • All Player Character Skin (NA/Censored Version)
  • All allied Mirages
  • All Mirage Promotions
  • All Mirage "objects" (Pegasus, Bikes)
  • Maiko, Barry, Tiki models and Skins
  • All Rapiers
  • All Swords
  • Store Clerk models (Shio/Anna)
Just as proof that I'm not making a fool of anyone, two screenshots of an imported .bfres and applied textures.

Hi guys, I'm close to becoming part of the dragonball online global development team
the rest of the team is working on the game, fixing it and bringing it back for many years
im supposed to bring new 3d content to the game but thats for later
my job is to find a way to add new meshes ingame

extracting is no problem i even made a video

with shakotays tool from 2013

but sadly his tool converts the .dff hex data to obj

best would be a fbx format for me with a skeleton and the model should be already rigged

so i can use that rig and add new meshes and assign them to that skeleton

since its renderware, same engine for gta sa and gta sa has been modded a lot with new meshes and animations
maybe some modding genius can help me find a way to do the same for dragonball online dff mesh files

Hello guys , I want to present a little fan game which I'm working using the Smash Bros gameplay as a reference (Super Smash Bros saga, Digimon Rumble Arena, etc.).
The project is being developed in Unity engine and 3DS Max for the characters, animations, stages, etc. I can say that the provisional name (or final, I don't know) is "Battle Arena All-Stars".

I have to say that is not a project to win money, only to do in the free times because we love the Smash Bros style [Image: laugh.gif] (like Super Smash Flash, for example).

Hey guys! I'm sure this is a bit unrelated, but first I would like to thank everyone in this community for what they do.
I've been using Sound Resource for the better half of the year. I couldn't do what I do without you guys.

I hope this doesn't come off as to self-promotiony (that isn't a word..) but I'd like to share what I have been doing with the ripped sound effects you guys work so hard to obtain.





I've made about 30 videos where I replace the sound effects found in my favourite game, Splatoon with other favourites such as Mario and Kirby, to unrelated games such as Candy Crush and Angry Birds.

If you guys can think of a way I can make these even better, I would love to hear!
On a low-key note.. any word on Splatoon 2 sound effects being ripped? I don't know how long these things take.

I've been working on a side-scrolling shooter using Construct 2, with the working name of Javelus. Its inspirations are varied, but the basic idea is that Bio-weapons have taken over the world and your job is to stop them. The sprites are either placeholders borrowed from other games or not very high-quality, but the particle effects are fairly well-done. Two notable features are that is compromises between one-hit-point and a health bar by giving you a health bar but starting you at one hit point (you increase health via power-ups) and the fast that you finish off bosses using the Absorber, which allows you to copy one of their attacks. You start with a basic shot, but gain attacks as you defeat bosses; there will also be shout-outs to other side-scrolling shoot 'em ups (namely innovators of the genre like Gradius and R-type) and The game is thus far playable up to stage 2.

The first Boss, it its third phase. Its first phase mimics you, but shoots aimed thorn shots instead of your shot.

The second stage homages Gradius Gaiden by being a graveyard of Core warships. Of course, the exact graphics are subject to change, and the Big Cores use part of the Tileset, which is a placeholder. I'm thinking of making the Boss Big Core Mk. II, which would present a challenge both to recreate and for the players to fight.

Hey, again. I just got into the Custom/Edits craze lately, and started with an edit to one of my previous rips (the Animaniacs HUD thing if you want to know already...). I have two versions of it. One is the edit with the original size of the Genesis version (to match with the items having their original scales,) and another one with a smaller appearance (to match with the cutscene and title sprites [as well as any other thing in the GB version that has been shrunken with an ugly resolution.) However, I don't really know which one should be submitted.

SNES Ripping Problem for BizHawk

I have no idea how I'm going to be able to rip Sprites from the SNES Mode of BizHawk.

Because for some reason, I can't seem to get to the Graphics Debugger because the feature is gray and disabled.

User-friendly methods for ripping Sega arcade sprites

Hello, fellow sprite-rippers! Big Grin

Today, I was thinking about ripping sprites from a arcade game by Sega (Namely, Altered Beast, since it's TSR page is rather barebones sheet-wise). However, I could not find the sprite tiles anywhere in MAME's tile viewer. Sad

Now I had read on several webpages (Including some on this site) that a majority of Sega's arcade games need to have ROM files merged in order for the sprites to show up in the tile viewer, but this process sounds a bit too complicated for this small horse's brain, so I'd like to know if there any more user-friendly methods of ripping sprites from Sega arcade games.

So,i've been trying to rip Mama's model (i don't need any of the textures,since i have them saved),but i still could'nt.I tried using Ninja Ripper,and even tried some tutorials.There are no .dat files,and the asset files are called resource and shared assets 0-15.Also,i tried Unity Studio,but it says no children right next to the asset files.

The walk cycle seems atrocious to me, not really sure how I want the wing cape to follow --- I envisioned it like a raincoat when folded but here I tried them flapping more like arms. The sword swings a rough as well I'm working on  a more fluid one.

I tried to upload this in Mega Man Custom/Edits but it was rejected.
Any ideas of how improving it to meet the standard qualities?
