Toad/Captain Toad/Throne - Super Mario Odyssey

Would anyone be able to upload the models of Toad and Captain Toad in Super Mario Odyssey please? (Bonus points if it can come with Captain Toad's tent). Toadette is uploaded but somehow Toad and Captain Toad aren't; one would think Toad would be easier to rip than Toadette, given how she has a lot more parts (her extra clothing and her mushroom pigtails)
I'm in awe at how much of the game's models are already uploaded.

EDIT: Also, is someone able to upload the throne from that game?

Texture Extraction Tool Needed

Well I've got just about every route possible for me to acquire these textures, and nothing has worked out. This is my last hope. I'm offering up to 50.00 USD for a texture extraction tool for these files. Price in negotiable. PM me if you're interested. Here are the files I have that need the textures extracted.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xpte62e4vpi9zd...t.zip?dl=0

DO NOT just extract them without telling me you're interested in this job. If it is extracted and posted here without terms being set up, I will consider it a free job, especially if no tool is supplied to extract the formats. PLEASE PM me with your propositions, and where to send the payment to. I use paypal, so it should be easy to get set up.

Also here's an archive of what came from the DTT's when extracted with a Platinum Games DAT bms. It might help but I don't know if they were extracted properly.

I have the files from the latest mobile game Mega Man X DiVE closed beta.
The game runs on Unity, and AssetStudio can read the files on the .apk just fine, but the additional data seems to be unreadable.

The BEST UE/ Unity model, and sprite ripping tools tools

So people seem to think Unreal, unity models and sprite ripping is hard. So here are some tools I use that help me alot with model/ sprite ripping. First, off the sprites. DevXunity rips all images at once making sprite ripping very useful. An you can get the program here: http://devxdevelopment.com/Download  You will need the DevXUnpackerMagicToolsArchive.zip files.

If you don't want to use thr trial version. I found a v 2 crack version here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/f0uhboq6p...k.zip/file
This build is great for ripping android and pc  sprites/ models from older games. I think it has to be roughly unity 3/ UE3 and below. Otherwise, you need the uncracked devXunity.

Now UE viewer by Gildor is a great UE4 model ripping tool: https://www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel

I highly recommend putting the exe and sdl2 in the root of the UE game you want to rip from. Now yes this part is kind of trial and error but, it's not time consuming. When, you load the program. An select a asset in the window the pops up. UE viwer will ask for a UE4 engine. Usually, v4.17-4.19 seems to work the best from what I've noticed. Anything newer seems to be used less in steam games.

Tho, you will need to keep trying different options if the tool crashes. This is why I said it'd be trial and error. But, youll find the UE version a game uses easy enough. An when you load a model . Go to tools and export current object. The model rips will be in the same folder as the UE4 ripper exe. So keep an eye out for a folder called UmodelExport.

For easy unity model ripping . You can use the Unity asset tool found here: https://github.com/RaduMC/AssetStudio/releases
The tool looks for assset files to dump models. I find it very useful for unity ripping models. So it works great for android model extraction.

Mostly the main 4 Characters and all weapons models and weapon hand models

There are to versions of this game as well, the PC and Dreamcast port
I prefer PC models, but if that is somewhat harder to get, Dreamcast will do as well.

Cant get models from WOG (Unity)

Hello everyone,

first post here, so dont be too harsh if I overlooked something.
I need your help with a sideproject of mine. I want to rip the models from a Unity game called World of Guns: Gun Disassembly - But so far all my attempts failed.
There was a topic here 3 years ago which also lead nowhere.

I myself are quite inexperienced when it comes to ripping models, so i am not sure if what I tried was actually the correct method to get the files.
When checking the recourse.assets with UABE it doesnt have any relevant meshes inside. Nor does any other of the .assets in the game folder.
Usind ninja ripper gives me a genereic error message when running the game.
3DVIA Printscreen just does not work with this game.

But it really bugs me, that i cant find the models in the asset files. The recources.assets.ress file is quite big, so my guess is that the models and textures are in there, but I havent figured out how to open that one...

I would really appreciate your help a lot, since getting those models would save me a FUCKTON of time.

Have a great day everyone Big Grin

Daniel-San from the Karate Kid game

I ripped the sprites from the game by using the method of turning the background pink and recording the gameplay, it was pretty fun to do. It is my very first sheet, and yes, it is very limited because LJN was kinda lazy with the animation

This is him on his kimono by the way, he only wears it on the prologue (The Karate Tournament)

At first it got rejected due to empty space, tried to reduce it as much as I could now

Here it is

Sonic in "Super 32X/Chaotix" style

I'm not too sure if this would get accepted to TSR (it may look like a recolor to some), as you may have seen a preview in my previous thread, I'm working on a custom Sonic sprite that gives him a "Super 32X" (a.k.a Chaotix) style, I know that some users have attempted to make other Sonic characters in a Knuckles' Chaotix style (like Tails done by Doc Melonhead), but now Sonic should deserve the Super 32X treatment since he hasn't yet. I've shaded Sonic based from characters in Knuckles' Chaotix and his mouth from his Crackers sprite. His body is based on his 3K sprite. Bear in mind this is only a proof-of-concept. More sprites would come if feedback is provided that it would get accepted to TSR. If not, I'll make if any changes are suggested.
Feedback or suggestions to improve is appreciated.  Smile

Hi. I'm having a problem with AssetStudio. So when i try to export a texture or sprite it keeps saying that PVRTexLibWrapper.dll is unable to load. Is there any way how i could fix this? Or is there a fix for PVRTexLibWrapper.dll? Send some advice about how to fix this or send a zip file of the fixed dll file. Thanks.

Community Project: Super Tempo

Howdy Spriters Resource users, I'd like to pitch a community project to rip Super Tempo for the Sega Saturn, a title I'm sure many of us are familiar with.

Super Tempo is a beautiful platformer and the third entry in the short lived Tempo series, following Tempo on the Sega 32X, and Tempo Jr. for the Game Gear. Developed by RED Entertainment (known today for the Sakura Wars and Record of Agarest War series), this entry wouldn't see a release outside of Japan and has become something of an obscure title.

I'm asking for the community's help on this one because while I prefer to manage projects on my own, this title has continued to be pushed back by other projects I've worked on. It's a game that's a great resource to pixel artists and animators alike, and I feel it deserves some focus. To that end, I've submitted a couple of sheets both large and small which should prove my own interest in seeing this game ripped. I'm more than happy to provide setup and help for anyone interested in working on this, and I've even gone so far as to complete the game and compile a master list of save state data for all the stages and bosses (more on that later).

Getting to the actual ripping, the Sega Saturn is fairly easy to work with, although seasoned sprite rippers can expect the usual tedium that comes with compiling sprites. The Yabause emulator features a series of built-in tools for viewing both sprite (VDP1) and background (VDP2) data.

[Image: WjPSmE7.png]  [Image: LBuQYfz.png]

Using VDP1 for example will allow you to cycle through all the displayed sprites on-screen, and save them individually as .bmp image files.

From there you'll have to compile them into the on-screen image manually. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SCREENSHOT RIP THIS GAME. Aside from being an amateur ripping technique, the game has subtle issues with displaying the graphics at the wrong resolution, causing misalignment and other errors. The screen should only ever be used as a reference if you're having difficulties compiling sprites.

[Image: fZzktBG.png]  [Image: 3E6QNCC.png]

Compiling sprites is often easy, but occasionally Super Tempo will feature sprites that layer into other sections to save on graphical space. In the example below, you can see how Super Tempo's hand, knee, and foot sprites share some of the data that's already found in other sprites.

[Image: l3Tu7L9.png]  [Image: Bl0wKLP.png]
Yabause also presents a small issue with ripping in that it only includes a Frame Pause function, and not a Frame Advance function like most emulators. Normally this means you'd have to be quick on hitting the Pause and Play buttons, but this issue is mitigated to some degree by Super Tempo's incredible pause feature that works in almost the entire game, cutscenes included! It's not the perfect solution but hitting start on the frames you need is vastly easier than gliding your hand on the mouse around the window and praying you're quick enough.

Discussing what I mentioned earlier, if anyone is looking for help either setting up or ripping from this title, don't hesitate to fire me a PM. As mentioned before, I've completed the game and created a list of save data that can be found here. It should be easy to figure out where everything goes, but I've thrown together a small readme in case anyone has trouble.

I'm looking forward to seeing who's interested in working on this project!
