Looking for Animal Models from Zoo Tycoon 2 DS

I've been looking for a way to rip the models myself for the past couple days, only to be met with dead ends. The model type the game uses (.nbma) seems to be quite uncommon, so none of the major tutorials for DS model ripping seem to work for ZT2DS. I always feel bad having to ask other people to do something for me, but it appears that I'm left with no choice in this case.

Here's what models I'm looking for, ordered from most desired to least:
  • The "Amazing" Animals - Sabre-Tooth Cat, Triceratops, Unicorn, and Yeti
  • The Bottlenose Dolphin and Califronia Sea Lion
  • Everything else - 30 animals (would be lengthy to list them all here)
If anyone here is able to lend me a hand with this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Help Ripping Hyrule Castle from Zelda Oot!

If anyone can help, I'm trying to get the ripped models (with textures) in .OBJ format of Hyrule Castle, the Castle Courtyard and the Hyrule Castle Market (I know most of it is just a panoramic scene) from Zelda Ocarina of Time, not Oot 3D.  I'm surprised no one has uploaded any of these maps already since it is such a popular game.  I'd really appreciate any help with this!

I would do this myself, but I don't know hardly anything about ripping models and when I've tried it in the past, nothing works. :-P

Help Ripping Exterior of Haunted Mansion from Game!

Hello,

There's a great game called the Haunted Mansion which came out in 2003 for Play Station 2, Game Cube, Xbox, and Game Boy Advance based on the Disneyland ride and movie.  There is an intro scene and the end scene which shows the beautiful exterior.  I'm just wondering if someone could help me find out if this model is in the game files?  If so, can it be exported as an .OBJ file (with textures hopefully)?

Thank you!

Hello! My name's Chris Amburn and I want to make my first video game. I've self-published board and card games over the years, but I've always wanted to make my own video game since I was a wee baby. For my first project I'm taking Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves for the NES and remaking it in Game Maker. I want to keep it semi-faithful but improve its shortcomings, so I'll have a lot of questions about NES Limitations and pixel art in the future!

Ripping Non-Sappy music from GBA Roms

Hi! New poster here.
I was trying to not avail to rip music from Duel Masters - Shadow Of the Code from the GBA ROM. Tried GbaMusRiper and "No sound engine was found" error came up. So I guess it's not in sappy sound engine. Question is: ¿Is there something I can do to rip the files from other tipes of sound engines? (Recording from the game is not an option, just wanted to clarify).
I would love to have the sound files directly from the game, as every OST on youtube sounds like in a can.
Thanks for you help in advance Big Grin Smile

I'm trying to look into the Sonic Free Riders game and all the files extracted have no extension, except from free files
"NuiIdentity.bin.be"
"default.xex"
"Database.xmplr"
and the files in the Sound, Shader and Movie folders, everything else is just extensionless, could someone help me with this?

Has anyone ripped the DLC characters' portraits from 1.2.0 yet? I'm looking for the Ashen Wolves' pre- and post-timeskip portraits, all expressions included, though other characters (Aelfric, NPCs, etc.) would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

PS2/NDS Kim Possible model ripping?

Ayo, I'm currently making a Kim Possible mod for Sonic Mania, and one of the things I have to do is replace the Sonic model in the Special Stage with one of Kim. I've tried all the tools I have (Console Tool, MKDS Editor, PCSX2,) but nothing works.  Shocked

Either the model from the DS games (Kimmunicator and Global Gemini) or PS2 game (What's the Switch) will do, although I'm kinda in a hurry with my patience. All I need is a way to do it with the roms I have.

Thanks in advance!  Wink

How to open PCSX2 model captures in Blender?

$

Hello there, people! How are you today?

So, I saw this thread here where someone imported PCSX2 model captures into Blender (looks like version 2.79), and I was thinking about doing the same thing for sake of experimentation with Wild Arms 3 rips (which unfortunately have backface culling), but I can't seem to find the models I import into Blender. Is there something that needs to be done in order to edit them properly?

Just started this today. Would love to see a hack of Nightmare on Elm Street. I found this pic of the Hellraiser screen on the internet and used the sprites on this site to make Kristy (the girl in white). More to come:

Making a thread here as well since I saw some people interested in the games not aware of this plugin.
A few weeks ago I released a Noesis script for the G1M format, used in many Koei Tecmo games.

Examples of games with that format :
-Dissidia NT
-Fire Emblem Three Houses
-Atelier games
-Fire Emblem Warriors
-Hyrule Warriors
-Dead or Alive 6
-Persona 5 Scramble
-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
-Berserk
-One Piece Pirate Warriors 3
-Dragon Quest Builders 2
-Dragon Quest Heroes
-Nioh
-Toukiden
Etc etc

Main features
-view and export any g1m model file
-view and export most g1t texture files (Wiiu Swizzle not supported yet but Vita, PS4, Switch, X360 are)
-view and export most g1a/g2a skeletal animations

Important note for animations :
As the cloth meshes are supposed to be simulated by physics at runtime they won't move at all, which means you'll see cloth pieces staying at their T-Pose position. Only the so-called "driver mesh", which is a simplified surface of the cloth mesh, will follow the movement. You'll have to rig these meshes to the control points (bones on the driver) , use actual cloth simulation or use data transfer on the driver meshes.

There are quite a few other features, go through my xentax thread here to see them https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=21666
Make sure to see my partner Yretenai's tools for assets extraction too https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=21679

A few examples :

Tool : https://github.com/Joschuka/fmt_g1m

Credits :
-My partner Yretenai who helped me by providing me samples, figuring out the formats with me, developping custom tools and writing binary templates.
-Semory/Howfie who did a phenomenal job figuring out most of the g1m/g1t formats, the gas machine source code was my main reference when working on the plugin.
-Chrrox and MrAdults for their help during the development and their Noesis scripts that I used as reference.
-Acewell for his Noesis scripts for various texture formats that I used as reference.
-VitaSmith for the gust-tools which helped us for g1t
-Ploaj for his work on cloth type 1, which helped me to better understand the computation needed for this cloth type
-Daemon's NT Tool, which output was used as reference for some models.
-Eternity, who we teamed up with to figure out the animation formats.
-PredatorCZ for his help on the animation binary template when we hit a dead end.
-Delguoqing for his research on g1a
-S-ilent, who provided me some BE samples and pushed me to add BE support.
-DeathChaos who provided me samples, tested the plugin and proposed some features.
-Demonslayerx8 for a lot of testing and samples sharing.

What best converters to use on TIM2 and ART2 Image files? (or other unusual formats)

$

So my asset extraction progress got up to the point where it spits out folders upon folders of mysterious files (it has no identifiable format, and just says "file" in Windows)
Opening them in Notepad shows "Tim2" and "art2" labels, and upon Googling they seems to be some sort of unusual or encrypted image files? Any idea what to use to turns these into regular JPG/PNGs? I Googled and found nothing.

Also speaking of unusual... I came across this ZIP folder in my game assets folder and the files are labelled "psb" and "jpg.a". Neither files would open in normal image viewers, so I assumed that those were archived/encrypted as well. If anyoen knows what these are, some help is appreciated.

Could someone possibly rip the models from "Go West: A Lucky Luke Adventure [PC]"?

$

I'm currently attempting to transfer some models from "Go West: A Lucky Luke Adventure" (the PC or Wii version, whichever one is easier to extract considering they share the same ones) into VRChat, however my experience in extracting is limited as I'm only good at rigging models already provided.

More specifically I only really require the models of Lucky Luke & the Daltons, so don't be stressed to do more than you have to (unless you choose to, of course).

Would very much appreciate a response whenever possible;
regards
