Yugioh .mdl ripping

hey guys.
I recently came across a archive that got a bunch of .mdl files from the yugioh online 3 game.
the game got quite a bunch of characters with decent models and since yugioh doesnt get any 3d love for the characters they are probably the best models for most characters.
Anyone could check out the .mdl to see if it possible to convert it to a usable format? Only the mesh and uvs would be fine. Doesnt realy need to have skinning or normals.

Hello there, I'm new here in the VG Resources, so I've browsed by some time and I like every content of here, I found some rare pieces that I want to share here  Big Grin .

I'm one of the M.U.G.E.N. community, not researched at all, haven't done any big project, but wanna be a very good one, and in Sounds terms I do like to share the things I found.

Anyway, I hope to have a very great stance here, sharing and enjoying the sounds I find.

Sincerely.

Mass editing WAV files?

I have about 600 WAV files that I need to convert from stereo to mono in order to get them accepted to the site. Now, I'd like to change/edit and then overwrite all these files at once instead of doing each file individually, or at least do it in batches of like, 50 or 25 files. Audacity lets me do the change to mono on all tracks at once, but it seems I still have to re-export each one of them individually, with no option to just overwrite the source file. Is there anything I can do or any software that allows me to speed up this process?

If you can help me with this please make your answer idiot proof since I'm still pretty new to working with audio software, and also an idiot. I can show you my certificate if you want. Anyway, help would be much appreciated.

Fire Emblem Heroes Sprite Ripping Guide

So. Let's say you want to rip some sprites from Fire Emblem Heroes. Maybe it's a unit's full artwork, or maybe you want to see their chibi. Well, look no further. In this thread, I'll detail the steps you'll need to take to rip from FEH... how I do it, at least.

Need Help Ripping Models/Textures from Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon

I've got Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon extracted when I wanted to rip the models and textures from it, and now I need some help on how to actually rip the models and textures for model porting purposes. I'm also thinking of uploading these models to the Models Resource, but that's only if I get the models and textures just right when I rip them.

Thanks again, MovieMaker X

I joined the VG Resource a few days ago, because I visit this website lots and decided I might as well make an account. I don't think I'll contribute too much to this website, since I don't rip things or whatever, but this is a great organisation and I thought I might as well join. (Oh God, I sound like that old woman who put the mentos in the Coke, good grief.)

Alternative to N3dsCmbViewer?

Hey,
I know that N3DSCmbViewer is one of, if not the only tool available to rip models from .zar files (such as from Ocarina of Time 3D/Majora's Mask 3D). However, when I export those models from the .zar files for outside usage, I find that there is no skeleton (so I can't re-create animations using them), and the vertex count is bloated, often doubled or tripled, because of excess, stray vertices.

Is there another tool out there that has the same function as N3DSCmbViewer (Exporting models from .zar files), but without the mentioned issues?

With hope,
Conrad

Need Help Ripping Models From Zelda: Majora's Mask

I am very new to ripping, hence why I immediately decided to jump into the apparently very involved process of ripping from the N64. Seeing that Majora's Mask had few models uploaded, I set my sights on it. Naturally, I immediately ran headfirst into an impenetrable wall of problems, which is why I'm posting here. Anyway, let's get into my questions.

Quick background:
  • I am using this guide, although I am using Project64 instead of 1964 because both seem to work, and I am using Blender as the 3D editor throughout the process because I already know how to use it and didn't feel like jumping down the Milkscape-whatever rabbit hole.
  • I searched this forum for coverage of the game, but only found topics related to its 3DS remake. Thus, I apologize if my questions retread common ground.
  • Again, I'm very green in the field of ripping, so please don't lapse into too much jargon.

The Questions (finally, am I right?)
  • Models must be ripped by taking a screenshot of the game while the model is present, right? There's no other way? And if this is so, how are unused models ripped?
  • When I imported the .wrl files into Blender, I got error messages and the scene didn't load. However, when I used an older version of Blender, the model was imported, but some elements of it weren't. Would these problems go away if I started using Milkscape3D or something? Is anyone familiar with Blender enough to tell me what's going on?
  • I tried to rip curled-up Goron Link from a scene, but some of the parts of his model facing the ground were gone, leaving a hole. Does Majora's Mask employ some form of culling? If so, how is ripping an entire scene possible?
  • Viewing the scene in textured mode revealed that the textures were not applied correctly in some cases, mainly on the level geometry (they repeated too early and in irregular ways). Is there some way to correct this? (I don't plan on ripping areas, but I want to know in case something like this happens with a model I do want to rip)
  • Is there something unique about Majora's Mask that makes it difficult to rip models from? Its page seems suspiciously barren for such a popular game.
Optional Question:
  • Does anyone here know how to get into modding Majora's Mask? I've heard it's hard from somewhere (and also deduced as such from the rarity of hacks for it), but looking online yielded no tutorials whatsoever.

"Other Systems" project - Sounds Edition

$

Wow, this subforum doesn't even have a second page! Tragic, but I figured I'd throw my hat here and lay out an "other systems ripping" project here.

* Dreamcast: 13
* Saturn: 3
* 3DO: 5
* Amiga / Amiga CD32: 1
* CD-i: 4
* Game Gear: 3
* Gizmondo: 14
* Hyperscan: 5
* Sharp X68000: 1
* TurboGrafx-16: 1
* V.Flash: 2
* WonderSwan / WSC: 1

So there are 2 consoles that are on the main list on here and some of the consoles from the "other systems" are not present, why? Because this project is meant for like getting them up to the point where they become a "full system". Giving them an alphabet category, highest submitter etc. The game count in order to do so is 15 if my estimates are correct.

Just finished this. This really is my last one for a while. The pic on the bottom isn't mine, it's from a shirt from Hot Topic. Credit to SmithyGCN for the Burger Time sprite rips.
