I actually tried to add Tamagotchi 2 into TSR 4 years ago (2016), but that was rejected because no one has uploaded the sprites of the game. Now, I made this post since there are no sprites of other two GB Tamagotchi games (Game de Hakken!! Tamagotchi 2 and Game de Hakken!! Tamagotchi: Osucchi to Mesucchi) in TSR.

Models & Textures of Kirby's copy ability trophies from Smash 4 Wii U

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, there are additional trophies which features the copy ability variants of Kirby.
I want to point out that Kirby has minor-modified version of his textures from Kirby's Return to Dream Land (which is already ripped within the model on The Models Resource) instead of his in-game textures (some trophies have the eye texture from Smash 4) on his Smash 4 copy ability trophies, unlike the previous games.

Since Random Talking Bush has ripped Kirby's model from Kirby Air Ride for his Kirby Ragdolls addon for Garry's Mod, but I thought that it's obvious that there isn't Kirby's model from Kirby Air Ride in The Models Resource. Note that Kirby's model from Kirby Air Ride is actually a base of his model in Kirby's Return to Dream Land (which reuses his texture with minor modifications).

Apparently these types of files are recurring in certain 3DS games, though none of the extraction methods I've found could properly extract/decrypt these. I managed to seek out some certain filenames within them such as the familiar 'CGFX' and 'CMDL', which are very common. So it's just a matter of figuring out how to extract the internal files from these archives. Here's the two primary files I've been searching through.

Some of the models from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse/Paintbrush are ripped on The Models Resource, but Kirby's models and voice clips are not ripped at all.

I'm trying to get the model of Monstro the whale (not the maps, but the actual character). I've attempted a couple of (likely outdated) tutorials I found online, and successfully dumped character models from KH1, but after looking through them all on Noesis, the model I'm looking for was nowhere to be found. I've attempted trying other games like BBSFM and DDD, and was even less successful with them.

I was wondering if someone can help me out, maybe rip it for me since I'm having rotten luck.

Hey, thought y'all might like this, a web app I made that lets you view 3d and 2d assets from ps1 games. You can grab sprites by right clicking and saving, but I don't have 3d exporting yet. But they're all converted to threejs, so should be an easy feature to add. If there are features y'all would like to see, please let me know.

Its been a long time but i want to get back into spriting. i used to comb thru the website here a long time ago and make sprite comics.
Never did join the forum though, so hello. Its nice to finally say that. To the mods that are keeping this website going, you have my thanks.

Drawn to Life Wii is Really Confusing

I recently posted this in the Help Me forum, but after looking around, it seems lie this is the better place for it to be.

So, I just recently got into ripping and emulating games, and one of the games I wanted to start with was Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter for the Wii. I came across quite a few roadblocks in getting to where I am now, and I really need some help on where to go from here, because the rest of the internet has been no help whatsoever.

So, I'll try to walk you through the process I've taken so far. I installed Homebrew and CleanRip onto my Wii and got the .iso for the game onto my Computer. I had to join the files together, and then I loaded the game using Dolphin. Everything worked fine so far. I decided to start by ripping some sprites, and that was also really successful. Now comes the bad part.

I decided to try to rip some models, and so I followed the steps in this thread to try and get the models. After extracting all the files in Partition 1, I began to look through them only to realize that there were no .brres files. Some of the file types I could open, or at least knew they weren't what I was looking for (.txt, .bnr, .img, .inf), but then everything else was either a .bag or .fsb file.

I checked inside all 3 folders, but only found .wad files in "_sys", and the only files in the "HomeButton" folders were .txt, .csv, .arc, and .tpl files, none of which I assume I need.

I ended up finding a way to open the .fsb files using foobar2000 and the vgmstream plugin, so I got those down.

Then the real reason why I came here. No matter where I look, I cannot find anything relating to .bag files in a Wii-related sense. I've Googled every possible combination of words, I even Googled ".bag" "file" "wii" and couldn't find anything. I reached out to experienced friends of mine, and couldn't get anything.

I was able to open the .bag files in HxD Hex Editor and, according to one of my friends, there are models apparently stored inside these files. I have no clue how I would even start to get these files out, so if anyone is able to help me with this, please reach out.

Is anyone interested in getting models from the mobile version of League of Legends which is Wild Rift? A lot of the models are so good, I want to use them for myself. 

It's a Unity engine game but I still don't know how to extract them and get their models.

Pokémon Black/White Trainer Card assets?

I noticed that the page for Pokémon Black/White is missing assets for the Trainer Card, which is kinda odd compared to other games in the series covered on Spriter's Resource. Anyone willing to rip that in particular? Granted, being a DS game, it's probably easier said than done, so no pressure. I just think the page feels "incomplete" without it.

Convert a screenshot to tilemap

Hi' all,
New to the forum - but avid user of the TSR site :-)

For fun I created a tool to convert screenshots to tilemaps.

Example: Feed it a 1:1 screenshot from arcade Bubble Bobble or C64 Bruce Lee - and it will output a tilemap file (png) with the tiles used and a level file using that tilemap (tmx) to recreate level/image.

It's done in Construct 3. Not optimal - but that was what I had available Smile
It works best with clean background images and will not magically remove player/enemy sprites - but just think of them as unique tiles. 
Remove any borders or margins from the image before converting, as this will likely cause it to miss the tile grid.

I don't know if anyone made a tool like this, but i didn't find one Wink
