2 Souls' Tale (Metroidvania Genre)

This is a hobby of mine. I make well-animated (most of the time) 8-bit styled sprites. This was to be a game, but I lack a programmer. The overall story is based on the concept of Captain N except with a female lead trying to find her friend and trying to leave the world of video games.

STORY
A man and a woman were on their way to meet each other for the first time when tragedy struck and the two were caught in a train accident. What would most definitely mean the end of them turns into a strange ordeal as they awaken in a world full of video game characters. Each kingdom, however, was torn apart by a being known as Dark Matter as it tried to make everything fall into its own version of order. After having awakened in this dimension, the two are marked by Dark Matter as intruders into its rightful kingdom and aims to have them eliminated. The two must find their way to each other and somehow leave this crumbling world. However, it won't be easy as everyone seems to be after them whether for good or evil intent.
