The title of this thread might sound a hair bit confusing, so I'm happy to explain what I mean here. Basically, the world of Hollywood is a small one, so it's expected that most actors play other roles in a variety of TV shows and movies. While they are usually easy to spot in another TV show when it's live action, when they need to lend their voice to an animated character, that's a different ballpark. Since it requires a bit of detective work (as in watching credits and looking up certain actors on web sites such as IMDb) to determine which actor plays what character, it actually is a lot of fun to know something like Mario's voice actor voicing Paarthurnax of Skyrim.
To share one of my more recent voice actor discoveries, I just found out that Kevin Spacey, the actor who plays Frank Underwood of House of Cards, is also the voice of Hopper in the Pixar film, a Bug's Life.
