Hi all, I used this forum last year to hire a sprite designer and was blown away by the creativity & quality of the work you guys do!
Now I'm developing a new game and would like to hire a sprite designer to create all the graphics for the game: characters, enemies, pickups, UI & environment tiles.
Here is some background about the game: (I will give more details & a brief to the hired designer)
I look forward to hearing and hopefully working with you soon!
Kind regards,
Mitchell
Now I'm developing a new game and would like to hire a sprite designer to create all the graphics for the game: characters, enemies, pickups, UI & environment tiles.
Here is some background about the game: (I will give more details & a brief to the hired designer)
- The game is for a non-profit in Australia who are leading the charge in helping young people make healthy life choices. E.g. not smoking, not doing drugs, eating healthy, etc etc.
- We've already got the game concept worked out, and a rough idea of what we want for characters & enemies. The enemies will be "bad habbits" - e.g. unhealthy foods, cigarettes, etc (see here for reference http://catshark85.files.wordpress.com/20...63_org.png - these were characters from a chewing gum ad).
- The game will be a platform style game like Double Dragon (e.g. you can moved back, forward, sideways, up & down).
- There will be multiple levels, and each level will have a mini-boss, with a final boss at the end.
- The style we want to go for is kind of cartoony - smooth vectors with outlines around everything (not 8-bit unfortunately). Not sure if that makes sense. I've tried to find examples of this kind of style around the web, here's what I could find:
