Solution: easy sprite ripping with snes9x

Hi there,

I've found a way to easily rip sprites with snes9x.
Old topics like this have no satisfactory solution, so I'll share mine:

What this patch does basically is change the default backdrop pixel of snes9x to a custom palette color (13 in this case). You may need to change it to another color to get a better fit, just make sure you're not overflowing the palette index.

This allows to easily isolate sprites and automate dumping their animations.

Hey everybody. I'm looking for a project to work on. Ideally an RPG but anything would work. My musical tastes/influences range from video game music composers like Uematsu and Mitsuda (FF/Chrono Trigger) to jazz fusion/funk  bands like Weather Report, Jaco Pastorius, Hancock, as well as prog rock guys like Gentle Giant, Dream Theater and classical music as well.

This is a WIP as I plan to make him in all the poses that the costumes in SMM make. But here is his idle frame:

iPhone battery replacement

Just wondering if there are any trusted groups that make iPhone batteries to replace old ones. While my current battery charges to 100% within an hour, it can drain just as quickly from consistant usage. i use it on long trips which therefore uses all of its power.

so yeah...anyone know where i can find longer-lasting batteries? (iPhone 6)

Hello, all! I'm new here, and what brought me here is a query. So, I'm looking at using the overworld sprites someone posted for LoZ LttP but I noticed it looks like there are seemingly random squares missing from some of the sprites on the sheet. I was wondering if someone could tell me why that is? Unsure

Heyo I have no idea how Blizzard games work, but I want to rip the sprays from the game.

.svg or .png is good for me. I know CascView can do it somehow (according to CascView's website), but I have no clue how to work CascView. At all.

Specific spray in question I'm looking for a rip of is
A guide on how to do this myself or someone posting em up for me would be heavenly.

Getting Unity Studio to export .fbx with skinning

I'm using the latest version of Unity Studio, and while it works good for the most part, sometimes the model I export to fbx won't preserve the skinning Sad . I've tried a lot of methods in order to get the models with their skinning in-tact, and like I said, it won't work sometimes. Am I the only one experiencing this, or is it just a bug with Unity Studio as a whole?

I want to rip models from Angry Birds Action!, in case anyone's wondering. It's Unity powered, so I'd like to use Unity Studio on it in order to rip the models WITH their skinning in-tact. Is there any other Unity model ripping tools that can rip models while preserving the rig and bones?

.STY (Style) file from PSX game [Who Wants to be a Millionaire]

Hi! Just downloaded jPSXdec. I am able to rip most of the sprites and sounds from most PSX games (like Ape Escape or Parappa the Rapper).

I have the italian version Who Wants to be a Millionaire - 2nd Edition, where the italian host reads every question and answer. I wanted to rip these sound files, but when I open the game in the program, I get these files:

I'm guessing PSX.STY contains all the game content, like voices, music or sprites.
I've been searching online the whole night about these .STY files, I downloaded a Style Player but it won't work.

So, I'm asking you: what excatly is a .STY file? How can I open and/or extract things from it? And, do you know other games that look like this?

Hello people of TheVGResource! I'm Zeldaboy14. Some here may recall me in other games as Zeldaboy07 (Club Penguin and Webkinz from 2007-9 to 2012) or Zeldaboy13 on MC classic. I do custom train modeling in my spare time for the Trainz series game, so I know a thing or two about 3D modeling. My prefered 3D modeling program is Blender. I began to rip game models with some help from TomixNscale89 starting with the Wooden Train, and loved ripping models ever since!

I've seen many posts of people actually being able to do this. yet they keep how they do it to themselves.

For those able to rip entire environments and models of gw2, please explain me how to do this.
I right now have high hopes for gameassassin, and yes I have it in english.
I even reverted to windows 7 from windows 10 (NO regrets)
