Are VGR Model textures rigged for animation?

I don't want to seem like I'm spamming but I figured a thread would be better for my question.

I just started playing with VGR models today. The rigging on a lot of the models is really handy. I was just wondering. I'm using Maya. I imported the FBX file and the textures, bones and model load perfectly. The models seem to use a single image to work in the character expressions. I see the models have textures for eye transparency and states. You know like eye open, half open, etc.,  (I happen to be working with pokemon models at the moment).


Is there an attribute or driven key on the models that can be changed to easily switch between textured expression states or does that have to be mapped manually every time you want the expression to change? I just wanted to know if I could save myself some work instead of doing that.

Armored Core 3 (PS2) .bin extraction help

Has anyone ever tried ripping the 3D models from the Armored Core games? I've tried searching, but I haven't found a way to extract the PS2 .bin format that From Software uses. I read that they might've used the same file system in other games, so perhaps there's some documentation somewhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I tried offzip, and that just extracted thousands of 1kb files. Here's what the ISO looks like (the files from 2002). Thanks for any help.

I also tried Texmod through an emulator, but it didn't give me very many usable files and the textures kept getting overwritten by the same filename.

Hi all, I'm very new to this and I have exhausted all I can from google. I am attempting to extract the model for Ecliptor in Power Rangers Legacys Wars. I am using the x64 version of ninja ripper v1.7.1. I am using Nox as the android emulator and viewing the models in Noesis. Everytime I rip it, I am able to get the background models to show up just fine, but what I assume is the Ecliptor model is just a pink and purple sphere. I am at a loss here and hoping for some help, thank you.

Help Ripping From 3D android Game? (Shining Nikki)

Cute Hi! I'm new to the forums and I'm in need of some help...you see, I'm trying to rip stuff from an android game called "Shining Nikki"
I've extracted the XAPK and the OBB with a zip extractor, but when I open the assests folder with asset studio there are no models/meshes. I'm honestly puzzled that I'm doing something wrong?

I wanted to ask about motion rip. I've seen plenty of motions which was ripped from f.e. Project DIVA games. Those was made using some Noesis scripts.
What's my problem? 
Well, I'm looking for some tutorial about using Noesis scripts to rip motions, loading it in blender and export as VMD (I've got a plugin for export). Also I'd like to know if there are some scripts to rip moves from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep[PSP] (and Tekken6[PSP]).
Is any possibility you could help me with that?

i supported the campaign, if you've never played the games but want to know more i would highly suggest getting the comic. 

also a new Earthworm Jim game is being made exclusively on the console nobody has heard about called the Intellevision Amico.

Here's hoping it goes onto other consoles later preferably the Nintendo Switch.

Written in Java, and not nearly finished, I present a 2D game made with a custom game engine (tentatively named the Vibrant Engine). It allows for easy map creation in about any image editing software and has a basic mana/magic system. Note: This version is actually two revisions behind the current one, but the current one is broken.

¿Alguien me puede ayudar con la extracción de los modelos?

Abrí los archivos obb del juego y puedo extraer todo lo que había, pero faltaban todos los modelos de los personajes.

Después de mirar bien, veo que los modelos de los personajes son del tipo "MonoBehaviour" y su peso es del modelo.
pero cuando intento extraerlo, dice "Seleccionar carpeta de ensamblaje".
y no sé cómo hacerlo, lo extraigo y se convierte en un texto simple.
¿Alguien sabe cómo convertir el ¨MonoBehaviour¨ a ¨Mesh¨?

Is it really that difficult to rip non-Nintendo assets?

I noticed the vast majority of ripped assets are from Nintendo games. Hell, even Overwatch only has 1 or 2 skins in its category when many have ripped it ad nauseum.

Is this just personal preference to avoid AAA or even just Western PC games in general? Or is it physically impossible?

Im not mad just really curious. Id love to know why there isnt really much going on in the non-Nintendo/JRPG front?

Super Punch Out Custom Sprites Redrawn

I've been away for a while and thought I would dip my toes back in to the sprite pool by revisiting and fixing my SNES Super Punch Out customs. After comparing with the sheets on TSR I noticed (to my horror and shame) I made them all too small. So with renewed inspiration I have redrawn them the correct size with some changes. From left to right they are: Glass Joe, Kid Quick, Pizza Pasta, Great Tiger, Don Flamenco, Von Kaiser, Soda Popenski/Vodka Drunkenski, King Hippo, Piston Honda/Hondo, Iron Mike (Punch Out Flash), Mac (Punch Out Arcade player character), Mr. Dream, Mike Tyson, Rocky Balboa, Muhammad Ali, Little Mac (NES), and Little Mac (SNES). I have included the first attempt for comparison.

Hi all.
I've been trying to get some models of the characters from this game, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right or not. I have dealt with Apicula, Tahaxan and Tinke, but I can not find the models. I'm not sure if they did not load, they have another name or format, or I just did not know how to search well. Specifically, I am looking for the models of the 8 playable characters, but I have only found the textures of two.

I've been tinkering with a Noesis plugin for models from the PC version of Disney Magic Kingdoms (Gameloft BDAE/BRES version 0,0,0,965) for the past few weeks.  The code could be cleaner and it's far from being a complete parser but for every model I've tested it can successfully get the geometry, basic textures, and bones/bone weights (if relevant).  Hopefully someone finds it useful! Smile
