FamiTan2 Character Sprites?

$

As you can tell by my Icon, I'm quite a fan of the Famicom Detective Club Series, and I have realized that there is a distinct lack of official media regarding one of the main characters Ayumi Tachibana, I feel that ripping not only her sprites, but the rest of the character sprites (and maybe backgrounds) could allow for more publicity of this underrated gem. I even found a pre-patched (English Translated) rom, in case you'd A, like to play or B, Rip sprites/sounds. I hope the ROM is helpful to ripping, as for I am only used to ripping from Clickteam.

Also if anybody here likes ripping models Ayumi's model from SSBM hasn't been ripped yet, I know that ripping one model isn't advised but her trophy is arguably the most infamous in Melee.

Tomotoru Models?

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to rip models from Tomotoru (That one Sanrio mobile game)? I'm asking because I only have an iPhone, and they make it unnecessarily hard to extract files from. I'm mainly looking for the character models because they're adorable but I'd also love the furniture and stuff too. I'm sorry, I hope I'm not asking for too much... if this isn't possible for any reason, just the original asset files would be fine too!

Struggling with Dragalia again, and I oop

I've already made way too many posts asking about this game, so I'll just make it short- I got every asset from Dragalia Lost quite easily, except for the voices and sound effects. They're not in the same place as all the other assets, and I can't find them anywhere else in the files... does anyone know where they actually are? I'm kind of at a loss here. Would this question be better suited for the game's Discord instead?

Models from this site, their bones, and Unity 3D--Best Option?

Hello to all.

I am lately dabbling in a lot of 3D modeling and Unity programming, and after finishing up my current projects, I'd love to take the next step.  The thing is, though, when it comes to character models I don't know quite what the next step is; mostly because there seem to be a lot of different options for how to approach boning models for Unity.  I'm going to break it down into what seem like three options.

Option 1: Download a model from this site, keep its default bones and skin, make animations for them, and then transfer the original model and original bones to Unity.

Option 2: Download a model from this site, delete the bones it comes with and make new ones in Max; maybe with the Biped system, skin it to those bones, make animations for them, and then transfer the original model and new bones to Unity.

Option 3: Download a model from this site, delete the bones it comes with, transfer the original model to Unity and utilize Unity's own boning, rigging, and animation systems.

I can see possible pros and cons to all three.  The first completes a lot of work for me but its bone naming and arrangement might not be intuitive.  The second lets me set things up in a way that would make sense to me, but be a lot more work.  The third might be the easiest, but I'm not sure how good Unity's bone system is, so I can't say for sure.  I do know that there are a lot of good animations available for Unity characters, but how easy it would be to custom-build animations in Unity compared to graphics programs, I don't know.

So to people here who are more familiar with all this, what do you think?

New Super Mario Bros U Level Backgrounds

So Level Backgrounds. Are they models? I'm asking this because they look like they are 3D in some sort of way. Also, I don't exactly know how to get them. All I have this Cemu and New Super Mario Bros U game folder. If you know to get/rip them then ill give you info on what's inside the game folder. I've even tried to search for them but nothing. So I'm asking here if they aren't models ill post this in one of the other resources.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 voice rips

So seeing that the only rips of XC2 sounds so far are the ones from Torna the Golden Country, I was wondering if we could get some voice rips from the base game. Knowing that there's a lot of content in the game, at the very least, having voice rips of the party members and their blades from the main game would be a nice start. Besides, I kind of do want to do something with the voice clips in the future, and having easy access to them would also be nice.

Any way to get the .mod files for Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate into Blender?

Recently dumped Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate and so far I've made good progress but 1 roadblock I've hit is the .mod files. I can't seem to get a way to import them into Blender or at least Noesis so I can convert them.
And yes before anyone says it, I know there's a 3DS Max script for it but given that I'm not a student and don't have that kind of money, I'm unable to obtain 3DS Max for myself so if you could omit any 3DS Max suggestions in the replies, please do so.

Any help appreciated.

How to rip Freddy Fazbear Pizzaria Simulator's sprites?

Hi, this is my first post on this forum, so I'm sorry if I missed some rule and make a mistake somehow. I don't rip sprites often, despite using the site a lot, so I might be missing something obvious and this is a stupid question.

I noticed that the game Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria Simulator (AKA Five Nights at Freddy's 6) was missing from the site, despite the other FNaF games being there. I planned on submitting the game for approval, but I had a really hard time figuring out how to rip sprites from that game. I had the program Texmod installed on my computer from a few years back to use on another FNaF game, but it was really inefficient so I tried to avoid using it. After researching for a while, I couldn't find any other alternatives, so I just used Texmod to rip the intro minigame, just so I could submit the game and hopefully get the ball rolling on ripping the sprites.

However, my submission was denied, with the reasons being "The sheet does not have a 1:1 pixel ratio. In other words, the sprites are resized or appear stretched in some way." and "These sprites do not appear to be ripped correctly due to how oversized and blurry they are. You're better off trying to extract them directly from the files if possible."

Like I said at the beginning, I'm still pretty new to actually ripping sprites, so I don't know where I went wrong. I copied and pasted the files onto the sprite sheet exactly how they were, I didn't change the size or alter them in any way. I don't know how Texmod works, so I don't know if I made a mistake or if there's just something wrong with the program I used, or if the program is even usable for directly ripping sprites?

The rejection DM said I could reply or post it on the forum for help, so I'm here to ask how to properly rip sprites from this game. I believe that the game engine used for the FNaF series is Clickteam Fusion 2.5 if I'm not mistaken, so I was wondering what other ways I could rip the sprites from a game in that engine? Even if I didn't make a mistake and it was just a misunderstanding or something, I'd still like to know if there's a way to just directly rip the sprites from the game instead of having to boot it up and manually save every sprite using Texmod. I don't even know if it's possible, but I don't want to just give up until I know where I messed up.

tl;dr How can I directly rip the sprites from a FNaF game, which uses the Clickteam Fusion 2.5 engine.

Also, here's the sheet I submitted so you can better determine where I made a mistake. I don't know if it's too big for the forum, I couldn't find a specific image size requirement in the rules so I apologize if it's too big.

Hello?

Hello forums!

I'm here because I want to add some files from Petit Computer that don't exist on this site - I think some of the inaccessible parts of the graphics sheets are interesting, and also I want the graphics to be easier to find.

Other than that, I don't know what I'll do here yet. Previously, I used this site to download sheets of SMB, and I looked at some of the pokemon sheets, but I didn't use it too heavily. Maybe I can add stuff for other games if I can find one that isn't done yet.

Nice to meet you all!

Looking for a partner for game.

Looking for a partner to help build a game. i am an artist and looking for a coder. preferred engine is on godot.

what i am looking for is someone easy to work with and creative. as since this is a partnership; i would love your creative input.

as for the game concept. low poly(n64 style) procedural map like what is in animal crossing. and it will be an action rpg. with sims like ai for npcs. i will handle the art completely. i just cannot code that well... i know this is a long shot. and as for payment if we decide to sell the game or receive patron support all will be split equally on profit. as i know this will be code heavy... once again i know its a long shot. and apologize if this does not seem fair at all as far as deals go. but either way thank you for at least looking at this thread.

Hello there!

I'm Scarab, I'm an adept spriter and occasionally rip sprites whenever needed.
Most of my spriting experience has come from Metroid, and it has helped me with spriting for SO many other games.
I'm hoping I can help expand the Super Metroid Sprite page with more content for everyone to use.

Is there a reason I can't login on the Spriter's Resource?

Yeah, I'm one of those new people.
It seems that I can't log in to any of the Resource sections, like the Spriter's Resource or The Sound's Resource for whatever reason, every time I hit the *login* option a blue screen pops up telling me to *"click here to return to the site you logged in from"* and then immediately puts me back on this page. https://www.spriters-resource.com
Is there a time limit or requirement I need to meet before I can log in there, or am I just being stupid?

*(terribly sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not really used to sites like this)*

Decompress arcade files

Is there a program to decompress arcade files, because unfortunately, most of them are compressed like the Super Nova System sprites for example. Palettes are also compressed too, as i'm trying to make them look right to rip sega arcade sprites.

The name's Sky Crane and I frickin LOVE this Website!

Not only have I downloaded the sounds for use in my Music, I also have found it useful for trying to make remastered versions of a few sprites! (Although, they're so darn small I have to zoom in the browser itself in order to see 'em!)

And now, because I've got the files, I can upload Sound Files from some of my favorite Mobile Games that are on here! (Mostly My Singing Monsters tho)

So... Ye! IDK how the uploading process works but whatever.

See ya!

Critique My Novice Sprite Sheet from Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3

$

Hey all,

I've appreciated Spriters-Resource for a long time and used hundreds of sprite sheets here for Perler bead creations over the years. I finally got into modding Gameboy Colors and snagged a cart dumper along the way, so I decided I'd finally try to contribute to this site. Hope I can be of help.

I noticed the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 page is missing some sprites and has some sheets with backgrounds that share the same color as the sprites.

Here's what I've done so far:

1. Got ahold of a couple emulators (BGB and VisualBoyAdvance) and read the GB/GBC ripping guide.
2. Downloaded Animation Shop 3 and made a sheet.

This is what I've gathered so far from years of using these sheets and attempting to make one or two of my own:

1. Use a different color for the background, typically one that is obnoxiously different from your sprite colors.
2. If your sprite is the same color as the background of your game, change the sprite color in the edit box of your emulator, and remove the background/foreground when recording/ripping.

This sheet of the first boss (Spiked Koopa/Spiked Pirate) of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 should have all of the sprites he uses. I just wanted to make sure this was clear, legible, and all-encompassing. Is there a better layout I could do? I love the GBC version so I included that color scheme as well, but if that just makes things more confusing I can easily remove it.

I noticed there are a few sheets missing on the Wario Land page, and I'd like to get to working on those. I have a Standard Wario sheet I'm working on but it's kind of bloated at the moment. I'll do some more editing and go from there.

I've already got a small stack of old Acclaim GB and GBC games I'm gonna try to get some sprite rips of that are missing from the library, but I wanted to start with a game I really love to see if I could actually pull it off.

Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated, and I'm looking forward to contributing.
