Request - Yo-Kai Watch Models

$

I don't usually make requests, but I decided to finally chime in for one

I need models from Yo-Kai Watch on the 3DS, any of the games will do, specifically, I want Roughraff and Badude, also they should have color swaps, but it's just the textures that change so! no other models need to be ripped

I'm a little surprised no one has ripped models from this game yet, I saw it pending on TMR one day but now it's gone haha.

Ripping models from Super Sentai Legend Wars

Hey guys, I need some help to get the 3d models out from a Japanese mobile game "Super Sentai Legend Wars" for Android and iOS. The game's downloaded model data were stored in the '__data' file format and I am unable to open them with Disunity or Unity Studio.

One of the indonesians was able to rip the models out in the T-pose, but he is not willing to share the ripping method by simply ignore me and my friends' messages. That's why I made this thread in the first place.

As a sidenote, the game was made using Unity version 5.3.5 f1. Also, I will not using methods like using BlueStacks or NinjaRipper.

I think it's about time I get one topic to host these all in instead of them being all over the place. Everything will be linked to in this first post for convenience's sake, and things'll seem a little bit placeholdery at first, so please bear with me while I get things set up.

All of my importing scripts are only for 3DS Max. Sorry to those using Blender or whatever. Sick

Compile Heart (Neptunia, Fairy Fencer F, Mugen Souls) - ISM2 Importer:

Gawd this model format is such a mess to work with. Data trees into data trees into data trees into... you get the point. Thankfully the formats haven't really changed much between games, so after getting it working for one game, only minor changes (if any) were done for the next (minus having to flip the endians for the PC/Vita version). Most of the original work for this script was from researching howfie's ISM2 to LightWave conversion program, so major thanks to him for that!

I wrote this script up as a "just because" sort of thing. That and I grew up watching some Tokusatsu things when I was younger, so yeah. Mega Man: Powered Up / Mega Man Maverick Hunter X - Model Importer:

Been meaning to finish this up for a while, considering all the work for this was done months ago. Use all three QuickBMS scripts below to unpack the files from either of the two games first, and after all that's said and done, the models will be in the aptly-named .MDL files, and the textures are the .PTEX files (which will need to be extracted using TiledGGD or the like). No automatic texture importing for this, but the material numbers will be listed in the polygon group names.

And before you ask, I do still have plans on uploading the rest of the playable characters and bosses from both games to The Models Resource.

At first I thought that Mario Party 10 was using the same model format that practically every other Wii U game was using, boy was I wrong. But because I'm a determined little bugger, naturally I wrote up a script so I can get at the model files from it. Note that this script will probably not work correctly with map models, that's something I'll look into fixing up at a later time. Characters should work just fine, though, but as always if there's one that doesn't import properly, don't hesitate to let me know so I can fix it.

Pokkén Tournament / Touch My Katamari - NUD Importer:

Most of the work for this script was already done simply because of the fact I already had an importer for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, other than a few vertex buffer differences and endian-swapping, the formats are nearly identical. And then I was told that Touch My Katamari's were the same, too, so there's support for those now, too! For rigging to import, make sure there's a .VBN file in the same folder as the .NUD (Pokkén's are in the "chrind" folder, you'll need to remove the "bindpose_" at the beginning).

Everyone should know about this by now, but here's my importing script for everyone's favourite smashing all-stars game Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. I've worked on it every now and then, adding support for formats I missed and proper texture IDs and such, and now it's at a state where I can consider it essentially "complete". It's even got a built-in tool to help change texture IDs for use in modding (to prevent conflicts)! Use Sm4shExplorer to extract the game's files, it's the best way to do so (or use the ones in uploaded in the respective topic).

I wrote this script specifically to rip the character models from Hyperdimension Neptunia U, but seeing as the model formats were nearly identical, I updated it to support (blergh) Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and Natsurio High School's models as well. Textures don't auto-import since they don't really use proper names, but the polygon groups list both that and what I believe are the "visibility group" IDs, so you should be able to determine how things are set up from that.

Telltale Games - D3DMesh Importer:

This is the script set I've spent the most time writing, rewriting and updating overall. This supports most (but not all!) of Telltale Games'... well, games, which you can see in the compatibility list below (unless otherwise stated, PC only). Make sure you have both the .D3DMesh and .SKL files in the same folder, and the textures in a separate "Textures" folder for them to import correctly. Due to the sheer amount of changes done to the format over time, not all of them will have proper bone names or automatic texture importing. Not much I can do about that. I'll be hopefully updating this later to support The Walking Dead: Michonne and Telltale's Batman at a later time, if they haven't screwed up the formats too much.

Hello There

I was checking The Spriters Resource for a long time, but I'm quite new for this forum. Smile
I'm ripping sprites mostly from NES or MAME games for scrapped concept.
The main reason why I'm here is because my friend is making a documentation about bootleg Arcade game, SWAT Police.
The game is using stolen graphics from other games such as Shock Troopers 2, Burning Fight, Mutation Nation or Mercs.
Some of the graphics are identified and some of them are unsolved.
I thought about uploading the graphics and see if any of you know from which games the sprites originally comes from.
Mind if I'll ask where I can post a separate thread for this topic to not cause any trouble? Unsure

Romancing SaGa 2 - Bosses

Not sure if I should have called it my actual thread for submitting RS2 Mobile version related stuff, but I'm doing this anyway.

Hello, everyone! I'm back with more RS2 stuff! This time, I cover the bosses!

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/pg9u59c1n48qqs6...s.png?dl=0

I'd like to thank Oscar92player for giving me most of the resources in this game, so I can extract the files from them and submit them to the Spriters Resource for everyone to enjoy and use as they like. Like, I can even submit these enemies with special animations to them, like so...

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/498b2obxchda1vf...n.png?dl=0

The first Giant boss, the Spriggan. More will come in the future, however, these boss sheets will be seperate, to not make such a huge image for one single spritesheet. Lastly, thanks to Oscar92player, I was able to fully finish and update this enemy list.

https://dl.dropbox.com/s/gdyjnem46tfguzd...s.png?dl=0

Words cannot express how much you have helped me, Oscar. If it wasn't for you, I never would have been able to rip all this stuff. Thank you SO much for all you've done to extract the files from the game. I shall continue to rip until I have ripped everything I can for you all.

More to come in the future! Any opinions so far though? And if possible, does anyone know about that "unused" Galient Blue recolor and where it's found in the game?

Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals (Nintendo DS)

$

Hey all, I've been looking into Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals and found that a significant portion of its models are low-hanging fruit -- namely the player characters and NPCs. They conform to the Nitro format standard as documented by Lowlines, including the model file, the textures, and (I think) the animations. They're just not packed into traditional Nitro Archives, so they aren't detected when popping the game into the usual Nintendo DS file explorers. There might be something else about these models that makes 'em a little cantankerous for the Nintendo DS/NSBMD model viewers that are available though, because I've never gotten them to preview okay in any program specifically focused on the Nintendo DS. Gericom's MKDS Course Modifier exports the model data as .OBJs correctly though, and from there they preview successfully in Noesis as shown below:

What I'm particularly interested in is getting these animated, and then decompressing the environment and enemy models I *think* are in compressed archives (which are marked with the $FAB ASCII identifier in their headers).  I suspect the end game will be creating a Python script to load the extracted model files directly into Noesis, but that's a long ways down the road given my capabilities at the moment. I'd absolutely love it if someone could point out a program that can already apply separate animation files to DS models and export to formats that support skeletons and animations. For now, I just figured I'd leave my notes here in case it helps generate some more interest in exploring this game's resources.

Without further ado, here's the method I use to get these in .OBJ format for now...

1. Grab aluigi's awesome file extraction engine, QuickBMS, here.

2. Download the attached BMS scripts; you'll probably want to keep them in the same folder as QuickBMS and an English-language copy of the game.

2. When QuickBMS prompts for the script to use, run one of the scripts against Lufia's entire game file. Then run the other script, making sure to place the .NSBMD and .NSBTX files into the same output folder. You'll occasionally be prompted for input while the scripts are running because a few compressed archives (or maybe data coincidentally marked liked Nitro headers) snuck into the section of the game file that contains non-compressed models and textures. You can just skip over or auto-rename the few garbage files that get caught up in the process. (Note to self: find the game's darn table of contents and dump these files more accurately...)

3. Download Gericom's MKDS Course Modifier here.

4. In MKDS Course Modifier, navigate to Tools > Nitro System > NSBMD > NSBMD + NSBTX to NSBMD. Choose a model and texture that have the same file name, and the program will composite them into an all-in-one model file. From there, you can use MKDS Course Modifier to export the new composite model to .OBJ format (Open the composite model, then navigate to Export > Model > OBJ).

5. At this point I had to open the textures in an image editor and vertically flip them to match the model's UV map. I also had to introduce transparency. I'll bet I'm just missing some settings in MKDS Course Modifier though.

6. Open the exported .OBJ in your favorite modeling program (you can use MrAdults' godly Noesis in a pinch) to make sure everything came through intact.

Phew! So it is pretty convoluted right now. And lacking an ability to export to a format that supports animations and bones, I'm not entirely sure how useful this is to The VG Resource community at the moment. But I wanted to throw this out there in case others get as excited over low-poly models as I do. Nintendo DS may not be known as a 3D powerhouse, but I think it's pretty neat that it could punch out Final Fantasy 8-quality models, and I have to hand it to Lufia's developers for pouring so much love into the game's model animations.

I didnt really make them by myself, i just took original old pictures (Pretty small and Blurry) and redraw it on Adobe Flash (Vector i guess?) to resize them in any size i want Tongue (Really for a future Card Game that i want to do... Maybe next year? :s)

Any advice? recomendations? Ideas?

So I have a model from Bravely Second, yet its pieces are separated. The game pieces them together, presumably. It's no glitch, this is how they're supposed to appear. I have no issue piecing it together, however, I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to upload it if I did that, because it's technically a modification. I'm sort of confused, lol.

So I've had this game since August.
I played it so much I went into completionist mode.

I just cleared all of the characters' 10-Man Smash Modes, but got no achievement stating such.

My sister got the same result with Classic Mode.

I read up, and it stated that I don't need to have DLC (I do, Cloud and Corrin) or use Miis (Did that before realizing it.)

Any help ?

[DS] Ripping Hunter models from Metroid Prime Hunters

$

So I've been trying to rip the Hunters (and possibly animations if possible too) from Metroid Prime Hunters only I'm having some issues attempting to do so.
The model files for this game are .bin, however thanks to this nifty tool, we can actually view any .bin models (usually named *_Model.bin in the game) and export them as .dae files with their textures. However, the Hunter models don't seem to view (and as a result, export) properly so this tool won't work.
I've been looking into ripping via OpenGL but I've had little luck with that too, but I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. So that's why I'm here. I'm looking to rip some of the models via OpenGL from an emulator and I've having trouble getting it to work or finding a good GL ripper.

Has anyone ripped DS models through OpenGL? If so, please post how you did it!

New user and I have a question.

[PAID] Custom Sprites for Animation Series

I'm looking for somebody to make me multiple custom sprite sheets of my characters for an animation I'm working on.

I would like them to be in a style somewhat similar to this: http://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_...eet/17270/

The sprite sheets must be rather large and hold many different actions, positions, and parts for each character. Most of the characters are human, but a few are nonhuman creatures.

I am willing to pay money per sheet completed. I am looking for 21(at the moment, may need more in the future) sheets. I know it's a lot, so it's fine if you take up my offer and can't get them all done. I'll still pay for what you did manage to give me.  Cute

Message me here on the site or add me on skype at axelairashii if you'd like to work out a price!  Big Grin

This is my first time making a commission(or thread at all) so if there's anything necessary that I left out or details I should add to the thread, please let me know.

How rip textures/sprites from PSP games

$
0
0
What you need:
-PPSSPP

-GLintercept

What to do:
-Open PPSSPP and go to Settings -> Graphics -> Backend  and change it to   "OpenGL"

-Close PPSSPP

-Go to the place where you saved GLintercept and copy "OpenGL.dll" and "Gliconfig.ini" and paste them in the directory where   your PPSSPP.exe is located

Now just open PPSSPP and ta-da, all sprites and textures will be ripped in your PPSSPP directory under the folder "Images".
If you are unhappy with the result you can open Gliconfig.ini in a text editor and change the settings there.
 Hope it helped!!

I have one question - can I somehow download models from Models-resource with batch downloading? One example - the 3DS game Pokémon X / Y have already ripped 561 models. So can I download all of them at once ('cause manual downloading will be veeeery long, boring and useless with another +125 models update after half-year, when I already forgot which models are downloaded and which new)?
