Sonic Heroes .anm

So i found some model and animation import scripts for sonic heroes (DFF and .anm) the model one works fine, but the animations one give me this error:
-- Runtime error: fileIn: can't open file -
"include\MaxScriptExtensions\FileStreamReader.ms"
I searched for the filestreamreader, but i cant find it, any help?

Trying to import a save file from mobile ds emulator, .dsv file wont load on desmume

So im trying to load my heartcatch precure save to get some sprite rips from the game on desmume but i can't get the save to import without it immediatly overwriting it with a new save that doesnt have my data on it, and if i try to overwrite that one im forced to completely reboot the game and let it overwrite because it gives me a data not found error, ive gotten this to work before but i can't remembr how. i really do not want to replay the entire game up to where my save is. which is past the end game. does anyone know what i should do to make it not overwrite the save i paste into the battery folder with the other saves? The mobile emulator i got the save from is Drastic. i dont know what version exactly. I also wasnt sure exactly where to post this since its not directly related to sprite issues, its mainly about trying to import the save and why it won't work but if it's still not the right place to put this, i can move it to the proper fourm section.

Heyya! First thread in a long time!

So, to give some background first, I'm working on an RPG Maker game inspired by/in the style of Harvest Moon DS [Cute] and GBA ([More] Friends of Mineral Town). The sprite style between the two is EXTREMELY similar and many things are even reused.

But in ripping things for this, I get REALLY distracted. So I started working on Usagi's house (from Sailor Moon)!! I've been using many reference images, including the SM Another Story house map just hosted hereon Spriters Resource!

It's not finished yet, and I don't know HOW-edited sprites have to be to be submitted to Custom/Edited on SR, so I just made this thread to share! Basically I'm ripping furniture/walls/floors from HMDS and MFoMT, editing some things, piecing together some things, recoloring some things, some even following other swatches in the games' palettes....

Progress so far. Take a look! No watermark yet cuz I'm a fool

(Side-wall doors are an edit attempt by me but look off... advice would be lovely!)

Issue with .JTEX images

Hello, so I did some searching and found two threads about .JTEX image files, and in both of them, a kind person named Ploaj provided tools to view and convert the images.

I've used those tools on a couple other games, and had an issue with some files. I'll show an example from Pokémon Picross.

Some images look just fine, like this sprite sheet:

While others are garbled, like this background image:

And when garbled images have transparency, the colours get messed up, like the edges of this font:

I've looked through a whole bunch of them, and it seems like the images that get messed up are the ones with a height and/or width not equal to a power of 2.

Unfortunately, I'm way too newb to understand the JTEX file format, let alone write any tools for converting them. But if someone with more knowledge could take a look at the issue, I'd appreciate that! Will post some sample files if needed. Wink

Model ripping help for boku no hero academia smash tap

Since I am quite new to model extraction ,I don't understand many things.I have tried many online tutorials but nothing worked for me unfortunately.
I did try this tutorial (https://www.vg-resource.com/thread-31141.html) by Hallow but it seems the apk doesn't have any models.

I don't know if I am going the correct path but this is what I tried...

I used asset studio to view the game files which were downloaded from the game (files inside \Android\data\com.bandainamcoent.hiroacast\files\UnityCache\Shared), and these are some files I managed to extract. As you can see the files are in .u3d and some assets in .dat format ,but I dont know how to procede from here.It would be great if someone could guide.

So i got ahold of all 4 higurashi games for the nds and was able to get the files for character sprites but they are all in bin files within bin files, and apprent have tex and pal files which i can tell are texture and pallete files. but i can't seem to get them open. and i can't figure out how, im gonna see if tinke can open them or not. if not then idk what to use, there's a crap ton of them in the games, literally everything in the game uses this format layout. Im also looking for the games text files because i possibly may try to translate them in the future.

Hello everyone new guy here so I guess I'll introduce myself. My name is Angel, I'm an artist, spriter, and a Game Maker Studio programmer, I have been using The Spriter's Resource for about 5 or 6 years now but have just now decided to register after all that time. I tend to look for Pokemon sprites, but sometimes I'll look for sprites from other games if I do need them. If it isn't obvious already I like games from the Gameboy and DS eras, the sprites form those times just seemed so fascinating to me and it's what got me into spriting to this day. Anyways I'm glad to finally join the forums and hope to meet all sorts of people in this community.  Smile

Ripping Mii Parts

Hello, WaddleDooFan77 here.

It has come to my attention that there exists no repository or archive of Mii face sprites on the Internet. No one has ever ripped the Mii parts from any game or system that uses them. I would like to change that - except I know next to nothing about ripping Mii face parts.

All I know is that in every game which uses them, Mii parts are stored in an archive with the .dat file extension. For example, Miitopia on 3DS contains the file CFL_Res.dat. It can be assumed that every .dat file used by Mii games shares a similar format.

What I am looking for is someone who knows how to extract data from one of these files, or someone who can help me to revesrse-engineer this file format. I do not have much coding knowledge, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to extract these Mii parts, and I am willing to extract the .dat file from various Mii games and provide it if necessary. Thank you for reading this thread, and I hope someone with the knowledge I desire will come forth.
