Detective Don here,

      I am part of an ongoing investigation, a case involving theft and possible murder or kidnapping. I'm going around spriting related communities finding out as much as I can. I just came from MFGG with a breakthrough leading me to this forum, so hopefully with your help we can solve this case.  I hope I can have all of your cooperation when it comes for my time to talk to you, as I will be talking to as much people as I can while going through your archives for any potential leads or witnesses. Hi all,

I am looking for the cutscene voices from Super Mario Odyssey, as I have been looking for them since the game came out and would like to use them in some SFM projects I have in mind. I am also looking for more Peach voices from Odyssey too. I know there are ones available on the Sounds Resource, but I am curious if there are more of them.

If I knew how to rip Switch games I could do it from my end, but I don't want to risk damaging my Switch via the methods I have seen online. If there are other ways, let me know and I'll look into it.

Proposal: Merging Pokemon Red, Green, and Blue

Pokemon Red and Blue have a strange development process that I'm sure many of us are at least somewhat familiar with. I will explain some of it here briefly so that my proposal makes more sense:
Pocket Monsters Red and Green were released in Japan on February 27, 1996.
Pocket Monsters Blue was released in Japan on October 15, 1996. This version contained an updated tileset for the overworld, different location data for otherwise unobtainable Pokemon (such as Jynx and Lickitung), and an altered Cerulean Cave layout. 
Pokemon Red and Blue were then released in the United States on September 28, 1998 (and later internationally). This version was built off of the original Red and Green, using its location data, and Cerulean Cave layout. These games do use the updated tileset and in-battle sprites from Japanese Blue.

My proposition is to combine Pokemon Green and Pokemon Red/Blue into one game. While Japanese Blue's changes to Red/Green are significant, it is still cut from the same cloth as Red/Green. I have attached a sheet which includes the sprites from the original Red/Green, as well as the updated sprites from Japanese Blue/International Red/Blue. 

My only goal here is to help organize these games, as the Pokemon Green page currently lacks the original tileset, and only has the Pokemon sprites, the SGB borders, and the Japanese title screens, which could feasibly be moved to the Pokemon Red/Blue page.

If the combining of these two games is not possible, I would still like to submit the attached sheet under both games' Pokemon section.

I recently went back through some older sprites and backgrounds I had and
stumbled upon some of my old ripping projects and found a completed once (Well, two separate full rips, one with both layers and one with a layer removed).
Just due the age of the rip however, I thought I'd better get a few once overs before submitting. I'm not confident on the accuracy of the overlay layer with the plants at all. [Image: PrIxHx2.png]

Files that you need for this Guide:
NSC Builder - https://github.com/julesontheroad/NSC_BUILDER/releases
An Animal Crossing New Horizons .xci or .nsp (Google for that)
Keys.txt (Google for prod.keys and rename it)
Switch Toolbox - https://github.com/KillzXGaming/Switch-T...TAL_LATEST

1. Unzip the NSC Builder and copy your keys.txt in the folder "ztools".
2. Open NSCB.bat and press "6" to enter the advanced mode. If it says "Getting NUTDB json" wait until it is finished.
    Then press "2" and select your .xci or .nsp. After selecting your file press "1" and then "4" to start the extraction process (this will take a while).
3. After it successfully finished, you can close the window and open the folder "NSCB_exctrated". The unpacked game files should now be there.
4. Now you can open the switch toolbox and use it to view and export most of the game files.

Current build is 0213 and I doubt that we will see an upgraded version. All main characters, enemies and NPCs are viewable plus their tiles. Same goes for maps.

I searched for an alternative in terms of ripping because ZSNES has serious problems with ingame artefacts:

Deleted a few colours from the floor palette to make the miscolourings visible. The carpet also has a strain full of artefacts. Right one is hard-ripped, left one is Somedit. The map here is Tasnica with its interior, 131 vs 158 colours for the whole thing.

Pretty sure some of the other SoM maps on the site are screwed up too (counting colours and deleting a few colours from wide areas will make it clear), but at the moment I want to focus on the main characters and interior maps of towns and probably castles too.

Hiya! I'm new here. Smile I just found this place! It's amazing! I wish I'd known about this years ago - would've saved me so much time and trouble!

I work with mods a LOT, especially sound mods. I love making sound packs for various games, especially RPGs, of my favorite game characters and voice actors! I've made quite a few now and ripped sounds for lots and lots of games. I have so many things I want to rip still - and despite being at this for years, I'm still quite a bit of an amateur. The idea of people around here knowing how to rip sound files from console games like Uncharted 2 excites me immensely.

Resident Evil 6 sound banks

So this is a toughie - I've been trying to get into this one for years and I haven't found anyone who can help.

The sound bank files for Resident Evil 6 are .spc (PKCS #7 Certificates) packed files. I haven't found any means to get them open and get the files inside out and converted into a playable format. I want to get Chris Redfield's sounds out to make voice set mods for other games.

To be quite honest, I don't even know where to start. I've tried a few old programs I've managed to dig up on various places across the internet, but none of them work. I've tried to get into them myself, but I'm not exactly skilled at cracking into this sort of thing.

Does anyone have any experience getting into files like this?

Guys, I don't even understand why the hell you despise Rakugakids So damn much! Sorry if I'm harsh, But it's not fair. Some of the sprites for Captain.Cat.Kit haven't been ripped as well as Cools.Roy and other characters. And tbh, I can't use the Dump texture thing properly. I mean, I used Project64 with RiceVideo to dump some textures and... Things didn't look right for me. Like, Cools.Roy feet are shown, But not the rest of him. And they're other parts of the sprites that have been ripped incorrectly. So yeah, How else am I supposed to rip Rakugakids sprites so I can put the Rakugakids characters in Mugen? Ugh!! But anyway. I need you guys to Re-rip some sprites from Rakugakids. And Don't forget Astronots and Robot.C.H.O. Those are the characters that haven't been ripped in YEARS. Thanks.

So, i'm making an Undertale fangame with a team i made.  The team is called Team Literature.  I'm not sure if AU'S are allowed on this segment, but i'm doing this anyways.  I have a few ideas for the game if you're interested in posting a few as well.  The game consists of several references and characters from books, manga, etc.  So, with that said, let's get the basic role/character personalities/other basic stuff down.

Roles:
MC-Frisk
Monika- Sans
Natsuki- Papyrus
Yuri- Undyne (Ironically)
Sayori- Toriel (UNironically)
Me- Annoying Dog/Original Role
Sans- Original Role (Cameo?)
Papyrus- Original Role (Cameo?)
Dan Salvato- Asgore/Original Role
Undyne- Original Role (Dead, Mentioned)
Sebastion/The Cat (Coraline)- Flowey (Somewhat Ironic)
☝✌?❄☜☼- ☝✌?❄☜☼
All other roles are taken by original/other characters, in which i haven't figured most of them out yet.

Personalities:
MC- His personality, like Frisk's, is determined by the player's actions.
Monika- Still the same as in DDLC, but has a pinch of Sans' laziness.  She compromises with that by helping as much as possible.  She still is the president of the Literature Club, still aware of the 4th Wall, can teleport and take 'shortcuts' like Sans can (but to a degree), and has a Bad Time Eye like Sans (but it's green).  She turns MC's SOUL color to green.  She also still likes helping others with their poems.  She doesn't have a manipulative nature, since she also has Sans' knowledge of the timelines.  She knows there is no happy ending, and that she can't make one, so she isn't doing anything to manipulate her way to one.  She also doesn't have her [DATA EXPUNGED] abilities either, so she can't [REDACTED] anyone.  She also [REDACTED] in [REDACTED] instead of Natsuki if you play through a Monika minigame before MC fights Natsuki and get a time of [DATA EXPUNGED] seconds.  She gives you a Poetic Time in Dokitale's Genocide Route, and she still has a BIT of a crush on MC.  A BIT.

Natsuki- Still the same as in DDLC.  However, she aims to train MC in hopes of helping him to get back home (reluctantly).  She uses a 'pink attack', which is similar to Papyrus' blue attack, hence the color change to pink instead of blue.  She has Papyrus' knack of not killing MC, and instead of putting him in a shed, she puts him to rest in a separate room in her house (supposedly Monika's room).  She also wanted to join the royal guard like Papyrus does.  However, she didn't feel like she wanted to anymore, judging the responsibility of the members of the guard.  She still likes to bake cupcakes and still has her sour attitude at times.  She also appears in a variation of [REDACTED], as mentioned above.  She has met Papyrus in a baking competition once, and she aims to get Papyrus' cooking up to 'tip top shape' before he can go back into one of those.

Yuri- Still the same as DDLC, but with the training and Determination as Undyne.  She never wants to hurt anybody, but she knows that her duties come before herself.  She uses purple knives and changes MC's SOUL color to purple. She still likes making tea and teasing Natsuki sometimes.  She also reprises her timid personality trait, and often gets embarrased, like in DDLC.  Her yandere qualities rarely show.  The only time she shows this is in her date, when she gets so Yandere-ish that she manages to burn up her house like Undyne did just to get MC's affection.  She eventually snaps out of it when she sees her house burning.  She has an Undying form like Undyne, and is wracked in Disbelief as she was struck down and when she fights MC in the Genocide Route.

Sayori- Still the same as in DDLC, but has more of a loving feeling for MC, since she is technically the caretaker.  She does come out sometimes, unlike Tori.  She is still the vice president of the Literature Club, and she has met Papyrus and Sans before.  Her depression shows in battle when MC wants to leave the Fallen School (Idk what else to call the Underground), and she explains such before, during, and after the battle.

Papyrus- Still the same as Undertale.  Recalls the time when he met Natsuki, and even says that she reminds him of himself, only with an attitude like Undyne.  He makes a few callbacks to Undyne and her Genocide fight in Undertale, as her Undying armor is broken.  It's shown as a memorial to Undyne and her heroism against a hostile human.  That human killed Undyne in [REDACTED].

☝✌?❄☜☼- He is still the same as in [REDACTED], only he made Dokitale as an experiment alongside [DATA EXPUNGED].  The redacted information can be found on Entry Number 1X, located in a secret room located in [REDACTED].

Sebastion- He's still the same as in Coraline.  He tries to help MC get back home, as he also longs to go back.  He turns into a god and fights MC not for evil, but as a result of a corruption from a mysterious entity.  Once MC wins, he regains control, admits defeat, and asks MC to kill him for his own sake.  If so, he congratulates him.  If not, he realizes that he still has hope left in him, and joins MC's journey back home.

Other things are yet to be announced.  Tune in for more, or tell me about your ideas for the AU!

(Model Ripping Tutorial) How To Rip Models From "Defunct"

This is BBG, and today, im showing you how to rip 3D Models for the game, "Defunct", the game runs on the Unity Engine, so you may know to rip before on Unity games, but this tutorial is how to rip the game's 3D Assets
you need the following

1. Defunct Itself (You Can Buy It On Steam)

2. A Unity .Assets Extractor (i use the program "AssetsBundleExtractor")

3. A 3D Rendering Program (my Blender is currently broken, so i used Unity to import the model)

anyways, LETS START!!!

1: Open up your Unity .Assets Extractor, then open up the game's folder

2: Go to "Defunctx86_Data"

3: You will see the "sharedassets" files, all ending on .assets, these files have pieces of the game inside of them, for example, "sharedassets5" has the files for the Main Character, anyways

4: Open the .assets file with the extractor, and you may see the files inside of it, what we are focusing on are the files with these brackets

"Texture: The Game's Textures"
"Mesh: The Model Itself"

basicly click on one of the "Mesh" bracket files, and then click on your extractor's extract button, it may allow you to extract the model on either "OBJ: No Rig" or "DAE: Rigged"

for the textures, click on one of the "Texture" bracket files, and do the same thing that you did with the model to extract it in either "PNG" "JPEG", or "TGA"

you had extracted the model and its textures correctly

5: Open your 3D Rendering program, like Blender or Unity, import your extracted model, and apply the textures, depending on your program, the textures may map correctly or not, for example, "AssetBundleExtractor" already maps the textures correctly when exporting the model, if your program dosent auto map them, then you have to use Blender to manually map them correctly to the model

Congratulations, you had ripped a model from Defunct, either rigged or not
