Curse Engine Build 001
Controls:
Arrow keys Left and Right move Alucard in the respective direction.
Arrow key Down makes Alucard crouch.
S key makes Alucard jump. The longer it is pressed, the higher Alucard can jump.
1-6 change the color of the ghost trail behind Alucard.

Just looking for feedback on how it feels. Not looking to make a 100% copy clone of Symphony of the Night. The goal is create a similar play experience that will be incorporated into my own Metroidvania style indie-game that I have been fleshing out for the past few weeks.
Things I have noticed so far:
Sometimes falling on a downward slope in the same direction that you are moving causes you to appear to bounce(ie, resets your fall). Doesn't happen all the time. It's being looked into.
Keep in mind:
On my machine, I maintain frames-per-second over 2500. If you are using a slow machine, you may see artifacts or image glitches. Let me know about these.
