ARC/BLD extraction?

So I am trying to extract a game on the wii using dolphin. I extracted the files, but came up on many folders(good I think) of ARC and BLD files. From what I read they are like zips and rars, so I was wondering how I could open them to get the models that are inside?

Okay, so I’m interested in gathering sound effects from various Star Wars video games for video projects, usually ones that are not found elsewhere on the internet. iteachvader has helped me a great deal, and I’m sorry to hear that he will not be doing any further ripping projects for others, so I want to acquire additional sounds from other sources. I started this thread in hopes that somebody would help with getting the lightsaber sounds from Kinect Star Wars, Lightsaber Sound Effects Request (Kinect Star Wars), but with no success. And I do understand the rules of requests, I just need help with this.

I’ve acquired information on how to rip the sounds and other files, but I don’t have the files myself to work with, so I wonder if starting up a project would help somewhat. I would like to know how they work, and how to get people together to help me crack this puzzle. Any help would be appreciated.

Now, I collect sound effects from Star Wars video games to use for video projects. Currently, I’m working on several lightsaber effects videos, but I want to use lightsaber sounds from other sources from the Jedi Knight series. I found an potentially excellent source from a panned video game: Kinect Star Wars. Here are video playlists to demonstrate why I think so highly of the sounds from it:

However, while I have acquired information on how to gather the sounds from the game:

I simply cannot access the sounds because 1) I don’t know how to rip an Xbox 360 game and 2) I don’t have the game or the files themselves. I would appreciate any help anybody can give me, please. I think that these sounds would be very wonderful in the final videos.

Hi everyone!

I have no where else to turn to, so hope someone could help me. This game is from an anime (journey to the west)
Specifically I am trying to rip (hakkai)

1st of all the tools i'm using are the following:
-pcsx2 0.9.8
-texmod
-ninjaripper
-3dsmax 2012

So to get started i've had luck getting the texture shown here:

As for the 3d model one I import it (using regular .obj file from pcsx2 or ninja ripper) it ends up looking like this

how to sprite small eyes

Anyone have any advice/ help on spriting eyes, on human characters,

when working with small sprites, ie. 8-bit or 16-bit era

Here's a few attempts.

This ones a little better but I still don't think the eyes are great.... they look pretty basic


If anyone has any advice or just better examples feel free to throw them in.

Hi,Im trying to rip from a android game called medal masters. I mostly need the pictures and background but I cannot find of that nor the sprites just a bunch of .files and as far as i know there is no obb please help.


Edit: I think the game is unity assets http://prntscr.com/ai70o7 do i have to do something differnt?

I'm having a hard time trying to get http://www.models-resource.com/3ds/animalcrossingnewleaf/model/10205/ to work in Blender 2.77's Cycles Render engine.
I have used other models from this page in Blender without problems before, it's just this particular model (or rather, its textures) that just won't work:

On the left there's Blender's Rendered viewport, on the right there's the Material one.
I already fiddled with the texture extension settings, trying out Clip, Extend, and Repeat until the image in the left viewport looked okay-ish, but as you can see, some textures are still… weird.
I've used this script (https://developer.blender.org/diffusion/...nverter.py) to convert all textures to a format the Cycles engine can use, but I doubt that it is causing all this, as it has worked flawlessly with a bunch of other models before.

Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong with the model and/or its textures?

Edit: Ugh, never mind. I should've looked harder before posting. Feel free to close/delete.

Sample rate issues (Soul Worker)

Recently, I have been able to rip voice files from a game called Soul Worker.
At the moment, all files are cleanly in a wav format.
The only problem lies in the fact that most rates (Hz) are completely off.

Here are some samples:

The files need to be changed to 88200 Hz, but when I try to use a mass file converter, the rates change but the sound itself does not.

Example:

(A is the file with the rate changed manually in Audacity)
(B is the file changed through a converter)
(Note that they have the same rate)

Anyone have any programs that could help change the rate along with the sound?

Edit: Using Audacity to manually convert them all is impossible because there are over 5000 files.

Kamen Rider 1 and 2 sounds

I was looking for sounds for the very first Kamen Rider 1 and 2. I have seen battride sound rips but I believe Rider 1 and 2 arent ripped. I am trying to get their voices but I have no luck ripping. 

Are there any Rider 1 and 2 voices, effects sounds available?

.FSB Issues

I extracted many different files from .fsb.

At first I used the fsb extractor and received .celt files.
Because I was unable to do anything with the .celt files, they were discarded.

Next I used tw2unfsb (Witcher 2 extractor) and was able to get wav files with the voice clips.
After adjusting all of the rates (bitrates or samplerates w/e they are called) I noticed that the sounds are cut off for nearly all of the extracted sound files.

Is there anyway to extract the .fsb files without getting random sound parts cut off?

I submitted this model quite some time ago only for it to be rejected because it was broken. I can load the model fine, but peardian couldn't. I don't know what they use but I use Blender 2.76b and I ripped them by exporting to .SMD, fixing any rigging issues and exporting to .DAE .FBX and .OBJ.

To anyone who's an expert at ripping instrument samples from GBA games, could you rip the instruments from F-Zero Climax? Please? Cute I'd do it myself, but sadly I don't know how to properly rip GBA instruments yet (The only ones I'm good at ripping are from SNES games).

Characters for a Graphic Novel: Maturity criticism

A while ago, I wrote a large book based on a lot of my characters. I'm actually fairly happy with the story, but... Neither of my BETA readers could seem to get through it all the way. To make matters worse, my former boss is INSISTING I turn it into a graphic novel. I really hate the idea, because it basically means starting over and doing even more work than I put into my book. It doesn't help that I'm a mediocre artist. She says either that, or add pictures to my book, another idea I really don't like as it will downgrade the maturity of the book. I'm trying to write a book for young adults, but kids and adults can read too.

But since she insists on a graphic novel, I'm trying to design my characters to look more mature. I got four versions of the story's main protagonist, a unicorn rabbit hobo named Benny. It's about his struggles in a dark society filled with magic and villains, as well as friends who are more powerful than him. Unlike most stories, the main hero isn't a super-powerful being or a hopeful hero, he's a scrawny, malnourished wimp. At the same time, he's a very kind and gentle soul, and even he gets his fair share of action.

On the left is the normal style I've been working with. On the right is my first attempt at a more mature style. ...Not sure if either work, but then again, how mature does he need to be?


The first one tries to take inspiration of old cartoons. It also gives Benny gloves and a single shoe, and adds smudges under his eyes.

The second tries to be a bit more gritty, going farther outside my comfort zone. I kept the smudges and gave him a bindle-sack as well.

Which form do you guys like the most?

I'm also looking for ways to mature the style further. Two things I will not do, however. I will not give my characters breasts or anything like that. That's going... a little more mature than I want. More importantly, however, I will NOT turn any of my characters into humans/humanoids. There's so many stories out there staring them, I don't enjoy drawing or writing about them, and I would really love to put something different out there into the media.

Bloodborne PKGs

All right, so it's come to my attention that those with digital downloads of Bloodborne, or those with a spare hard drive with FAT32 or exFAT formatting are fully capable of retrieving/extracting the game data files of PS4 games. Now, with the method so widely available I'm not going to bother posting a link to the methods, as there are already several, be they proxy servers or alternate hard drive installations.


What I need help with, is acquiring these files for research purposes into their model and texture formats. However, I do not have a PS4 myself, therefore I do not have Bloodborne either. A PC release is most likely not going to happen either, and I can't be waiting around for things that may never happen such as an upload of the PKG files elsewhere. My primary concern is finding someone who is willing to work with me on figuring out the file formats of Bloodborne for the sake of model and texture ripping of characters and most importantly, monsters and bosses.

What I am looking for is someone who will be able to acquire these files, and be able to delve into their assets eventually. Can anyone, by any chance, help me with this?

I have the 3d model, and I have the .nut file for princess zelda. I just cannot figure out how to apply her textures onto the 3d model, I am using 3ds max / maya. any help is appreciated, this is for my wife's cosplay.

I have recently wanted to rip models for "Sega Superstars Tennis" From the wii. But my problem is I'm not sure how to rip from the Iso. and or CD (i do own a physical copy) If someone can inform me on how to do such a thing I would be forever grateful.
