Basically exactly what it says on the tin. This is an old project for a Metroid sprite comic, that originally had horrible writing; namely, that my problem with writing introductions caused everything to rush by too quickly. As such, I've started remastering it, mostly rewriting it. While decompression is normally an element of bad storytelling, I feel it actually has the potential to allow readers time to fully take in each plot point, and thus basically gives everything a little weight. Namely, how I justify Samus starting off with nothing, (as in essentially every Metroid game,) which partially consists of a villain having a brief moment of not being stupid.
I didn't actually know where to put this thread, whether in the 'Pixel Art' thread or the 'Other Creativity' thread, since it's a sprite comic and thus has a low concentration of custom sprites, but it's still related to pixel art whereas the Other Creativity subforum is for things not related to such. To any staff members reading, feel free to move this thread if it is in the wrong subforum.
Because of the fact that 'cringy sprite comic stuff' occurs early on in particular due to it setting up a plot point that's not justified until much, much later, I will be putting up essentially the entire introduction within a few days at most, and as such the groanworthy introduction, which I have rewritten to improve it somewhat, can be done and over with. And yet still have weight to it. Isn't confusion fun?
And with all that out of the way, let us begin.
Hello! R.O.B.25 here. I'm new here (since Monday, actually). Sorry for the delay. It's nice to be here and all. I may appear every now and then, just so you know.
Hi! Has anyone tried ripping models from this old game?
I've tried using Ninjaripper, but pressing f10 / f12 ingame doesn't seem to work.
I need help with ripping the game's animations and character's audioclips, more specific, from WoL's legendary jobs and Echo's base animations and voice clips (the ones shared by every echo skin)

I joined here because I am hoping to learn how to access sprite files in games (specifically Ray and Mighty's sprites from the encore DLC of Sonic Mania) and I would also like to start interacting more with the community as I have been using this site for quite a while.
That's pretty much it, thanks for taking the time to read my post and I hope to get along fine here.
(If you are interested in the mod I am making please feel free to contact me.)
Unlikely I'll drop in like this in the future, but...
All accepted/submitted sounds have been uploaded here.

Hi every body,
I have problem when i try to rip 3d model from PS1 game Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. I have read the tutorail at link
but the tool emulator doesnt not work
i tried to another emulator software but the tool not work. So Some body who have ripped model i game PS1 can help me plz
For some odd reason, I suddenly couldn't see my textures. I tested this on my phone, my laptop, even my Xbox 360's browser. So it doesn't seem to be a device issue. It's really really annoying to not see what I had already submitted and I don't want to cause error or even resubmit something under a different name.
Have a great day!

I've been trying to rip the assets of Dragalia Lost, which has overall proven to be fairly easy, with it being a Unity game and whatnot, despite my lack of knowledge, surprisingly enough. However, I've run into an issue. I can find summon render just fine, and these are clean, however they are cut off, unlike the full renders, which are, well, full. But I'm honestly not sure what I'm supposed to do with, let's say for the sake of example, these:
110001_01_r04_Cb.png (Size: 39.81 KB / Downloads: 4)
110001_01_r04_Cr.png (Size: 45.62 KB / Downloads: 2)
110001_01_r04_Y.png (Size: 308.13 KB / Downloads: 2)
(last one shows as white but it's because the whole thing is a silhouette)
I assume I'm supposed to slap em together somehow, but I honestly have no idea how to do it. I've tried looking at whatever ID corresponds to the character / dragon, but all else I get from all the assets are the models, their textures, and some animation values which are most likely unrelated.
I guess I'd be content enough with the summon renders, but if you guys could maybe guide me with that stuff so I could get an even better result, I'd love the help. Thanks in advance.

So, Capcom released the Capcom Beat 'em Bundle on Nintendo Switch; Xbox; and PlayStation, but the PC version is still being delayed until a still unspecified date. I've heard they've might have done this to add some last minute DRM to the compilation, that's fine with me, but it's been 12 days since Capcom released the collection on all the other platforms, and Capcom still hasn't even given a revised release date for the Steam version. I know I might be jumping the gun here, but does it seem like Capcom is going to let PC version slowly die, and then either announce the cancellation of the port after most people have long forgotten it or never officially announce the port was cancelled.
I feel the website is abit hard to navigate in.
Is there a way to make it lighter and faster to move around?
Or is this simply made so?
Since it's the month of Halloween...Has anyone on this site tried extracting these?
Regarding what words that are spoken by the in-game voices on the Sounds Resource, I may happen to ask about certain details being acceptable.
For example: if Herbert Morrison’s eyewitness account of the Hindenburg disaster was used in a game that is on this site, would that specific recording be acceptable?
Another example: would an audio file of a crowd shouting “Sieg Heil” be considered offensive/NSFW?
Am I making any sense out of this? If not, I’ll just say “are audio recordings of actual events used in games acceptable”?
I've been trying to rip the sounds from Monkey Ball arcade, but unfortunately I can't seem to find a working method to access the CHD's files. Does anyone have experience doing so?
To any staff members reading, please delete or lock this thread.
I'm constantly getting this on Firefox when uploading large sheets now. This just started today. There are alleged "fixes" for this, but they've never worked for me, and clicking "try again" just repeats the problem endlessly.
I was wondering if Rips from Google's HTML Easter eggs are allowed on the site. They aren't what most would consider video games but they have assets that can be ripped. Some of which are actaully stored internally as spriesheets. So are they allowed?
