hi guys! idk if you remember me but i did pixel art for a while and then forgot about this website

anyway, it's been almost 2 years since i've really done any pixel art anymore and i'm terribly rusty now. here is some new stuff I've worked on, for both myself and my friends. older first.

hello friends! at least i hope you guys are friends. you might remember me from like 2 years ago before i disappeared off the face of this website in particular. 

back then i was in high school. now i'm in college!! FOR VIDEO GAME DESIGN!! HOORAY!! I've got some grandiose ideas and some not so grandiose ideas. Perhaps you'll see a game I made in a year or so. 

Anyway, I'm back because i forgot how to do pixel art and I need help. that, and i'd love constructive criticism on any of my stuff cause i so need it. (it's what happens when you start drawing people after years of drawing furries.) 

anyway, not much has changed. Except I'd like  to change my username back, but oh well. Ironically, I'm actually wearing a Turbo shirt right now, so maybe I'm not too far off? 

Uhhh. For those of you who forgot me/don't know me, I'm Cy and I'm an artist and I really love progressive rock music and 70s culture. I also really love Monster Hunter. (Ask me if you want to hunt, i'm G crown) My favorite bands at the moment are Supertramp, Budgie, and Rush. I'm undoubtedly obsessed with the members as well as their music, and I will talk your ear off about Supertramp or Budgie. Don't test me.

welcome to my humble abode where i gave up drawing furries to draw musicians. it's been a long, hard road when all you're used to is furries with digitigrade legs and not human faces. 
anyway, big images are hidden under spoilers. i draw BIG.

I love the art style of this game, and all the characters. The enemies really are something awesome for me because I love Octopi, and they're so goofy looking. So I was wondering if someone could figure up a way to rip the models of the enemies and bosses at least? Or even just DJ Octavio as seen in the final battle and in the snow-globe thing. I'd love to add these characters to my collection.

This is only airing in Japan at the moment but what are your thoughts about this? I mean we had Battle of Gods and Ressurection of F is coming out soon too. Battle of Gods was awesome and so will the next movie, so what do you guys think about the new anime?

I dont know about you, but I wanna see some HD fighting action... Akira Toriyama style. Hopefully the battles wont be like the ones in GT. I hated those.

I also hope Krillin doesnt constantly die.

awhile ago i stumbled onto a thing called bleen a holographic projecter that claims  to be able to project into the air without needing glass or anything to project onto. it seems legit as they are taking responsibilty for the projecters used for the 2014 homer hologram stunt at comicon last year and they apparently sold some to  a lingerie shop in the uk (both examples are on there youtube channel which i will give a link to at the end) they are selling home units for 800 a piece.

asuming they are telling the truth i think there best bet is for them to partner with konami because although i am happy it is possible to  buy this stuff for home  the 800 doller price tag is a bit much for most people who would buy this, but konami has  something that would insure a ton of money for bleen to get more  then enough funding to start researching how make the projecters cheaper and that thing is a franchise called yugioh.



why konami instead of anouther big company like sony or nintendo? well its simple konami is a big player in the arcade area of the gaming industry this means they could  use the projecters right now . while a company like nintendo  who is focused on home and mobile gaming would hafto wait untill it got way cheaper before even considering it.

why is yugioh such a big deal for this why not another franchise?  well although there are a ton of games and franchises  that would benifit from a holographic arcade game, yugioh is the only one that has  holograms as a central part of the plot meaning  players would be doing exactly what is happening on the show. this would increase the  already super high marketability of yugioh even higher after all look at how many kids bought those fake duel disks when they came out years ago. with  real holograms it would give a truly unique experience. with japans arcade market still really strong it would just rake in the cash over there  and if it were coupled with some really big holo publicity stunts it could get global attention. like say using it in the yugioh world championships  and put it in an open area at night where the holographic monsters would be easily seen fighting by passers by.

well thats my 2 cents i would love hear your  thoughts about this weather you think bleen is legit what franchises you think might work better then yugioh as a starter for 3d arcades anything you think i missed and anything you think adds to this subject and so on? also here is there website and youtube page.

So after giving up trying to rip from the Gamecube version of PMW3 I decided to finally go to the definitive version of the game: The PS2 version, however now they are in a format I can't find ANY sort of extensions to known as ".PS2"

This is really becoming a pain... I hate to bug you all but... And help would be appreciated trying to get these open.

I know this is an ongoing unavoidable problem with dx ripper, but i have seemed to have tried everything in the book to fix it.
I am ripping levels/scenes from the gamecube version of Sonic Adventure DX using dolphin and DX Ripper 3d, because it is the only ripper that seems to work consistently.
(I understand there are level rippers for the pc version, but they don't rip all of the models and architecture i need, and are missing a lot of key components).
While the models it rips seem to be complete, the some of the surface normals are ripping flipped, including very small details, leaving large black holes throughout the mesh.


 I am using 3ds max 9 to import the frames, in order to take advantage of the 3dr plugin, but i have access to pretty much any modeling software.
I have tried everything, from 3ds max's unify normals/flip normals, modifier, to blender's recalculate normals feature, to importing two seperate meshes, flipping all of the normals on one, and combinding the two, but it doesn't seem to fix alot of the holes.

I would flip each normal surface one by one, but it would take FOREVER on a lot of the smaller objects.
I know that the mesh is importing in full, because when i render "flat" to my viewport, its full:


also, when i disable culling in unity (where i am using these levels, for personal use, not commercial), the model is full, but because of the way lighting and normals work, the mesh becomes uneven in its lighting, AKA BAD lighting. it looks terrible.

I guess i am asking, is there ANY thing i can do to fix my rips/rip correctly?
I am using the newest version of dx ripper, along with both the newest dolphin (that uses x86 versions of windows) and a rev6115 version of dolphin, both rendering in dx9.
is their a plugin or maxscript that i am missing that can fix this? a different, better ripper?(i have tried ninja and 3dvia, both with problems)
is there anything i can do?

I'm having some trouble ripping SSBM models, as you can tell from the title. I want to rip Samus and DK from Melee, but 3D Ripper isn't cooperating with me. I press F12 to capture and it never captures the scene for me. If it says it does I can't find it in any of the folders. Can any one give me some suggestions on how to fix this? Should I download a new program for it? I use at least 3 different versions of Dolphin and none of them rip for me. HELP!

there has been alot of talk about nintendo's new secrete console  and not much confirmed so i think it is only right for us to voice are theorys on what the nx might be and dosince nintendo did say its not just a replacement for there current ones.

my theory is that its controller will be designed to play the games that are inserted in the system  anywhere via wifi. i also think that nintendos interest in free form lsd displays  might mean an awesome looking headset display of some kind. not vr yet but probably designed for an easy jump to it once it becomes feasible for a home console to add  it. likly the headset would be so people wouldn't have to buy tvs to play it cutting out the middleman.

well thats my theory whats your guys ideas about this mystery super system is all about
