Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality

As you may or may not know, a Rick and Morty VR game was released not too long ago. I've been trying to rip models from the game, but none of the Unity tools I have work with the game at all. (My guess is because it's running on a newer version of the Unity engine)
Could somebody please help me out with ripping from this game? These models are pretty great, and I'm surprised nobody else has tried to rip them yet.

Nintendo DS Ripping?

I was just wondering if there is a way to rip models from Nintendo DS using an emulator. For example with PS2 and Gamecube games you can run 3D screen cap programs like Ninja Ripper through emulators and rip geometry from specific frames. I haven't found any information about whether or not you can do the same with NDS emulators, however I've tried with 3D Via Printscreen to no avail. I'm asking because I'd like to rip the character models from Dragon Ball Kai Ultimate Butouden and I feel like this would be quite simple using 3D Via Printscreen or a similar program. I apologize in advance if this has been answered in a previous thread, I'm just getting really tired of trying to figure this out myself. Also I read somewhere that there's a version of DeSmuMe that can dump 3D scenes with UV's intact. If this is true I'd be very grateful if someone could send me a download link.

Hey, so I did the research, and its a little different and a lot easier to extract models from this game then its predecessors.

What you need
  • A 3DS/CIA extractor, I use HackingToolKit3DS
  • Ohana 3DS Rebirth

You're gonna wanna extract the ROMFS from the archives. Unlike before where all the models were given random names and thrown in the FileArcs along with the seperate textures, the models and textures are now stored together in the Chara direcotry.

In this folder you'll find BCH files named like this:
BCXXXBYY

XXX = Character Code ID (list coming soon, for now, refer to this outdated version)
YY = Costume Index

So simple.

Once you have your choice, export the objects and textures as you would for other 3DS games.

I need help de-compiling a Sega CD ROM

I am attempting to extract files from the poorly received "Wild Woody",but to be completely honest, I have almost no idea where to start.

It would be a massive help if somebody could show me what software I can use to extract and de-compile all the files within the .bin file.

Once I get to these files, I need to know what file extension is used for sprite files, so that I might be able to convert them to traditional image files.

Randomly stretched model problem(DS)

Hi,

I'm currently ripping Dinosaur king DS using Console Tool and MKDS Course Modifier, some of the models are looking pretty fine in MKDS preview and whats previewed is same for Blender (as shown in the image 1).

However, other models in the same folder could have some parts misaligned especially the bottom region, as shown in image 2. These problematic models are quite random but it seems to have something to do with dino species (eg Theropods are alright, Sauropods are not), but not entirely. The 3rd and 4th image shows that both models (of image 1 & 2 respectively) looks alright in the preview for Console Tool.

Image 1: Proper Model 1 viewed in MKDS preview before export

.png   Spino.png (Size: 21.42 KB / Downloads: 10)
Image 2: Problematic Model 2 as viewed in MKDS showing a stretched region

.png   Acro.png (Size: 16.67 KB / Downloads: 12)
Image 3: Model 1 looks alright when previewed in Console Tool

.png   CSS.png (Size: 55.43 KB / Downloads: 9)
Image 4: Model 2 looks alright when previewed in Console Tool but not for MKDS unlike Model 1

.png   CSA.png (Size: 59.35 KB / Downloads: 8)

Before I mass export and import them to Blender, could I know what can be done to correct the ill proportions so that all the dinosaur models would be good to go. In addition, does anyone know how to rip from Jurassic World The Game and Jurassic Park Builder Mobile game. Thanks

Regards,
Animal Model

Hello, and thank you for taking time to check this. (I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct place to post this also)

My friend and I are trying to work on a project together and are trying to obtain models from, actually, several different video games, PRIMARILY Kingdom Hearts though. I play Unreal Tournament 99 and 2004 and really like getting new custom models to play around with, I figured I'd try to model them myself though I've had no such luck. I'm also interested in using some models for Garry's Mod which I know Lua Script is a different ballpark than Unreal Script.

Let's just use Kingdom Hearts as the base for the time and say I wanted to rip a model of Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts 2. My friend and I are kind of tag teaming this in which he gets the game to that particular point and then I have all the techy stuff to do ripping and what have you. Though, like I said, there's been no luck at all. 3DRipperDX and Ninja Ripper did not recognize the emulators we were using, when it did recognize them it completely caused both the game and ripper to completely crash. I found some of the particular models I wish to utilize on the site here and I'm able to pull them to Blender, the problem being is that's as far as I can honestly figure out.

I'd really love to learn working with this stuff as well as coding it all in the work for at LEAST one of the two forementioned games above. Pretty much the animations and scripts I'd need help with to have the models working properly in game, so that way they aren't just T-posing the whole time though that would be hilarious actually. If there would be anyone who could offer some assistance I truly would be greatful Smile

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for PC - Menu textures BIN

Hello everyone!

After weeks of searching, I've found a script for QuickBMS in order to extract all the files inside the installation folder from Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.

However, I didn't find a way to decrypt the textures from the Menu and fonts, those files are in BIN files or DDS that I cannot open even with Noesis or Ravioli Game Tools. I hope you guys can help me with them, and find something inside those files.

I have the complete "menu" folder with all those files here: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Menu files

Hope you can help me and find a way to decrypt them!
Regards!
