Greetings.

In 2011, I requested models and textures from the game, including the DS version, to be submitted here. But to this day, they never were.

So, I’m going to please request again, this time, also for sounds from the game. Thanks.

I am trying to build game server emulator for an old MMO called A3 Online. I am at a stage where I need to parse map mesh data to validate movement and spawn monsters. But I am not able to figure out how to parse. I am sharing a link which has a single map data (client and server side). If someone has seen these kind of files before and knows about it please share info!

Ripping models from Tigger's Honey Hunt (2000)

I was hoping to rip models and 2D graphics from Tigger's Honey Hunt, a game that was released for PC (Windows), PS1 and the Nintendo 64 in 2000.

The three ports look and play the same. The folder/file structure and file formats are 95% identical for both the PC and PS1 ports. I don't know about the N64 one, but I expect it to be the same as well.

The game's developer company is Doki Denka and it appears they only made five other games.

I attached a look at the folder and file structure of the different levels' files (PS1 version).

The model file format is most likely LVL (because the other files seem too small in file size to me). It actually cannot be STR or XA, because those files do not exist in the PC version whereas LVL does.

The LVL files have no clear file identifier. The hex code starts and ends with a lot of 00 00 00 00 00... .

Help Ripping Harvest Town Sprites (Android, OBB ext)

So I've been at this for hours and can't get the png files in the .obb for the Android mobile game Harvest Town to open, even after going through some light hex editing (I'm no hexpert lol). I tried the classic switch from .obb to .zip, the whole file extracts just fine but all png files refuse to open with any program, and I've tried many. I even went so far as to try using 1zulu's Texture Unpacker, with no luck (can't get the correct offset value from the .obb hex data).  Shocked

I'm dying for the buildings and terrain features from this game, they're absolutely gorgeous! Is there any way that I could crack the png files from the .obb?

I can't attach the .obb I'm using, but I've linked the app and a quick google search gives many apk+obb mirrors. Any and all assistance is very much appreciated!

No really I just thought this would be a good idea to have because ripping projects often get people excited for doing stuff.

Note: Red "pending" letters don't count, as there's a chance they could be rejected.

I don't expect this project, or hell any other model-ripping projects to go very far. No one's really written a detail-heavy, up-to-date guide on how to rip models from most of these systems. Hell we'd be lucky if someone updates the N64 tutorial!

EDIT: Put this in the wrong subforum, awaiting deletion.

Ripping Nikita: Mystery of the Hidden Treasure

Hi everyone!
I'm new to the site, so I apologize if I'm missing some important details.

My first and current attempt with ripping models would be from the PC game, Nikita: The Mystery of the Hidden Treasure (2008)
I know what you're going to say. "Meez, why are you ripping from such an obscure game?" I have a soft spot for budget games. |D Nikita was also the "sequel" of Captain Claw.

I've used Ninja Ripper to rip the mesh and textures, but my problems are around the importing of the meshes itself. See, I've downloaded the Ninja Ripper add-ons for 3DS Max 2020, Autodesk Maya 2019, and Blender ver. 2.82.

Maya informs me that there's a syntax error for the add-on. Alas, I'm very rusty on coding, so I can't fix it myself. Blender says that an "upgrade to 2.8 [is] required." Lastly, 3DS Max works but the model won't show up in the work space despite me following the video tutorial step by step.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!  Shy

Extracting Assets from Fortnite?

While i am in the process of trying to figure it out myself, my arthritis and depression are being major roadblocks.

Mostly looking for buildable assets (walls floors stairs ect..) of the 3 main buildable types and the various weapons and pick options.

I wont turn down character rips as well, i'm more interested in the options above. Im going to try to figure this out eventually but if anyone else already has a way to do it or can help or is going to work on it anyway i would be most appreciative.

Ripping Animal Crossing for Gamecube / Extracting from an .img file

I would like to rip all the sound effects from Animal Crossing for Gamecube. After extracting all the files, there appears to be one called audiorom.img which I'm guessing contains the audio. I can't find any methods to extract anything from this filetype, so any advice is appreciated.

I also tried ripping from the N64 version, but it includes a ton of garbage files and some seemed to be cut off, so I was hoping gamecube would be more fruitful.

ARCTool Help

I'm trying to rip models from Dewy's Adventure, but the files are all in .arc encryption
I've used ARCTool, and after installing an old version of Python it works, but, the .brres files it outputs are empty. The pinned tutorial says Dewy's Adventure is compatible, so I know there's a way, but I have no idea why ARCTool isn't working... Any ideas?

Smooth a Ripped JPCSP Model Problem

I have models that I extract from an emulator JPCSP, I want to make a project in GTA SA rigging this skins for use, but I'm having problems. I export the OBJ scene from the emulator and import it into 3ds max and delete the objects until I get what I need, the problem is that when I apply the smooth, it doesn't get completely smooth. What to do? For your to know what I'm talking about, see the picture.

Photo 1 is the original OBJ model

Photo 2 i tested apply smooth group 1 and auto smooth in OBJ model, but this is not smooth completely

Photo 3 is another downloaded model extracted from JPCSP by another guy of the same game, this is the result i want obtain, a correct smooth.

(The game is The Warriors)

I put a link for download my export OBJ for yours to help me solve this... it is very important for me!

Thanks in advance!

Meet the Robinsons (.DBL FILE)?

Trying to rip only handful of files from the Meet the Robinsons game, but all of the model files in the game use a format I can't find any information on. I've never seen any other game that I've ripped from that uses this kind of file. Any programs I've found that use a .DBL format don't seem to be downloadable or are extremely sketchy looking. Anyone have any help on how I can go about converting these model files to readable format?

Not even sure this file is what I'm looking for, but I want to include some kind of an example.
