Hello, everyone. I was hoping someone could do me a favor and extract the 'Final Boss' skin for Veigar from League of Legends. I'd do it myself but for some reason the converter I have always fails on his model. I have no idea why either. Most other models work fine. Can someone help me out?

Hey guys!

Ever since we had that forum reset, I was wanting to get my sprite topic back on track. Now that I learned a few new tricks about palettes, I should be able to create one that actually works.

By the way, if you're interested in my old sprite topic, you could fine it right through here.

Not only did I include most the progress I have up to this point, but also I placed my newest palette experiments below the red line. What do you think? If you're happy with the static pose and the color I've chosen, I'll just move onto creating the animation then.

Also…

I'm not expecting to post this on the site, but I made this just for kicks because one of the default trainer names was Max. Even though it's fun to an extent to emulate a different style, its really hard considering how many rules I have to follow.

Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary)

((NOTE: This topic will be converted to a full-on community ripping project once I finalize the MaxScript for importing the models!))

As some of you might've seen already, I've got the know-how to get the models from Pokémon X/Y ripped with their original bone structures and rigging. The only problem right now is that my model-ripping script isn't ready for the public just yet, as there are apparently quite a few things that don't add up 100%. However this is something I can fix up manually.

So, while I'm working on figuring out how to fix that up, I'll be using this topic as a temporary hub for any Pokémon X/Y model requests for me to rip and upload. Every Pokémon is fair game for me to get right now (trainers will have to wait a bit, there seems to be an anomaly with their models that makes my script not work on 'em), and only up to 3 requests at a time -- once I get those done, you're welcome to ask for some more. Just keep in mind I'll be working on these during my spare time, so don't expect 'em right away.

High Quality Street Fighter II Voices (X68K)

I found out some time ago that the X68000 port of Street Fighter II: Champion Edition has higher quality voice clips than the original CPS1 arcade board. So after finding and messing around with an X68k emulator, I managed to eventually record them all. One thing to note is that they're slightly higher in pitch than the clips on the CPS1 board. The unused clips present in the CPS1 board's data (pain grunts, Vega KO cry) didn't make the transition to the X68k port, so they're not here unfortunately.

Hi, I'm felineki. I've been visiting The Spriters Resource for some time, but only just now decided to make an account. I'm a contributor at The Cutting Room Floor, where I primarily document unused material in Capcom's Darkstalkers games. I'm also involved in the Mugen fighting game engine community, having this year released my first creation, a highly-accurate conversion of Super Street Fighter II Turbo's Akuma. I like ripping and working with game resources in general, so I hope to make contributions here as well as look forward to enjoying other users' contributions. Smile

Recruiting Sprite Artists for 8-Bit Game

$

Hey guys, I am here to attempt to recruit some artists to join the development team for "Quest of the Juggernaut" and to be sprite artists for the game. The game development process will hopefully last into february of 2015 and if the game generates any revenue after it is released or during it's kickstarter campaign, then you will recieve a percentage of the project. The game at the moment has a programmer (me) a level designist , a composer , and a marketer. I currently as a programme up to this point have had to do all of the sprite design and really want someone to specialize for the project.

If you want to help out I please ask that you be dedicated to the project and do the work as we go along. It would suck if a quarter of the way through the project and you decide to stop. Either way, we are wanting to include 2 sprite artists if possible in the project, their requirements are listed below.

Enemy Sprite Artist :
- Make sprites and animations for the enemy sprites and dungeon bosses
- Most enemies are 16x16 px when not attacking and some are as large as 32x32 bit (possibly bigger)
- Limited to NES color pallete and cannot use opacity, or polarization

Enviroment Sprite Artist :
- Make the enviroment and scenery objects (ex. trees, rocks, paths, houses)
- Create Dungeon walls and doors along with scenery objects in dungeon.
- Limited to NES color pallete and cannot use opacity, or polarization

Both of these positions are very different and might be a lot for one person alone to take on. So if you want to do both then you might be doing a lot of work. However if you do both then your pay (if game is finished and sold) will increase. The games beta stages and alpha stages that are stable will be uploaded on the gamejolt website in the hyperlink above.

If you have any questions, ask here or shout at me on my gamejolt page. If you are wanting to try and be an artist for the project please say so below, and if you don't want to be an artist and still want to help out, then follow the game on it's page and stay tuned to the updates, alpha builds, and video logs.
Thanks again

Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff sprite rips

I'm so excited that Vinny's finally going to be in the game this Thursday. However, I would like to request sprites from the game be ripped, please. Thanks.

I have installed the game on my Acer Iconia A500 tablet with Android 3.2.1, and I have learned that the game not only uses PNG images but also .ccz and .lta files. Thing is, I don't have an unpacker to extract the files to make sprite sheets with. If anyone has the game installed on their device, and has an unpacker, again, please rip sprites from the game. Again, thanks.

Hacking PS2 game files - Extracting images?

$

Hey Everyone,

I've been asked by a friend to help them rip some graphics from a PS2 game so I've given it my best shot.

From what I can tell, the game stores images in non-discript *.BIN files concatinated together, which appears (to laymen eyes) to contain palette information + raw BMP data. I can see this because if I view the data using something like GIMP I can see the graphics (though they look corrupt).

Here is an example of what I mean:

As you can see, the raw BMP data can be seen for the first image, but the palette information is all wrong. To make matters more complicated, no matter what I do, I can't seem to unscramble the other images under it as they always come out jumbled regardless of any width I set for them. Maybe they are stored in a diffrent format? Even if I got these images to show up, I'm not even sure what a reliable way would be to seperate them since there doesn't appear to be any headers/footers for each image to cut with.

Here is the Sample file in question for those who think they might know more than me!

Any experienced people have any ideas?
