  • Need some guidance on how to access KOF Allstars sounds.
    I'm looking to rip some of the character's quotes/grunts.

    I got the Unity Studio, the game is being  runned with Unity engine.

    I'm totally clueless on how to use the unity studio.

    So before I begin, I have been on hiatus from this wonderful website and in that time spent way too much time being grilled on 4chan, weirding out family members on facebook, and making people on pixiv feel awkward.

    So let me be the first to say if you think this place is bad? no It's actually great compared to the rest of the internet.

    So i went and ripped character models from the Mobile game Winx Club Secret of the abyss and i noticed something wierd, one of the character models of the main cast is properly t-posed

    However some of the other character models aren't t-posed and are instead in some sort of pose, as if they're in a idle pose....not sure why this happened or if it's something to do with the way i ripped them (the game uses unity engine so i was able to use unity studio to rip them) [Image: unknown.png] this one seems to be in a near A-pose or V-pose. I'm not sure if this is how they're meant to be or not.

    Edit: I tried one of the other mobile games and the models rip in a flying pose, and then one of the models is just broken and a bunch of broken, tiny specks minus a few pieces. not sure why it happens to that one specific character model but i can't seem to get it to rip with rigging and not have it do that. [Image: unknown.png]

    The last time I showed off a sprite and submitted it, it wasn't really my best work. I've been striving to improve ever since, so I decided to do this. I made the Bowser Memory characters in the Super Mario Maker style. I tried to stay true to the limitations and original animations as possible, even going as far as to stay within the pallet limit. I hope my sprite gets accepted, and I hope you guys like my work. Smile

    Can someone help? I extracted a Super Mario 3D World .wud file, but there were only a few stuff. It was probably because of my full disc storage. Maybe I should clear out my storage, and maybe I can extract it again. Anyway, I suggest you please help. Thanks. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    This model got rejected twice, once was because Hitmontop was smiling in the model, and they ask for default facial expressions. So I made it default, and another mistake was the file was double, and the expression is wrong?

  • I don't remember even how long it's been, but years I'm sure. Tried to find this place casually the other day since I'm getting back into pixel art, didn't have much luck. Then today I thought "No way the place is dead, maybe it's not called TSR anymore?" A bit of google-fu later and yeah, found my way here.

    So, sup everyone, I'll probably post some sprites once I've got something I think is worth sharing. In the meantime, howdy y'all.

    First of all, excuse me for my broken english.

    Second, i recently decided to rip some graphics from Princess maker refine (i've heard it's somewhat complicated)
    and, i've actually made some progress in this

    I used HEX editor to extract data from files listed below.

    this is what i've got so far:

    i guess, this is a alpha mask for one of daughter's sprites from 17 years
    (darker colors mean less value of alpha, i think)
    also, it's mirrored vertically, for some reason

    so, i guessing that these files:

    so, i don' have idea, where palettes are stored.

    Can anyone suggest me methods of extracting palette for sprites?

  • After nearly a year of being absent from the spriting scene, I have returned to pixels by making as many Sonic SatAM and Archie stuff as I possibly can. I rediscovered these facets of the Sonic franchise a while back and I've always wanted to make sprites of them because, while places like TSR have some, they don't have much. Or, not as much as I'd like. We needs characters! Tile sets! Background images! And I plan on doing it all somehow. But don't expect me to crank it all out quickly as I have other projects to spend time on. This is just something fun I'd thought I'd do between them. If anyone wants to help me, then I welcome you with open arms! The project uses my 2 Souls' Tale style and the animations and poses are all based on animations and panels from the SatAm and Archie Sonic series. IDW? What's that? ;P

    Anyway, here's what I have so far:
