I can't find any tutorials either, if anyone could rip the files I would appreciate it.

my SMD hell

So I'm pretty much self-taught when it comes to 3D modeling and animating, and I love using the modeler's resource to take pokemon models and teach myself the basic mechanics by manipulating them. Recently, Sun and Moon models have been coming out and I really wanna play around with animations. I use Blender, so I downloaded the toolkit that allows me to use SMD. But every time I load the smd. file in, the armature and model become a mess! I can tell some basic poses that are trying to happen because I know the game well enough, but the body is all contorted and the fingers are often straight-up broken. I've experienced this on the Skull Grunt Male and Female models. In fact, when working on the Male Grunt I used the smd file that is not in the animations folder, and a 3d model for the female grunt appeared. Below will be some images of my personal hell if they can fit. Someone save me from this.

Annoying uploading problems

I have send many models to upload, but all the models
was rejected because "Improper swapping of normal map channel colors" why?
On my pc works perfectly, and the texture i rip
is ripped esactly like the original, everything is fine.
why? maybe the program that use who check the models have issues at loading models?
also if the "normal" map is not ok, just cut it off,
i see a lot of models that have only the basic colored texture....
i'm the only one that have these issues?

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D Ripping Help

As the thread subject implies, I am curious of how one would be able to rip models from the 3DS game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D" and import them into a modeling program (like Autodesk 3DS Max or something along the lines of that). If someone could state what to do and what programs I would need, I would greatly appreciate that. Smile

HOW DO YOU POST CUSTOM 3D MODELS!?

Ok, so I have been trying for 2 weeks, waiting for approval of a "Custom" Spongebob movie game model. Here's the model in question.

https://www.models-resource.com/resource...759497.png

I'm not sure why they keep rejecting it. Its puzzling since they have mario and sonic customs on the front page. Maybe it was too specific, or not enough? I would just like some help on how I can get it in the custom model tab. Btw the model has yet to be checked, but I did fix a lot of the issues with it. Just need to get it in the section.

How would I rip a POSE from a game?

I'd like to rip a pose from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, because the ones here are T-Stanced. How would I go about doing that? Then if it is possible, can I export it as .obj so I can put it into Pepukura Designer 4? Thanks in advance
Oh yeah, I am playing using PCSX2 1.4.0. if it helps.

I wanna rip the model as shown in the attachment but not as a t-stance, just as-is. Will the software just do it by default? I can't get anything to wrok so what do I use?

Sorry if these are really dumb questions, I'm new to this ripping thing. (also to the forums!)

Rabbids Go Home Model Ripping Help

$

The game Rabbids Go Home (Wii) has all of the game's files in three .bf archives:  RGH.$hd$.bik.BF ( 413 MB ) contains .bik movies such as cutscenes from the game,  RGH.wii.sns.BF ( 734 MB ) contains all of the game's sounds in .sns format, and RGH.BF ( 0.98 GB ) contains many different types of files, such as .bik [which are just pointers to the .bik movies in RGH.$hd$.bik.BF], .bin, .cfg, .dat, .sns [again, they are just pointers to the RGH.wii.sns.BF file], and others that may be too small and useless to mention.

Once the latter .bf file was extracted via quickbms, it was a matter of me trying to find the game's models, primarily focusing on the .bin and .dat files, because they were the largest types of files in the archive (the largest .bin file being 9.90 MB, and the largest .dat file 316 KB ), and a model can't be smaller than at least 2 KB. The catch was, however, that all the .bin and .dat files were named after an 8-byte value (for example: fef01276.bin or a06629c.dat), so it wouldn't be easy to identify the models from sprites or other game files other than sounds.

So, after all that rambling, here's the point I'm trying to make: could someone decipher the attached sample .bin and .dat files and see if they are models or not, and maybe allow it to be imported into 3ds Max/Blender via a Max Script or a plugin, respectively? Help will be appreciated.

Attached in the link are 10 sample files, 5 of each file type (.bin and .dat), the 1st ones being the largest of both types of files, and 4 that are selected randomly out of the 1,359 .bin files and 1,193 .dat files. If there's no luck in finding any model format in the sample files I attached, I can always upload more on this thread, since the chances of randomly finding a model out of 2,552 files amongst sprites and other things may be a little slim.

Again, help is very much appreciated!
